Itinerary
Meet your guide in the very heart of the Old Town at the threshold of the Charles Bridge and set off on a magical journey through time. On this unique tour you will learn the most interesting stories of more than a thousand years of Prague history, admire an extraordinary richness of Prague architecture, the variety of styles and the art of the old masters which will accompany us at every step.
Begin with a romantic stroll across the Charles Bridge enjoying the breathtaking view of the Castle panorama after which you sink into the streets of the Lesser Town.
Take a tram and enjoy the beautiful view on our way up to the Prague Castle.
As you stroll through the ancient seat of the Czech kings and emperors, carried away by the monumental splendor of the gothic St. Vitus Cathedral, your guide will reveal some more from the glorious royal past of the Czech Lands.
Continue to the Jewish Quarter, once the largest Jewish settlement in Europe! Here in the area with unusually mysterious atmosphere we find number of exceptionally preserved synagogues and the ancient Old Jewish Cemetery. The highlight of the walk is the Prague Old Town with the beautiful Old Town Square. This old marketplace, originally built in the 11th century, is Dominated by the splendid Church of Our Lady Before Týn and the Old Town Hall. Here, as a living witness of the history, the Prague Astronomical Clock has been measuring time for more than six centuries.
But now is the time for well deserved rest and refreshment. You are warmly welcome to enjoy an excellent lunch in one of the traditional Prague's pubs. Taste typical Czech food and maybe even a glass of fine Czech beer!
After the lunch you will still have an opportunity to explore some of the most picturesque narrow streets of medieval Old Town on your way to the pier. Now, pleasantly tired, you hop aboard a fully wooden boat built in the tradition of the 19th century and your Vltava River cruise can start! Do not forget to have your camera ready to capture snaps of some of Prague’s legendary landmarks as you go, now from a different perspective! In winter, the guests are kept warm by period stoves and hot wine, in summer they are served cold beer or soft drinks accompanied by a sweet treat.
After your cruise you have a unique chance of a free visit to the Charles Bridge Museum which is located at the very same spot. In front of the Charles Bridge, at Krizovnicke square, by the Statue Charles IV.

Janna was absolutely delightful! Besides being very knowledgeable, she was considerate of each person and a lovely personality. I thoroughly enjoyed the day with her!
This was the best way to learn about Prague in general. Our guide, Hannah, was terrific. The food at the restaurant was very good with a variety of choices. The boat ride added to the tour. We visited so many landmarks in the 6 hour time frame. Best city tour we have ever taken.
This was a fantastic tour from a fantastic guide (Lucie). She took us around to so many different sights and gave us interesting information on them all. The day didn’t feel rushed, but we saw a lot. Highly recommend!
Lucie was extremely knowledgeable, engaging /nd thoughtful in her presentation of the best of Prague.
Guide was very good and knowledgeable It was reasonable value, I thought the lunch was average The cruise was very good and had good commentary
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Veronica! My friend and I had the absolute pleasure of having her as our tour guide in Prague, and she was genuinely one of my favorite people I’ve met during my travels. She is incredibly knowledgeable, articulate, and passionate about what she does, and it shows in every detail of her tour. Everything she shared felt so thoughtful and unique, and I walked away feeling like I had learned things about Prague that I never would have discovered otherwise. Beyond her impressive knowledge, Veronica has such a warm, welcoming, and infectious personality. She made everyone feel included and comfortable, and she truly has a way of lighting up a room. It is so clear that she loves what she does, and she is exceptionally good at it. She turned what could have been an ordinary sightseeing experience into something genuinely special and memorable. I could not recommend her more highly. If you have the opportunity to tour Prague with Veronica, you absolutely should. She is truly one of a kind!
Anna kept everyone engaged in the tour and you could tell she was genuinely new her stuff and was so genuine and lovely
Highly recommend this tour! Anna was so engaging and knowledgeable. We did a lot of walking so flat shoes are a must. Plus if accessibility is an issue this isn't for you. We had a free day after this one and Anna's recommendations really helped us narrow down what to visit.
