Tour Between Lisbon - Porto Or Porto-lisbon With Several Stops

Wonderful stops and insights on our journey from Lisbon to Porto. Nunu was Exceptional! Highly recommend

I was not sure about spending this much money to get from Lisbon to Porto, but it was well worth it. We stopped in Obidos, Coimbra and Aveiro and they were all fabulous towns and very different from each other. Luis knew each town very well and made sure to cover them all, but we never felt rushed. And his car was incredibly comfortable. It was an amazing day trip that also managed to move us between cities.

My group of 5 ladies did 2 tours with Filipe. He took us from Braga to the Douro Valley with a stop in Amarante and a tour from Pinhao to Nazare with a stop in Tomar. He was kind, professional, knowledgeable everything else in between. He even sent us pictures after we returned home. We enjoyed every minute with him!! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic trip! We were tired from getting off our transatlantic flight, but Natalia made our tour fun. She listened to us when we asked to mix up the order of our visit, and we loved the places we visited. The castle and the Cathedral at St Jeronimo’s monastery were our favorites. Fun to visit Sintra the next day and refer back to our TukTuk tour of Lisbon knowledge.

Nuno was fantastic! Very engaging guide and driver who was 100% flexible on time and itinerary to whatever we wanted. Nuno provided great narratives, suggestions, focused on a great experience and a safe, all day journey. Nuno often pointed at his wrist (he did not wear a watch) and said, "Remember, there's no schedule. So we can go anyplace you want." Great full day from Lisbon to Porto with many stops along the way.

Cristina was great. Very professional and punctual. We saw some interesting sights along the way, which broke-up the trip nicely. I would definitely do it again!

This was a cool way to see more of Portugal than we would have otherwise. Our driver was Francisco, he was very nice and took us to some popular spots along with less touristy spots (Aviero, Costa Nova, Combria, Batalha, Obidos). We appreciated that he took us off the beaten path but it felt more like we just had a private driver that made multiple stops. It was not a guided tour (like when a guide is telling you the historyof a building or explaining the location you're in), he offered some facts but it was mostly a silent day-long car ride and we were given time to explore each destination on our own while he waited. Again, he was very nice and I loved the unique spots he took us to, but for the cost I was expecting a more guided experience like I've had with other tours. If you prefer a silent drive and to explore on your own then I think this experience would work for you, but if you are expecting a true private tour guide that will spend the day talking about Portugal this might not be it.

Cristina was such a wonderful guide and driver. We loved our day with her traveling from Porto to Lisbon. We originally were going to take a train until we read a review about hiring a guide/driver. It was such a stress free, amazing experience being picked up at our hotel in Porto and being dropped off at off our hotel in Lisbon. We made three stops along the way in Aviero, Nazare and Obidos. We had a beautiful boat ride in Aviero with a guide who told us the town's history and he had such a great sense of humor. The town of Nazare was gorgeous and we had the most delicious lunch at a local seafood restaurant. We were happy that Cristina agreed to join us for lunch. Our final stop along the way was Obidos and I feel like we went back in time to this beautiful town. We would highly recommend! Thank you Cristina for making it such an incredible day!

We had a wonderful trip with Christina! She provided a very relaxing and enjoyable transfer from Lisbon to Porto. We stopped at three small towns. She was very kind, accommodating, and informative. We enjoyed her company and appreciated her hard work and making our trip so pleasant.! Lunch was delicious. We would definitely recommend Christina.

Fabio was our driver and provided us with a great experience on our drive from Porto to Lisbon. We initially wanted to stop only in Nazare and Obidos on the way; however, he suggested a few other places to stop that allowed us to see more of the beautiful places along the way. He shared interesting information and sights about Portugal. He even provided us with the 'must sees" for when we return to Portugal. Fabio was personable and friendly. He treated us more like friends than customers. We very much enjoyed our ride with him.

Felipe provided us with a safe, friendly, warm, educational transfer from Porto to Lisbon. We stopped at 4 different locations…Costa Nova, Aveiro, Nazare and Obidos. All great scenic, captivating areas. Aviero is a Venice of Portugal, where we did a 45 minute fun gondola ride. The area is very Newvo Artsy. He suggested the perfect low key restaurant in Nazare a beach area known for their surfing, where we had the best Green Wine and Sea Bream fish. Obidos was a charming village surrounded by a stone castle wall where we had cherry in a chocolate cup. Thank you Felipe for a truly wonderful experience.

Filipe was an excellent guide & driver. He discussed my interests which was the coast and surf beaches. We agreed on the cities I wanted to visit and was very impressed with his knowledge and enthusiasm. He allowed me to spend much time at each site without stress. My highlight was Nazare where we ate at the local restaurant and then saw the spectacular site of the big waves! The swell was not huge but the 3m shore break was powerful and the wash up onto the beach caused the life guards to move people back. This trip was the best way to see these sites and also transfer my luggage from Lisboa to Porto. I would highly recommend this tour.

Super efficient, safe & comfortable ride. Eugenio took excellent care of us & our belongings all the way. We had about an hour to ourselves to explore at each stop in Coimbra, Nazare & Obidos. We’d rate this as the smoothest door to door transfer from Porto to Lisbon. Highly recommend.

