I would like to make a sincere appeal to the hotel to improve the breakfast, as it is simply not up to the standard expected of a 4-star hotel. I visit Prague frequently and already have another trip planned for this autumn. I have not yet chosen where to stay, and I would have selected your hotel again without hesitation if it were not for the disappointment with the breakfast. I sincerely hope you will take this feedback into consideration, as improving the breakfast would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. I look forward to your kind response.

We spent one night at this hotel and everything met our expectations. The room was clean, spacious, and nicely designed. The receptionist was extremely friendly and welcoming, always with a smile. Breakfast was good and satisfying. A great choice for a short stay.
The hotel cancelled our booking just two weeks before Christmas. Although we paid everything and had a written confirmation they did not have us our money back. The Golden Wheel hotel said that they are the new owners since 1 November and they argued that they are not responsible for the old bookings. Be aware: I gave this case to a lawyer because of European Law they are responsible. So my advice is not to book this hotel or at least not to pay upfront.
We stayed here from the 25 to the 29th of August. Firstly the location is fantastic , quick to walk to the castle (and already halfway up the hill!!) but also close to Charles Bridge which takes you to the main city. Located in the Mala strana district which is a lovely area. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby (but avoid the supermarket opposite it was a scam!! , the staff at the hotel can recommend trustworthy ones!). Near tram stops and close to a metro station if you need to use transport however we found it was a perfect hub to explore the city on foot. Breakfast was a good selection of pastery, breads, cakes , fruit, yogurt, cereal, meat and cheese and a few hot options. As a vegeterian I was able to eat a good amount of the items. Also had gluten free bread if you ask if advance which was great. Staff were all welcoming and helpful. The room we had was great , had a working safe and AC which was much appreciated in the heat! Nice big comfortable bed however duvets were quite thin. Lots of storage space and a nice coffee machine. Small TV but not an issue as we spent most of our time exploring the city! There was no do not disturb signs so room service did try to enter one time whilst we were in the room so this would be a good addition! The hotel does have lifts if you struggle with stairs (there is a lot!) Views of the castle from the small glass balcony on the 4th floor were lovely(see photo) (if you can stomach standing on the glass floor!). The hotel let us store or luggage there for a few hours prior to our flight home which was very helpful. Just be aware that on check in we did have to pay an additional ‘tourism tax’ of 16euro roughly per night. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would return if ever back in beautiful Prague!!
This was a lovely find of a hotel - a great location close to the 'castle' (what castle - just a few houses and a big arse church) and this hotel was round the corner from the magic baby jesus doll. Its a lovely hotel in good condition with a decent buffet breakfast, who accommodated to my gluten free vegan wife. The rooms are spacious and we had a balcony!! Nice staff and clean throughout - would stay here again.