It was very informative. Janna was very knowledgeable and sympathetic. I thinknit was good value for money fornqhat it was worth. Food that was included was decent portions. The cruise was also very good. It did seem a bit rushed but tbere was a lot to cover to a schedule. It was not leisurely but brisk. The operator also ensured thwre was enough toilet stops etc. I would recommend especially if you are for a short time in prague to cover the essentials.
The tour guide was knowledgeable and personable. The tour was well guided and appropriately paced. Would definitely recommend.
Be prepared to walk on beautiful cobblestones flat and uphill and take in so much history. Cool feels cold with the breeze and humidity. This was an exceptional tour, led by Ana. She made the experience truly worthwhile. The lunch and boat ride were nice inclusions.
Great directions for a central meeting spot. Tour Guide Ana was phenomenal. She is knowledgeable, strong communicator, prepared, thorough, adaptable, and friendly. The tour covers many of the popular spots in Prague and serves as a great introduction for a deeper dive post tour. Affordable and the inclusion of the Czech lunch and boat cruise increase the value of the experience. As a senior in good shape, the walking (about 4.5 miles) was fine but rough cobblestones and stairs would be a challenge for limited mobility folks. This tour is not wheelchair friendly. I highly recommend!
This is a walking tour, if you cannot walk that much, it will be not easy for you. Otherwise, it was a great trip to know more details about the city. We had great experiences with our guide, she is kind and knowledgeable.
Really good overview of the many attractions Prague has to offer. A lot of walking so, try to pick a day (as not much cover) that has good weather and have good footwear.
We had an amazing day with Anna! Even though the weather was terrible, she made our day delightful. Her knowledge, spirit, and love of her country’s history made us all enjoy the day immensely. I highly recommend!
Great day with a fantastic and knowledgeable guide! She also gave good information as to how to visit sites that were not included in the tour.
Great comprehensive walking tour of old Prague. Walking sections, tram ride, lunch, boat ride well spaced out. Anna was an excellent tour. Very knowledgeable and very personable. She added a lot of color to the tour.
This is an excellent tour which incorporates all the highlights from old town to Lesser town to the bridge to the castle and back to the Jewish quarter. Lunch and a beer is included and the tram, river cruise and entry to the Charles bridge museum so this is good value. Anna was a top guide and shared so much info with the group including her good sense of humour. Our group walked 5 miles and were out until 5pm so be prepared to commit but it’s so worth it and can also do the river cruise and the museum at a different day/time
The tour guide was absolutely fantastic! Great overview of the Prague Castle, and wonderful insight into the history of Prague, including the Jewish quarter.
Our guide was good and informative but maybe gave too much information . I would definitely skip the cruise , it was worthless , nothing to see in the low seated boat we were in . I wished we had booked a smaller group tour .
This was my first time visiting Prague. and I was especially interested in seeing the enormous castle complex. I had a great local tour guide that was fluent in English. Before we began, she explained everything that we would do, passed out audio devices and ensured that they were connected and working, and then proceeded to guide us through some interesting parts of the city, including the Prague castle. The lunch that was provided at a local restaurant was very good and included beer or wine, if desired. There was a boat ride that didn’t go very far but showed some of the sights of the city from the water. While on the boat, we were also served a small snack and had the opportunity to have a beverage as well. The tour lasted a little over six hours and was well worth the price.
A great way to start a visit to Prague to get an overview and to decide where to go back to in the remaining days
The tour was a perfect way to see many of the wonderful highlights Prague has to offer, including a traditional lunch and a view of the city from the river by a quaint boat cruise.
Teresa the guide was very good and very friendly She explained the history very well 👏
it was very friendly atmosphere, well experienced in his job.. He make sure all the participants understood the tour
The walking tour was fantastic and very informative. Our guide Ross was amazing with his knowledge and stories of Prague. He was very accommodating to our group, encouraged questions and had a wonderful personality. The lunch was fantastic as well as the boat ride. You can’t miss with this tour! It’s great to get a lay of the land around Prague. Thanks to Ross we had a great list of other places to see while in Prague.
