Lenka pasekova was absolutely fantastic! She delivered a fabulous tour, really got to know us and what we wanted to see, understand, and learn about. She handpicked the route to maximize what we found most interesting given what we’d already seen and wanted to know more about. Even during a heat wave, she was careful to find shade and share less traveled paths, arrange water breaks and restroom stops. She had flawless communication by text within 24 hrs of our tour and treats for us when she picked us up at our hotel. We could not have had a more enjoyable day. She hit a home run! Next time we are in Prague we will book her again!

The great Gothic Cathedral of Saint Vitus and other valuable architecture treasures
This beautiful baroque Marian pilgrimage site with the Baroque Church of the Nativity and a replica of the Holy House is surrounded by cloisters and chapels. We usually do not enter, but is you like you can decide to pay the entry fee (about 10USD) and see the interior treasures.
This vast palace and garden is a charming Baroque was built by one of the most powerful and wealthiest Czech noblemen, Albrecht von Wallenstein. Today it is the seat of the Czech Senate. The beautiful Wallenstein Gardens are open to the public during the summer, free of charge.
We will stroll across Prague’s oldest bridge, the iconic Charles Bridge, adorned with 30 picturesque statues and featuring the most beautiful Gothic bridge tower in Europe. Standing since 1357, the bridge’s legendary construction is said to have been helped by eggs mixed into the mortar. Touch the magical five-star sign to make a wish, and feel the power of the saints. This is the heart of Prague, where you can immerse yourself in the city’s golden past—a truly romantic experience! You might even recognize the setting from the first Mission Impossible movie. Nearby, explore the charming Prague Venice area, with its Devil’s Stream side channel, and the famous John Lennon Wall, a symbol of anti-communist protest. At the bridge’s end, you’ll see the magnificent Klementinum, a former Jesuit College now serving as the National Library.
Strolling through the oldest streets, we will reach the charming Old Town Square, the 3D textbook of many architectural styles. There are many important sights: the baroque, gateau-like St. Nicholas church, the Kinský Palace - the city’s finest rococo facade, the gothic House at the Stone Bell, the spiky-topped Church of Týn and much more. The Square is dominated by the Jan Hus Statue and the Old Town Hall (damaged by Nazis in W.W. II). Everybody just "wow" at the truly amazing Astronomical Clock with the hourly show - 12 apostles appearing in two windows and the skeleton ringing the bell. Notice the bloody execution place marked by the crosses. We can also reach the tower of the Town Hall (by lift :-) and enjoy a panoramic view.
The Church of Our Lady before Týn is among the most beautiful Gothic buildings in Prague. Its distinctive twin spires make the Týn Church an unmistakable Old Town landmark. The illustrious Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe is buried in this Church.
Architecture of 20 century
The most beautiful Art Noveau building of Prague. The Municipal House facade is eye-catching monumental architectural composition. Monumental allegorical figures, displayed all over the facade of the building, which were created by some of the greatest local artists. Anthropomorphical sculptures are accompanied by decor with Art Nouveau floral ornaments as well as other classical architectural elements. It is a civic building that houses Smetana Hall, a celebrated concert venue, where The Prague Spring festival is held.
The Old Town Hall Tower is one of the most striking buildings in Prague. Inside is a staircase and an elevator, which visitors can climb or ride to the top to take in beautiful views over the Old Town. The amazing mediaeval clock is located at the side of the Old Town Hall Tower. When the clock strikes the hour, the procession of the Twelve Apostles statues appears in front of visitors.

This is a wonderful tour! Our guide Betty was so knowledgeable and tailored the tour to our interest. It is a wonderful way to get to know the city.
My daughter and I toured beautiful Praha with Jana and could not have been more pleased! Since it was a private tour, we chose what we wanted to see. After meeting Jana at our hotel, we took the tram to Old CIty, Jewish Quarter, Charles Bridge leading into the castle area. Jana showed us the sites while describing the architecture and providing historical details. Jana is kind, smart and knowledgeable. It was our pleasure to travel with her. After touring my daughter and I were well-versed in the area enough to travel on our own for the remainder of the trip. I highly recommend this tour! Thank you Jana, and Viator!
We had a fantastic tour of beautiful Prague with an excellent, personable guide, someone who knows the city and its history intimately. Once in a lifetime experience!
Sarka does an amazing job. A very personal explanation of Prague from someone who grew up here and understands the essence and historical details of this wonderful city. We toured with her company eleven years ago and it was so special to do it again this year. We spent three days with her, two in Prague and one day trip to Terezín. A really special visit.
When we travel to new cities, we always hire a personal guide to provide historical and cultural backstories to the usual and unusual highlights that each city has to offer. Recently in Prague, we were fortunate to be guided by Sarka through the Jewish Quarter and old city. Not only did she provide us with an incredible amount of information and history, but she also took us to several restaurants that we never would have found on our own. Thanks to Sarka for lifelong memories of her beautiful city.
Sarka was an amazing guide, knowledgeable, friendly and made the most out of our stay in Prague. Prague is a beautiful city to walk around. If you have difficulty walking Sarka will make the tour fit your needs with private transportation and arrange to drive you close to the sights. If you're in Prague definitely arrange for guided tour with Sarka
Sarka is a wonderful guide -- and person! She is very knowledgeable, personable, and flexible. Communication before the tour was timely, clear and thorough. During the tour (two 1/2 days -- definitely a good way to take a whole day tour), her knowledge and personality shine. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Sarka. If we have the opportunity to go back, we will definitely contact her again. Thank you!!!!!
