If you would like to try surfing or improve your skills on it, this is your experience. I will take you for a ride around , searching the best conditions for your level in the area of Porto. This experience starts with pick up in our meeting point . Than i will take you to the place with the best conditions, to make this experience memorable, giving all the feedback and tips so you can improve your skills. As last we will drop you off where we picked you up. Before we start the experience we will need your height and weight to know the size of the wetsuits. * The surfing spot can be changed considering the conditions.
Great experience and great instructor. By the end of the class, everyone in our small group had stood up on their board. Everything you need was included - transport to the beach, wetsuit, board. Highly recommend for beginners!

Joined the lesson with my partner - we had an absolute blast!! I’d never surfed before and was nervous about it, but our instructor was very patient & encouraging and helped me choose the “little” waves - it actually ended up being really fun! Would definitely come back again 👍
A fantastic experience, with a great instructor who were both funny and patience. A nice beginner beach with both small and few medium waves for those who are fast learners. A very easy to talk to guide who helps you all the way, and it didnt feel to overwhelming with a small group of 8, there was plenty time for everybody (it was very exhausting). Overall perfect for beginner surfers and sports enthusiasts.
Absolutely brilliant - superb instruction, fun, beautiful beach and nice kit… take a towel to change as it’s “rustic” at the beach but the experience was utterly brilliant. Our instructor Egor was superb, we had such a lot of fun and laughs - and everyone got up on the board and surfing by the end of the session!

Had a great experience surfing in Porto! Picked us up and had boards and wetsuits ready for us, then we surfed for an hour or two. I’ve been surfing before so it was nice to get out there again and get a few pointers from my instructor, who was super nice.
I first booked surf lessons for my daughter and never imagined I’d be brave enough to try it myself. But while watching her, I felt inspired and confident, and decided to join — best decision ever!!! Bernardo and Catarina were incredible instructors, super friendly, and made everything so much fun. We had an amazing time! I totally recommend them — my daughter and I will definitely be back soon! 🌊🏄♀️☀️
It was a really nice surfing lesson. They drove us to a great location south of Porto and were instructing how to surf all the time.
Our teacher was very good and friendly. My girlfriend looked very cool, which surprised me. I thought she was a bit of a LOSERRRR, but nah she’s actually quite cool

We had a fantastic time! Igor was a great instructor. I had tried surfing one time in the past (in the US) and had a very frustrating time. When Igor's instruction, I was able to stand my very 1st attempt! He gave great feedback and was very supportive of all students in our group. This experience exceeded my expectations!

Had a great time surfing with Bernardo. He stayed in the water the whole time supporting us. I went solo and met other solo travellers and couples/friends. I’d definitely recommend this for beginners. If you are more experienced you will still enjoy being out in the surf. The waves were huge!

This was such a fun experience! Egor, our surf instructor went above and beyond to make sure this was an amazing experience. Despite my initial fear and lack of strong swimming skills, Egor made me feel incredibly safe and confident in the water. He was patience and provided clear instructions on how to get up on a board and ride a wave. I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to surfing and highly recommend booking this activity!

The school with individual attention for every student. I have newer surfed before. Instructors explained everything and corrected my moves kindly. So I could ride my first wave! Thank you guys!
I have classes with Pura Vida school for already 8 months and I'm already obsessed by surfing. I tried another school before and I could say that I like surf with Bernardo or Jorge much more. Yet, almost every session I could discover or learn something new about surfing: about surfing techniques, about ocean and just some good surfer's behaviour ^_^ Every session is also very enjoyable. Trainers take care about exact time and place for every training. So you could be sure that you would visit the best place in Porto district for this particular session and would have guidance for surfing at these particular circumstances. With that it has awesome price for training (renting all the gear is included!), especially when you start surfing every week and get a discount for pack of classes.
When i started i couldnt stand up on the board! Now i can complete and turn on the waves ! Bernardo teach me a lot of position in the sea, it was very important for my evolution process

Nice instructors. One of them is a but harsh but doesn’t mean it like that. Lost a lot of time getting ready with the swimsuits and boards because of lack of structure /communication. from the team but still got 2 hours in the water which was great. Good teaching method. No rush.

Pick up location was very convenient in the centre of Porto. Surfing instructor was very friendly and in no time our small group was in the water having great time. The instructor even facilitated our group to enjoy a beer after the lesson finished. Highly recommended.
Great time out! Me and my partner were picked up central location, we had a smooth ride in the surf mini bus. Everything was provided in a good way. We chatted away the ride there and back, even got some recommendations about where to eat and drink afterwards. My partner is a beginner so we were taken to a good location for her first time, and she was getting up on her feet in no time. I got a few of the foundations installed again after having a few years out. Relaxed and safe experience. Thanks for having us. 5 Stars!
If you want to surf and have a really good time, this is the way to follow! Everyone was really helpfull and with a such a good vibe making it unforgettable! The picking was just on time and every detail about the area was precise and helpful for knowing more about surf at North of Portugal.
The transportation at Porto city center was super easy. They pick us up and we drove until Espinho. Really nice neighboorhood with really nice beaches, far from the crowd and with amazing waves to start. The surf was super fun and safe. I Recommend it

Fantastic experience, we went in three, started in van from Porto and landed in a lovely place where you can surf. Although none of us had experience we had a great time, and in a spectacular place.

Incredible experience, never had taken a surf class and Bernardo was the right choice for such. I was able to surf my first waves thanks to the dedication and dedication of the instructor. The fact that the class is for a small group of people is a differential, where each student has the proper attention to reach their goals.
