Spa Hotel Liliova Prague Old Town

PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE We booked a spa room for 3 nights, but left as early as we could to another hotel after just one night. (As a side note I can strongly recommend U Medvidku Brewery Hotel where we did go for the remaining 2 nights). Very strong chlorine smell from the open, and also cold, jacuzzi bath, getting on your chest overnight. There is no break/door/wall between the jacuzzi area and the bedroom, and no cover for the jacuzzi. Damp feeling of everything including bedding. Jacuzzi bath started loudly bubbling on its own on the hour every two hours all night - despite being "switched off" throughout the night. There is no one on reception to help overnight, it is completely unmanned. Very small, very high up, non closable window was the only small amount of ventilation in the room but there was no clean air as it was next to where everyone smokes cigarettes - despite the hotel being non smoking Towels smelt like wet dog and were unusable. Noise from a pump room vibrating throughout the room constantly Bathroom is small and there is no room to really put anything or unpack suitcases. Nothing is cosy, it feels like trying to sleep in the swimming baths. Tea/coffee making is in the hall except there were no cups and no coffee. Breakfast very mediocre, cereal was fine but coffee was awful and cooked items looked inedible Complained to reception who said there was nothing they could do and very much gave the impression they had heard it all before Complained to our booking site who attempted to contact the hotel and they ignored them so they also advised there was nothing they could do - we have received no refund for the two additional nights or any communication from the hotel, they don't seem to care. The only good thing was the location but there are so many other places to stay, please do not waste your money here. It is not fun. It is not quirky. It is not romantic. It is not a spa hotel. It is just awful. Unfortunately it will spoil your trip if you book and there will be no one willing to help resolve it. Please take time to read all the other Google reviews (which we did not)

Unfortunately, my stay was quite disappointing. The hotel room was not as clean as I expected and had a strange odor when I arrived. There was noticeable dust throughout the room, and the carpet was dirty. The bathroom also had several issues. There was no shower curtain, so taking a shower caused the entire bathroom floor to get wet. On top of that, the shower head was broken and did not function properly. Overall, the room and bathroom clearly needed better cleaning and maintenance. The only positive thing I can say about this place is the location. it is right in the heart of Prague, which makes it convenient for exploring the city.

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of customer care and flexibility shown by this hotel. Due to an unexpected train cancellation by the carrier, I was physically unable to arrive on my booked dates — a situation completely beyond my control. I contacted the hotel immediately to explain the force majeure and requested to either reschedule the booking for another date or receive a refund. Despite having plenty of vacant rooms available, the management flatly refused to cooperate on both counts, choosing instead to keep my money for a service I never received. It is clear that this hotel prioritizes short-term profit over guest satisfaction and basic human decency. A good hotel shows understanding in unforeseen circumstances, but this place demonstrated zero loyalty. I strongly advise booking elsewhere if you want peace of mind.

Stayed here for my first solo trip abroad, couldn’t have asked for anything better for the price! The staff was very friendly and welcoming, I’ve seen bad reviews about bedbugs, the beds were very clean. The location was absolutely perfect! You’ve got a cracking Irish pub “O’ches” to the left of the hotel, would recommend!
