Anna was fantastic. Kept us on track without rushing, informative, relaxed. Our driver Roman was likewise friendly and helpful The places on the itinerary gave a great insight into the area (feel the need to go back and look at more.) the meals are better than the pictures they send for selection.

Reviews
The group was diverse in terms of age and geography. Our hosts Katie (Anglicised name) and Roman looked after us really well. Comfortable travel, knowledgeable about the area. Great crowd of people, good memorises and lots of photos.
Challenging hike, more than we expected. Ana was fantastic and full of energy. Couldn’t ask for a better tour guide and motivator.
Anna was a great guide and Lǔdek was a great driver. The day was well planned. They were moderate level hikes but so worth all the great and beautiful views!! Appreciate the great communication before the trip and good updates of upcoming plans during the trip. This is a great way of seeing such beautiful scenery so close to Prague.
The best hiking experience which I didn’t have expect it will be like this
Anna was a great tour guide. She was very informative. She took us on some excellent and challenging routes. She was very patient she made our experience seamless. She accommodated all of our groups needs.
A ton of walking for great payoffs! Our tour guide and driver were very knowledgeable. The driver was the best driver ever, I hope you get Eric!
Be prepared to hike to some hidden gems! It was well worth it for what we got to see. Lunch was outstanding! And the guide was great in sharing stories and history of the area. This trip was a great addition to our Prague vacation!
Long day of hiking so be prepared! We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and great lunch! Anna was a very nice tour guide!
The area is strikingly similar to a fairytale, 🩷 from the movie settings of chronicles of narnia! situated in the enchanting bohemian Switzerland filled with Narnia vibes! an ice forest breathtaking beauty.
Great trip our guide was full of good information everything ran on time and the sites were beautiful reccomend to visit to escape the city
Its amazing just like the description ,on time small group , and full of amazing nature and trying new traditional food
Had one of the best tours in my life here! Amazing views, landscapes and tour guide ANNA! She’s kind knowledgeable about the area and nice to be with. Thank you very much for an amazing day!
The driver and the guide are friendly. The lunch has many main dishes to choose. I enjoyed most of the trip except the boat riding. The boat riding was rather boring for me. It took one hour to go to and back from the boat but only 18~20 minutes on the boat.
The entire experience was truly magical and the tour guide somehow managed to make it even better. Every interaction from the entire team was worth it. We loved every moment and would definitely be recommending!
Enjoyed the hike and the customized service provided by the driver and guide to ensure we were taken care from pick up to drop off!
This was an awesome activity on the boarder of Czechia and Germany. We were able to see some outstanding country side with amazing views. There were 2 long steep walks which could be a challenge but if you take your time they would be fine. A lovely lunch also included.
Bring coins for the WC You are hiking up and down hills Tour guide and bus driver were great Would be different in the rain
This was a great visit to some unexpected historical landmarks in both Germany and northern Czech Republic. - The communications from Cayman Travel for pickup the night before were very detailed and helpful. - Our guide for the day, Yvette, had an impressive combination of knowledge, humor, and patience. Enjoyed being with her. - Although not too strenuous for regular walkers/hikers, it is a full day of activity, with significant steps/climbs in a couple of the locations and a total distance of about 8 miles.
This tour was awesome. Definitely plan for the whole experience to take ~12 hours and like others mention, definitely helpful to have your own snacks and water. It’s a lot of walking but well worth it. Loved that the first stop was in Germany as well. Highly recommend, this tour was great solo but would also be fun with family, friends, or your partner!
Bohemian Swiss national park is truly a hidden gem and we enjoyed our experience with Viator powered by Cayman island travel company. We got service door to door and full day of hiking adventures in the most beautiful and enchanting part of the Europe. The rock castle, boat ride and tallest arch in Europe was magical and truly magnificent! The tour company took care of the internal bookings and meals which was great. We faced with some rains during our last hike to the arch but we rewarded ourselves with hot coffee and hot chocolate at a cliff restaurant on top overlooking the arch which was really cool! So do check the weather before heading out however we had a comfortable yet exciting adventure.
Park is beautiful, but our tour is not satisfied. We signed up for an English-speaking tour, but the company sent a driver who didn’t speak any English. The entire two-hour drive was silent. Once we arrived, a local guide joined us, but he provided very little information—there was no brochure or map, and he assumed we already knew everything from the website. We paid for a guided English tour, but it felt like we could have just gone on our own. Due to the rain, the tour was cut short and we returned to Prague early. When the driver dropped us off at the hotel, we wanted to check our belongings, but he quickly drove off to drop off the other two passengers. Only then did we realize we had left our sunglasses and umbrella in the car. There was no contact number for the driver, and even if there had been, he didn’t speak English. We called the company immediately. They claimed the driver had already left and gone through the tunnel, which wasn’t true—he was still in Prague dropping off the other passengers. After a long conversation, they finally agreed to contact the driver. About half an hour later, they returned our missing sunglasses and umbrella. Unfortunately, the sunglasses were broken
A lot of uphill and downhill walking, wear good walking or hiking shoes, should be in good physical condition
Very well organized and well thought out schedule. The sights are beautiful and the guide was very kind and informative.