Our personal guide did a fantastic job. She went over the tour and incorporated our feedback in the tour. Met all our expectations. Would definitely use again.
I cannot even begin to rate our guide, Lenka, highly enough. She deserves the highest possible rating for going so far and beyond expectations: 1) She made sure our three kids were engaged during our tours. She brought coloring books and markers for them, created interactive activities for them related to our sightseeing, even brought snacks! We were absolutely FLOORED by the level of consideration she showed our kids! 2) Lenka went far beyond what we expected, and made our experience truly unique. She managed to get us "extras" at every turn (a private tour of the Grandhotel Pupp, including a visit to the Presidential Suite!). I've done many tours, group and private, and none compare to the level of service Lenka delivered. 3) Lenka was knowledgable on so many topics, and if ever we stumped her, she was sure to find the answer and get back to us! She is truly dedicated to her craft, and it's clearly she has a passion for sharing culture, history, food, and all aspects of travel.
We had the best time with our guide, Marek. We spent five hours seeing the best of Prague. We met the guide at our hotel and discussed our must see sites. The tour was tailored for us. The company was very easy to communicate with through email. Highly recommend.
It was a great tour with Šárka! She knows everything about Prague, its history and architecture. It was amazing. I highly recommend using Šárka as the Personal Prague Guide. I plan to repeat this tour also with my family and also with my friends. It could be great also for my kids with their schoolmates. Šárkas' guiding is very interesting. And also I remember a lot from our guided tour! 👍
Absolutelly great time spent on tour with Sarka. A lot of interesting information about history, architecture, and mysteries of Prague.
Exciting tour with friends that I have to recommend to everybody who wants to see Prague from more points of view. It was educational and fun in once.
This is an excellent tour! It gives you the full architectural picture and history of Prague especially around the castle area! Take a stroll in the beautiful and luscious gardens of the Prague castle and small palaces surrounding it! My guide Betty was wonderful and really knowledgeable about all the history! She even took the time to show me the less touristy area surrounding the Prague castle and we happened to discover beautiful alleys, which makes it even great for taking pictures! I totally recommend this tour and Betty as the guide! She is the best!
Life, and your trip to Prague, is too short to waste your time on commercial overpriced tour companies that will only show you the McD version of what life has to offer you. Treat yourself to a guide who knows and loves the city and can take you of the standard routes and show you the soul of the city. (And guess what, you still get to see the highlights) On top of that, had some great overall conversations about life, art, philosophy etc. Had a marvelous time in Prague thanks to Sarka! Secret tip: ask her what the acoustics are like in a church, and you will get a private concert.
We had a great 6 hours with Martin, who showed us the most important buildings indicative of Gothic, Baroque, Art Nouveau, Neo Classical, etc. and took us under the City to see 11th century foundations which were built over after a major flood decimated parts of the City in the 12th century. We got to see contemporary art as well, including a wonderful stop at glass blowers par excellent Preciosa's flagship store, where a senior crystal expert explained in great detail the history and the science. Our guide Martin with his organic chemistry background was able to add some interesting facts to the Preciosa ones! We also learned a good deal about local garnet and moldavite, which came in handy at the end of our trip when we invested in fine jewelry.
My 16 year old daughter and I toured with Jana and Personal Prague Guides, and it was clearly the highlight of our trip to magical Prague. Our guide was educated in Prague and France, and very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of the many castles, churches and ancient buildings in this amazing city. Perfectly fluent in English, our guide created a custom itinerary based on our interests, and was perfect in the execution of the tour. We would definitely tour with Jana's team in the future!!!
The tour was very informative and informative, both about the history and architecture of Prague buildings. Betty, the guide, was very knowledgeable and had answers to all our questions. The 3 hours of the tour were full and we moved through the two key areas of the old town.
Had a great time in Prague. Thanks to a very good guide - Lyuba Ballova. The trip was planned in advance. Anyone was contacted and arranged a personalized tour. We were a family of five. They asked me to take into account the nuance that my mom can't walk long without rest. And Luba planned our tour day very well. Everybody was comfortable. Seen all the main sights of Prague in a day. Luba gave us maximum time and attention. She told a lot of interesting facts and stories. And it was all very interesting, easy to take and with a good sense of humor) So the atmosphere of our walk was very pleasant. The price is also great. Luba offered us the average price of a 3-hour tour for the whole day. Thanks again to Lyuba Ballova for having a great time in Prague.
A wonderful time in Prague. Beautiful guide Lyubov Balova, who knows everything and more about Prague. Thank her for the wonderful tour. We can only recommend this beautiful man.
We would like to express our gratitude to Veronica for the guided tours. We took two tours - a road-pedestrian in Prague and a trip to Karlovy Vary. Enjoyed both tours. Veronica is a very knowledgeable and educated guide, adjusting to our possibilities (moving slowly), but during the movement she gave us a lot of interesting information without overloading us with dates. Special thanks for lunch at the brewery on the way back to Prague: it was very delicious and cheap. Veronica answered any questions, not even on the tour. Picked us up from the hotel both times without a problem. The tour of Prague was very interesting, visited all significant places. If you want to know the history of Prague and the surrounding area, do not spend a lot of money and still enjoy the interaction - we recommend to all Veronik Pashkov. If we ever get to visit the Czech Republic again, we'll definitely turn to Veronika. Thank you for your quality work.
