Exceptionally clean, and air conditioned. Lovely breakfast and the staff were very accommodating. 15-20 mins walk to Old Town Square

4-star hotel without 4-star service. Wifi not working, it's really slow and not able to watch YouTube or Netflix. If you want to watch with really low resolution and wait for 30min to play 5min, go for it. There's no telephone service in the room, need to go all the way down to the reception to ask something. They gave a wrong room and asked me to move and it was fine for me to move but if it's a 4-star hotel and it was the mistake on their side, there should be some kind of complimentary (something small like even a bottle of water). It was neat and classic hotel, nice condition except the wifi, and good location.

Air-conditioned rooms, classic breakfast options, staff is polite, bed was really comfortable, rooms could be a bit cleaner (in corners and the occasional cobwebs), had a couple amenities too, I had a room away from the street so was pretty quiet. Would come back again

Where Hotel Opera used to be solid and genuinely hospitable, this is unfortunately no longer the case. The hotel now works with tour operators such as Bolderman. As a result, buses are regularly emptied right in front of the door, these groups are given two hours of all-you-can-eat dining, and during that entire time the hotel’s own bar/restaurant offers no service to its actual hotel guests. They inform you of this without the slightest hesitation. If you eventually do get food and have ordered duck, you’re served lukewarm canned duck with a slice of bacon stuck on top to make it look pink. On top of that, there’s a strong sense of deception surrounding the final bill when you book directly with the hotel. After making a reservation, the night surcharge is charged immediately—yet at checkout they try to charge you the exact same fee again. A nasty trick that many people probably fall for. Be very careful! Although they deny everything at first, they quickly back down once you show proof of payment. You’ll also find no coffee or tea facilities in your room, housekeeping is terrible (they simply shake out the duvet and that’s it), and the air conditioning is switched off even though the rooms are boiling hot due to the sun. In short: once hospitable and reliable, now far below standard. ----------- Later added: It’s actually hilarious to read the hotel’s response, clearly written in blind panic, with no idea how to respond, so they just resort to complete nonsense. It’s quite sad to see how weak they are in their communication as well. Once again, do not visit this hotel. It’s one big scam.