Great experience with beautiful views, short but fun boat ride, nice walks and great tour guide. Food included was also quite reasonable.
Informative tour guide and friendly driver Be prepared to hike up and down the trail for at least 3+ hours. Sceneries during and at the end is worth the effort. A la carte lunch is ordered from a traditional Czech menu, deliciously prepared.
Arriving at the top of our 45 minute climb up was rewarding. Wasn't expecting more steep steps to get to the boat ride.
All is excellent, the driver , the tour guide , the views from the mountains and the river boat . Many thanks to our excellent tour guide Evite
Very nice trip, highly recommended, just Ware comfortable clothes and go for a great adventures throughout the day with nice small group
This was an excellent tour, highly recommended. Our delightful guide Dalibora made the day run seamlessly. Very informative and helpful. The rock formations at the first two places were breathtaking. The only word of warning is that the hike up out of the gorge at the end of the tour was steep and challenging, and we were a bit concerned at one stage that one in our party might not be able to make it back up to the bus.
Really nice daytrip with beautiful views! A bit hard at times but well worth the effort. We had a very friendly guide with a lot of knowledge about the places we visited.
After a week of touring castles and churches it was so refreshing to get outside and see some of the natural beauty of the area. Great tour for those that want some physical exercise - the hiking isn't particularly arduous but isn't for those who do not do regular vigorous exercise. It was the best day of my trip.
One of the top three things we did on our vacation! This tour was AMAZING! Yvette was wonderful. If you like to hike and are an eco-tourist, this is the tour for you. They are not easy hikes so be warned but we highly, highly recommend this tour. Parks were beautiful.
The National Park tour was excellent. Enraptured by the wonders of nature. Our guide (Yvette) was knowledgeable, warm and friendly. Loved it.
I had a great time doing this day trip. I was debating if we should do this hike considering my wife’s ability. Unfortunately that morning my wife was very sick I had to go solo. Knowing the 24hr cancellation policy I knew I’ll be losing half of the payment. Sorry I have to mention this I didn’t had a chance to give positive feedback to GetYourGuide we were still on a tour and leaving feedback has closed. I want to thank Anna (our guide) so much that helped us with the refund. We got the full refund for my wife’s fee. Back to Cayman. Don’t hesitate book a tour with them they are very friendly and nice people. You’ll be very comfortable with them even with the driver happened to be the owner. Anna is very lively, informative happy caring person. I thought I’ll be bored just easily seeing the Bastei Bridge cause I want some action and the bridge is easily accessible from the parking lot. Don’t get me wrong it’s great to see.. Views are wonderful. Then Anna assured me that we will hike. So for more adventurous people you’ll get your workout. Hike to Pravčická Gate. I really like the hike might not be for everyone with physical skill limitations. But to tell you we had a Japanese gentleman in his 70’s that was able to finish the whole task. Kamenice Gorge was a bonus. Very relaxing well maintained beautiful trail. I love the place. Then again for more adventurous people Anna will bring you to a steep I would say not 😁well maintained trail that we enjoy.. more challenges. Then a relaxing end with nice fire trail, tall trees. They know how to do it right. I really enjoyed it. Book with GetYourGuide and Cayman great support! Thanks 🤗
It was an amazing tour, well worth the money, in my opinion. Views were unmatched. Being picked up from the hotel and having the lunch place as part of the tour helped take pressure off and fully relax. Ivette was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable, and very patient with a full tour group of 2 vans. I would definitely recommend the tour, especially if you’re lucky enough to get Ivette as your guide.
The guide we had didn’t seem to know much English though the reviews said that the guides were really good. You depart at 7am and eat at around 3/3:30 so make sure you’re bringing snacks and enough water in your bag. Although the gesture of a croissant on the bus is kind it’s not enough for the amount of walking you’re doing. The trip if you’re vegetarian is difficult, the place you go to eat food has like two veggie “meals”. One a plate full of cheese with option for croquettes and the second labeled “vegetarian risotto” is a small plate of rice with peas. Bring cash as this place doesn’t take card so if you think the portion sizes are small, which they are, the place has snacks there. Regardless of this the views were incredible, definitely worth it we were so lucky as it was 20C…
Need to get out in nature? Have more energy left in those legs? Amazing trip - a definite add-on to time in Prague. Absolutely stunning views but you have to work hard to earn them - be prepared for some serious hills and steps. Our guide was fantastic and very patient with those of us who lagged behind to take photos!
