We stayed in an apartment. It was spacious, clean, and had all the necessary kitchenware for our stay. The apartment was cleaned every day. The buffet breakfast was good—it had everything needed to start the day. I might have liked to see pancakes or crêpes, but that is just my personal opinion.

We stayed at this hotel for a week and a half as a family of five. While there were some positive aspects, our overall experience was disappointing. The biggest issue was the room itself. The windows faced directly onto the hotel's smoking terrace, making it impossible to keep the curtains open without completely sacrificing our privacy. Being told to "just close the curtains" is not an acceptable solution for a stay of this length. We also experienced significant bathroom issues. One shower constantly alternated between hot and cold water throughout every shower, making it extremely uncomfortable to use. Despite repeated complaints during our stay, this problem was never resolved. The second shower had extremely weak water pressure. The hotel's chief maintenance technician told us this was a known issue affecting that plumbing line and could not be fixed. Privacy and a properly functioning shower are basic expectations in any hotel, and unfortunately our room failed to provide either. I would like to recognize the excellent housekeeping staff, who were always kind, professional, and helpful. The breakfast was also excellent, with a great selection of fresh food, and the breakfast team provided friendly and attentive service every morning. Unfortunately, these positive aspects could not make up for the fundamental problems with the room. We repeatedly asked to be moved, but were told the hotel was fully booked. Later in our stay, we were informed that other rooms might become available. However, we were also told in advance that those rooms were on the same plumbing line and therefore had the same weak water pressure, so moving would only have addressed the privacy issue while leaving one of the major problems unresolved. The staff were courteous, but the hotel's response to our concerns was disappointing. Rather than providing an effective solution, we were told to keep the blackout curtains closed for privacy. That is not a reasonable expectation for guests staying for over a week. I hope the management addresses these issues, because privacy and properly functioning bathroom facilities are basic expectations that every guest should be able to rely on.
We had the pleasure of staying here for a week. We chose one of the hotel apartments with a kitchen, and it was absolutely fantastic. The room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable, with the best hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. It was also convenient that the hotel offered a selection of snacks, drinks, and other essentials for purchase. The only downside was the acoustics in the breakfast area. It was quite noisy, which made the atmosphere a little less cozy than it could have been. The breakfast itself was very good, with a nice selection and a few different options each day. The staff did an excellent job of keeping everything well stocked and the dining area clean and tidy. Overall, I can highly recommend this hotel. The excellent room, outstanding staff, good breakfast, and great location made it a wonderful place to stay.
Mamaison Downtown Prague is a pleasant hotel with several positives, but also a few service gaps that affected our stay. Good location. The reception staff were genuinely friendly, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt welcoming. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well laid out, which made a great first impression. However, we were disappointed to learn that room service is only provided for stays longer than four days. Towels are changed on request, but in our case the rubbish wasn’t removed, the room wasn’t swept, and even the beds weren’t made. While I understand not changing linens daily being a eco friendly hotel, returning from a long day out to find the beds untouched and rubbish still in the room was frustrating. Coffee cups were also left uncleaned, and when I asked reception to have them taken care of, the housekeeping staff didn’t seem pleased about the request. These issues took away from the comfort you expect when you’re on holiday. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent, with a good variety and quality that stood out compared to the rest of the experience.
A very good hotel in a quiet neighbourhood, within easy and pleasant walking distance of the city centre. Service is polite and professional. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well soundproofed, allowing for a restful stay. Breakfast is generous and varied; however, the range of olives and, in particular, the selection of bread may be worth noting for guests with dietary preferences or sensitivities. Overall, a comfortable and well-located hotel offering good value. We would be happy to stay here again