The guide Ross was very knowledgeable and organised. Remember it is a walking tour there is a fair amount of walking.

Wonderful guided tour of Prague! Katerina was very knowledgeable about the city and its history. The lunch was authentic and delicious!
Buma our guide was friendly and very informative. We had quite a large group (21) and she make sure we were all safe and included. We learned a lot about Prague and the country.
The guide was knowledgeable and related well with the group. There was a delay boarding the boat which extended the time of the tour. The pace was quick however there were regular stops for information. Comfort stops often required queuing for women.
This tour is extraordinarily good. The tour guide, a Cuban born schekoslaque, is very nice and well informed guide. Prague is lovely and this tour with this tour guide make us love more Prague. It is a very complete visit to the city. Long walking but it is very valuable. Very cost effective tourism Guide. Jose Manuel Rivera is a very knowledgeable guide and very nice person to meet and learn from him the very interesting history of this lovely city. We recommend with best grades this tour and its guide Jose Manuel. Very much knowledge acquired during this tour
This was an excellent tour. Our tour guide Ross was exceptional. Very knowledgeable, great energy, and very easy to understand in English. I would highly recommend.
It is guide around prague and does not enter any buildings like the castle or cathedral. Further tickets will be needed. It was a good guide as to what you wanted to go back to see. The history was excellent.
We had a wonderful time with our guide on this tour. Ross clearly knew the history of the area and shared so much fascinating information during our time with him. His great sense of humor and pleasant demeanor really made it a day to remember! After most of the walking was complete, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. As if that wasn’t enough, Ross then walked us over for a calming a very enjoyable cruise on the river. We highly recommend this event, and if you are lucky enough to get Ross you will have a day to remember!
It is a great way to see the city but be prepared for lots of walking. Lunch was really good however it didn’t happen until 1;30. Hannah was great!
Well rounded informational tour of all the highlighted tourist attractions with some insightful information. Ross did a fantastic job in the educational history of Prague and the Czech Republic.
Great experience - see all the most important sights in Prague old town. Decent lunch and boat trip included. Our guide - Ross - was extremely knowledgeable and witty. Well worth the price.
Ross was our guide and he was outstanding. He imported knowledge for six hours which we all greatly appreciated. He inserted humor and firsthand experience and told us where the tourist traps were. We’ve done this for years. He was the best
Ross is an exceptional guide, he really knows his stuff! We learnt so much about the history of Czechia. The tour is well- paced and excellent value for money. A great tour to do if you only have a short time in Prague, as it incorporates a lot of the " must- see" places. Would 100% recommend.
Mostly a walking tour with a short tram ride to Prague Castle and a boat tour to end the sightseeing.
We loved this tour. Our guide Boomer was fantastic. She was so passionate and enlightening and willing to share her knowledge. We all thoroughly enjoyed this tour with her and highly recommend it!
Jana was an excellent guide! This tour was perfect for getting familiar with Prague. Great historical information while exploring the many sites of Prague. We were lucky to have a smaller group which was very nice. I enjoyed it very much.
Excellent city tour covering all the key sites. We walked, took the tram, a good steady pace and a nice lunch aswell. Buma was a brilliant guide and really knowledgable
I was worried that this tour would be long and tiring, but our guide Buma was funny, engaging, and very knowledgeable, and the tour was great! Lunch was substantial.
This was a very thorough walking tour of Prague including a boat tour of the river and the famous canal with an authentic Czech lunch and rest stops at bathrooms and a cafe. We had an excellent guide (Buma) who gave us a brilliant introduction to Czech history and the forces which shaped this beautiful city.
What a great day!! Buma was the best guide ever! So informative and funny. We learned so much today and would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn the history of the beautiful city.