First of all I want to thanks both my tour guide, Evas and her driver friend for being friendly and helpful throughout the trip. The hiking was not too hard-core as they very safe and nice steps and hiking trail. ( Eventhough some of the steps was steep🫠) But the view of Bastei Bridge, Pravcicka Brana with lot of majestic sandstones and the Gorges of Kamenice River ( River of imagination according to our tour guide 😀) worth all the walking!
If you have a day spare, this a must do while in Prague. Our guides and driver were brilliant! We were picked up from our hotel and take to our destination. The hikes were spectacular with some fantastic views and sights. The boat tour was a nice chance to sit and take in the views. This was very much a ‘jungle cruise’ experience as the boat guide was funny with plenty of wit. We stopped for lunch in the afternoon which was a great chance to chat with the others in our group and get some energy before our final accent. We were given water and snacks on the coach. Our main guide left after the final hike so we didn’t get a chance to tip. So if you want to tip, do it before you get on the coach.
I was very disappointed with our guide and how he paid attention to our needs, we had two vans of people and he drove with the others leaving 6 of us with a non English speaking driver, when we met up at the park he just took off and 4 of us had trouble finding him, The things were okay until after lunch unfortunately we were unable to do the more difficult hikes and had been told that we would be accommodated but that wasn’t the case, one person had a recent knee injury and the other had knee replacement and 4 of us didn’t feel comfortable on the gorge hike and 5 didn’t go on the arch hike and we were left at a restaurant to wait for a total of 5 hours, it was a very long day and we spent half of it waiting by ourselves, I was very disappointed with this tour
Being there with my father and the guide was great! Guide had much history knowledge. Made the trip enjoyable for both my father and myself.
Absolutely amazing tour. So many breathtaking views and so many photos taken. So beautiful. Peaceful and relaxing. Our guild was professional and amazing. Answered every question and so helpful, going above and beyond. Highly recommended. Just remember to bring comfortable walking shoes.
Spectacular sights to see - not to be missed. Hotel pick up and drop off was great, Edward the guide was enjoyable to be around. Lunch was good. Definitely a tour to do while in Prague.
We had an amazing time going on this tour. It was well timed, the hiking pace was good, the lunch is great and the guide was very informative and friendly. I am glad we booked this tour. If you are thinking about visiting the Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland National Parks, I highly recommend Cayman Travel. I cannot say enough good things about our guide and this tour.
Fantastic trip with a small group! The walking is a bit strenuous so wear good walking shoes, but well worth it for the beautiful views. A tasty traditional Czech lunch was appreciated
The trip is demanding in terms of physical condition but it worth the pain. Our guide was very knowledgeable and patient and our driver was very thoughtful in bringing water for all. We saw and did everything a person can do in one day. I recommend it.
I joined the tour on 6th April, 2024 with great sunny weather. The driver was waiting for us in the hotel lobby on time and took us to meet up with another group of people from Dresden. We were glad that only 4 people in total in our tour so the tour guide was really caring for us. He was the driver for the Dresden group. He was very informative, knowledgeable, friendly and talkative. We had a really nice chat about everything in Czech and our home country. He gave us enough time to take photos for each scenic spot (because the view was breathtaking) and even gave us advice on what places we should go next around Prague. My friend and I enjoyed the tour very much! A lot of walking but definitely worth the time and price!
I am very disappointed by this activity which is much too expensive... 152 euros! For what ? I like walking but 12 kilometers in a day is very slow ! I spent more hours waiting than walking! I waited for people who were walking too slowly, I waited for the other group to be together, I waited to get activity tickets, I waited for people to finish eating,... The Bastei bridge is worth the detour but half a day is way too much! The 20-minute boat ride is of no interest! The natural bridge is very good! If you want to walk... run away! If you don't like waiting... run away! This is my personal opinion regarding this activity!
We had a memorable driving, walking, climbing & short boating experience, including a very local & tasty lunch with our very age considerate and knowledgeable guide Michal. The pace was quite leisurely with a slight hint of a cardio workout (climbed the equivalent of 68 flights of stairs) at times. The views were spectacular in the Saxon Switzerland National Park inclusive of the Bastie Bridge in Germany and the Gorges of Kamenice trek & climb and it's short and very entertaining boat ride. We also visited and climbed around a very weathered sandstone formation for which I have forgotten the name.
