The President

I had a wonderful two-night stay at Hotel President Prague over the weekend, and I really enjoyed the experience. The hotel has a beautiful, elegant atmosphere and a great location, making it very convenient for exploring Prague. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely designed, and the overall service was excellent. The staff were friendly, professional, and welcoming throughout our stay. Everything felt well organized and of a high standard. Overall, it was a really pleasant and relaxing stay, and I would definitely choose Hotel President again when visiting Prague. I guess we started off on the wrong foot here. I arrived early in our check in day and our room wasn't ready. We went to the restaurant to see about breakfast and since we just arrived and hadn't checked in we were told there would be a small charge for breakfast. No prices were listed anywhere and other people kept walking in and eating so we ended up eating a light breakfast. Turns out that small charge was 100 euros. We moved past that and chalked it up to communication break down. That night the room was not very cool and we had to open the window to cool the room down. In the morning the coffee maker in the room was not working right as it would just keep running until it emptied out the reservoir. We mentioned both issues in the morning and were told we could buy coffee in restaurant because our coffee maker was broken. Not a good response. Thankfully the second desk clerk intervened and we got one cup of coffee and were told the maintenance would fix the coffeemaker and AC during the day. Here we are again having to open window to cool down room that night. This AC is set at 65f and fan full and just doesn't cut it. The pool area is really nice but didn't seem to be well staffed, no towels to be found and the drinking water completely empty. For the price of the room we shouldn't have these issues.

I loved everything about this hotel. The room was very classy and nice, the amenities were great. But the staff is what makes it exceptional. Ana at the front desk was amazing and and seemed to be there all day. Karim (food and beverage Manager) went out of his way to know everyone. I saw him working when I went for breakfast at 7am and staying until 1am. Everyone who worked there seemed to genuinely want to make their guests stay the best they could and give great recommendations for whatever you were looking for. 10/10 would love to stay here again.

The entire staff—reception, housekeepers, bellboys, dining room, and bar crew—were all professional and polite. Special thanks to Marketa, the absolute light of the hotel. She was incredibly kind, gave us wonderful recommendations, and solved everything with a smile.The location is fantastic, just 10-15 minutes on foot from the Jewish Quarter, the Astronomical Clock, and other top sites.