My wife and I decided to make the trip from Lisbon to Porto an excursion and it was a great decision. Eugenio picked us up at our hotel in Lisbon promptly on the scheduled date and time. The drive gave us the opportunity to enjoy time in Obidos, Nazare and Aveiro. Eugenio was great, sharing history, local culture and general conversation making the trip to our Porto hotel very enjoyable. Much better than having to deal with the train while carrying suitcases. I highly recommend this service.

Great trip, Felipe was extraordinarily knowledgeable, took us to two sites we picked and he chose the third for us. We initialy wanted to see Obidos but he warned that there was a busy festival that day and offered to take us to see another small town. took us to a small restaurant in Tomar for a great lunch. Since his price was much lower than tour companies, I would strongly recommend for a couple. For the price we got hotel to hotel transportation, 4 stops, great conversation. The car was a mid sized Opel wagon, plenty of room for two and our luggage, but small enough to get through these tiny passages in town.

Never would have experienced “little Venice” in Aveiro nor gotten to Fátima. Both places were unique in their own ways. But going to Fátima was on the bucket list! So happy to not miss this spiritual landmark.

We didn't know what to expect since we never took that type of private transfert/tour before. We chose this one based on value and possibility to choose the cities for the stops. We went quite mainstream with pretty classical stops (Óbidos, Nazaré and Coimbra) but I understand Philipe has hidden gems to propose if you wish. Philipe guided us through the three locations we chose, we stayed about one hour in each location, no rush, we had all the time we needed. We even had an extra stop which was totally worth it. We stopped for lunch and paid for the three of us, I understand this was expected (we tried suckling pig, which was ok I guess but it will be a one time deal for us). We left Lisbon at 9 am and arrived in Porto around 7 pm. Overall a great day, a bit intimidating concept at first but we eventually felt more at ease. Thanks Philipe!

Our tour guide Filipe Martins was absolutely exceptional! He was professional, courteous, focused on our interests, great guide and so knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this wonderful tour!!

Filipe arrived on time at 9am and we arrived in Porto at 7pm. Car was nice and clean with room for our luggage. Communications were great through the entire process. We went to several places and Filipe stayed with us the entire time as both a driver and a guide. He took us to eat suckling pig which my husband liked and I did not but it was great experience. I paid for the lunch for 3 of us and it was 70 euros. He also has a fish place that you can select. We had a great time and he was an excellent guide. The only recommendation would be to skip the town with the boat ride. Boat ride was not worth it and was very touristy. The town was not that great compared to the others. It was more of a modern town than the other towns visited. The name of the boat town started with an A. Otherwise, it was great tour and a nice way to travel between Porto and Lisbon. Highly recommend!

Tour was fantastic. Paulo was simply wonderful. If we had just taken train to Porto would have missed seeing the wonderful sights of Obidos and Nazare and meeting Paulo. Lunch was great. Cannot fault this tour. Exceeded our expectations.

Filipe is an excellent guide. Our private tour was exceptional. On top of his stellar tour skills - he is also a top notch photographer. We visited many.hidden areas between Porto and Lisbon. No tourist crowds. Amazing ruins and castles. I would highly recommend Filipe for tours. I wish we booked him for a wine tour in the Duoro valley as his wine knowledge is broad. Wonderful day and thank you Filipe, for making our day so special.

It was great that we could stop off and spend some time along the way on our trip from Porto to Sintra. We really enjoyed seeing Nazare. We could not have done this in one day if we had used public transport and it added to our experience that our guide could share his personal experience of Nazare with us. It was also very convenient that our guide/driver could drop us right at our accommodation in Sintra, rather than us having to travel from Lisbon by train ourselves.

I highly recommend this tour and guide. We had thought about flying or taking the train from Lisbon to Porto. So glad we found this tour instead!! We loved seeing and learning about Óbidos, Nazaré, and Coimbra. We had a delicious meal on the way, too. Our guide was personable and open to what we wanted to see and do.

We had a great trip with Filipe. We stopped at three towns. Filipe taught us about Portugal and about each of the cities and guided us around. He chose an excellent fish restaurant for lunch along our route. He didn’t rush us and let us spend as much time as we wanted at each stop. His driving was excellent and safe. Filipe makes the trip by car very entertaining and a great experience . He know all the little hidden places where to go, what to see. We love the freedom to decide when to leave or to stay a little bit longer. Over all he has a great vibe and you will enjoy the drive.

The day was packed full of information and amazing sights. Filipe was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about Portugal history and present times. We stopped at Coimbra, Nazare and Obidos. Each stop gave a totally unique experience. The suckling pig lunch was amazing. It was a long day and even though it’s not cheap it was well worth the time and cost for what was an unforgettable experience.

Philippe was a professional road companion that made the journey both insightful and fun. He planned several historically significant stops to break up the journey and add to both our enrichment and enjoyment.

Filipe arrived early and picked us up at the hotel. The travel from Lisboa to Porto went very smoothly and was a wonderful way to see the countryside along the way. We saw three villages and our driver never seemed hurried. He took his time explaining the sites and history along the way. We had a nice lunch in Coimbra and a walk around the University. I would definitely recommend this option if you're traveling to one of these cities!
