Everything was perfect, from the front desk staff to the rooms. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of dishes, and the hotel's location is right in the heart of the city. We will definitely be back!

⭐ WARNING: If you want to sleep, do NOT book a room at this hotel. Absolutely unacceptable experience. It is currently 3 AM and the square outside the hotel is still extremely loud. People are shouting, screaming and making noise directly below the windows, with absolutely no indication that it is going to stop anytime soon. I called reception expecting some kind of assistance. Instead, I was told that the noise can continue until 6 AM — or even later. Even more shocking, the hotel apparently KNOWS that rooms facing the central square have this problem, yet there was absolutely no warning about it when booking. No alternative room was offered. No solution was suggested. I was basically told that this is simply how it is. If management is fully aware that guests staying in certain rooms may be unable to sleep for the entire night, this information should be clearly disclosed BEFORE people pay for those rooms. A hotel room is supposed to provide a place to rest and sleep — that is the absolute minimum a guest should be able to expect. I have travelled extensively and stayed in hotels in many countries, and I have never experienced anything quite like this. Being told at 3 AM that the screaming outside may continue past 6 AM, without being offered any solution, is unbelievable. If you are arriving tired, travelling for business, have an early morning, or simply expect to sleep at night, think very carefully before booking this hotel — and absolutely avoid any room facing the square. I would never have booked this room if the hotel had honestly disclosed the nighttime noise situation in advance. A terrible and exhausting experience.
We stayed at your hotel for three nights, from July 20 to 22. As this is a five-star hotel, we had high expectations. Unfortunately, after our stay, we did not feel that the experience lived up to the standards of a five-star hotel. I would like to rate the following aspects separately: Service ⭐️ The male staff member at the entrance of the breakfast restaurant had an extremely poor attitude. On the first day, when we arrived at the restaurant entrance, the staff member appeared to be absorbed in his phone. However, I felt that he was deliberately ignoring us. We stood there for a while, but he completely ignored our presence. We assumed that we did not need to provide our room number, so my companion and I proceeded to enter the restaurant. At that point, he stopped us and asked for our room number. I told him, “Room two fifty,” and only then did he allow us to enter. The situation was similar on the second day. Once again, his facial expression was consistently unpleasant, and he gave us the impression that he was unhappy to be serving guests. On the third day, he was no longer using his phone. When I told him, “Room two fifty,” he repeatedly pretended not to understand and kept asking whether I meant “fifty” or “fifteen.” He repeated this several times, with a dismissive and unpleasant attitude. Eventually, I said, “Room two five zero,” and only then did he let us enter. I am not sure whether this was simply an issue with this particular staff member’s attitude or whether it reflects inadequate staff training at the hotel. Either way, this experience was extremely disappointing, especially for a hotel that presents itself as a five-star property. Location ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The location is excellent. The hotel is close to the Astronomical Clock Tower and local markets, making sightseeing and shopping very convenient. Accommodation Quality ⭐️⭐️ Unfortunately, the hotel is located next to a casino, and because our room was on a lower floor, we were constantly disturbed by noise from the casino and its surroundings. This significantly affected the quality of our stay and made it difficult to enjoy the peaceful accommodation experience we had expected from a five-star hotel.
Great location and size, but lacks 5-star service and clarity The pros: First and foremost, the location is unbeatable, situated right in the heart of Prague, making exploring the city highly efficient. The room and the bed were impressively spacious, providing great physical comfort. The hotel as a whole is very well-maintained and in very good condition. The breakfast selection, generally speaking, was very good with plenty of solid options. The cons: Outdated aesthetics: while the hotel is well-preserved, the decor is heavily stuck in the 1980s, featuring an overload of velvet that feels quite dated and old-fashioned. Breakfast logistics & assortment issues: despite a good overall selection, the juices served at breakfast were clearly industrial. Furthermore, the dining room has a major capacity issue—depending on the time you go, there simply are not enough tables to accommodate all guests. Obscure minibar policy: the minibar is kept locked inside a cabinet. To use it, you must physically request a key from the reception, and the pricing rules for the items are completely unclear. Confusing and unprofessional service (late check-out): front desk communication was somehow frustrating. We wanted to arrange a late check-out, but staff kept pushing the answer off, telling us to check again on our actual departure day. The pricing for late check-out was not transparent, with rates varying depending on which employee you spoke to, and the policy regarding the actual departure hours felt totally obscure and seemingly dependent on the goodwill of whoever was working. Flawed check-In & bathroom mechanics: The hotel restricts check-in hours, a policy that is not made clear anywhere prior to arrival. Additionally, the bathroom lacks a proper overhead shower and doesn't even have a wall mount for the hand-held shower head—forcing you to hold it yourself while standing in a tub. This design is impractical, particularly since many modern travelers naturally prefer the hygiene and ease of a standard walk-in shower over being forced to use a hotel bathtub. Such a setup is unacceptable for a property claiming a 5-star status. Air conditioning uncertainty: our room was equipped with a portable air conditioning unit, which was necessary as summer in Prague was genuinely hot. However, reading through other guest comments, the availability of AC is apparently not guaranteed for all rooms, which is a major gamble in the summer. Aggressive monetization and petty bans: the hotel seems to exploit every single subterfuge to nickel-and-dime its guests. Complimentary water is nonexistent; instead, mineral water is sold via a vending machine in the hallway for an exorbitant price—the equivalent of over €3 for a small 500ml bottle. Furthermore, the hotel strictly bans the use of electric kettles or water heaters in the rooms, nor do they provide them, completely preventing guests from making a simple cup of tea or coffee unless they pay extra. Conclusion-a solid hotel in terms of infrastructure, maintenance, and location, but severely held back by confusing, non-transparent management policies and outdated service standards that do not reflect a true 5-star experience.
