We booked this hotel based on reviews from previous guests and on the location. If you want to be in Old Town Prague this is the closest you’re going to get! There is an amazing Irish Pub a few steps away with great food and live music, the Old Town Square is a short few minutes walk away and easily accessible for all the main sights. That being said, due to the location it is quite loud if your stay is on a weekend night. We were on the first floor in suite #11, so this could impact how loud it is but if you are ok sleeping with the air conditioning fan on it definitely helps cancel the street noise. Which brings us to the air conditioning, it does not work in suite #11 - this didn’t affect our stay as temps were not high but during peak summer heat this might be a deal breaker. We tried having it set to 22, 19 and the last night we put it at 15 just to try and see what would happen. At no point did it make a difference, it was just blowing room temp air around. The other issue we had with our suite was the size of the shower, you have to turn off the water in order to lather your body as you cannot escape the water. If you are an athletic/muscular or curvy/large build you are going to touch all sides of the shower enclosure which is a cause for concern. It would be very helpful if the amenities included a shower cap as you can’t help but get your hair wet with the rainfall style shower. We cannot speak for housekeeping as we did not use their services for our 4 night stay, but on check out day we were just closing up our suitcases ready to leave and they entered our room without knocking at 10am on the dot. We do understand that check out is 10am so we were ready, but they still should knock just incase. We would stay here again, and would recommend it for future visitors. Amenities I would recommend for the hotel to provide: small face cloth sized towels, disposable shower caps, better toiletries (separate shampoo/bodywash, body lotion), disposable slippers for guests, full length mirror, refill coffee station daily.

Great location - close to everything and very walkable. We weren’t able to check-in early but was able to drop off our luggage at the main reception which was about a 2 min walk from Aurus. Our room was massive and very comfortable. On the last day we were able to get a late checkout which was so helpful since our departure wasn’t until later in the day. Also, go to the Fat Cat! Great food and staff was very friendly!
I booked the hotel via Booking.com and we thought there would be a reception within the hotel. While arriving you had to have a pin code that was supposed to be sent, since we booked this on our train to prague we did not receive a pin code. Customer service was Quick to get in touch with and they sent us a link. To register took about 20 minutes. I would have preferred if there was transparent information regarding your check in situation and no reception, since we arrived late and rather tired. Rooms were okay and the location was great.
Excellent location - easy to walk everywhere! Very comfortable beds, clean and spacious, no noise from traffic or outside. Good information on sustainability (bedding and towel changes). Suggested areas of improvement: - all room doors and entrance doors should have a quiet close fitted - we were unlucky in having inconsiderate guests as neighbours who slammed doors A LOT! Installing soft close on all doors would certainly help enjoying slow mornings during our vacation - refill the coffee bar every day - or include clear information that we are offered one cup of coffee per day. - seeing that there is no reception, we have sent a couple of messages with questions about our stay (ex.: early check in possibility) but have not received any response. There was info about reaching out to the hotel via WhatsApp but the number given was not available.
The hotel has an excellent location, very close to attractions, restaurants, and shops, making it very convenient to explore the area on foot. It also offers a spacious and comfortable layout, which makes the stay pleasant. The bed and bathroom were clean, which is always appreciated. However, some elements of the room need attention. The sofa cushions, bedspread, and carpets appear worn, with stains and visible signs of use, which affects the overall impression of the room. We also noticed that the room temperature in March felt quite warm. As a suggestion, replacing or thoroughly cleaning the room textiles (cushions, bedspread, and carpets) and improving temperature control would greatly enhance the guest experience, especially considering the hotel’s great potential due to its location and spaciousness.
