Private Sunset & Night Douro Cruise In Porto

Susana and Sergio are the best! The sunset cruise was the perfect romantic experience for two. Everything was great, from the beautiful charcuterie board to the soft music playing as we watched the sun dip bow the horizon. And Susana is a wealth of knowledge about Porto/Portugal. Highly recommend.

Suzanne and Sergio were excellent hosts, very private cruise w just the sounds of water and wind, an excellent tray of cheeses and meats, good Verda wine, port at end-Suzanne had excellent knowledge of the bridges, all the way out to the lighthouse at the oceanfront, they lingered among to Porto city lights beyond time of cruise, first class experience!!!!!

Susana and Sergio were great hosts! We had a lovely sunset cruise. The weather was gorgeous as was the scenery. The ride was smooth. Wine and a great cheese platter were served. Sunset at the ocean was wonderful, and the city after dark was beautiful!!

Susana and Sergio are wonderful, knowledgeable hosts! Susana answered our endless questions and prepared a delicious charcuterie board with wine and Port, plus non-alcoholic options like juice and water. The boat was cozy and comfortable. We took a 5:30 boat ride, watched the sunset, and then enjoyed the lights of Porto and Gaia at night. I took 1,000 pics - the views and different lighting from day to night was beautiful. Highly recommend! My husband especially enjoyed the boat ride because he knew I wasn’t going to make him trudge uphill for at least two hours. (Ha!) A wonderful, relaxing boat ride after a busy day of sightseeing. Orbrigado, Susana and Sergio!

Highly recommend getting a tour from Susana and her husband! Susana gave us a clear explanation of the region and all the stuff to see along the riverbank. The view was amazing and even though there were clouds, they made sure the sunset was amazing. The little addons are definitely a plus.

Susana and her husband Sergio met us at the Marina early evening and we made our way up the Douro for the sunset. Seeing all the other boats on the river was lovely too and the atmosphere was great. It had been a beautiful day and the sky was clear. We enjoyed tapas and fizz on the boat. As we approached the sea the sun went down, it was amazing! We turned for home and all the lights in Porto were coming on. The bridges were beautifully lit. Would highly recommend. A wonderful memory of our time in this lovely city.

Highlight of our time in Porto. Sergio and Susanna clearly share what they love and have created. The sunset and the city at night was spectacular! They kept the boat calm, had wonderful music playing, and even brought 2 n/a beers for my partner who doesn’t drink. The port and cheese plate was delicious. My partner and I had the most romantic time laying on the padded bow and seeing the sights!

Susana and Sergio were outstanding hosts. We were greeted at the entrance to the marina and led down to the boat. Susana took the time to tell us about the city of Porto and point out some interesting things as we cruised along. It was perfectly timed so that we reached the Atlantic just as the sun was setting. We were fed a nice tray of snacks as well as some wine and Porto. (Food allergies were taken into consideration). On the return, it was dark, so the lights of the city on both sides were beautiful. It was a very romantic experience. I booked this cruise for just my partner and I to propose to her in front of a beautiful sunset in a special moment. Susana was a big help for me. She arranged a bouquet of flowers, played the special song that I had and even snapped a few pictures for us to really capture the moment. I would recommend this experience to anyone!

Susana and Sergio were lovely! Susana was knowledgeable about the various buildings we sailed by and was very patient with my thousand questions :) Sergio has custom-built several accessories on the boat to make the ride more comfortable - a drink holder, a charcuterie tray, etc. They even changed their usual charcuterie menu to account for my food allergies. We highly recommend them!

This was easily the highlight of our trip to Porto. The hosts were so attentive to our needs, providing drinks, snacks, blankets, everything to make sure we are comfortable. There are 6 seats total on the boat (3 in the front, 3 in the back), so while you can have up to 6 people, I would say it's ideal for 2 or 3 people, because the front view is the best (you can lay down, it was a new experience for me to ride a boat virtually on a bed). The ride itself was amazing, going under all the bridges, culminating in an amazing sunset view on the ocean, then going back into the nightlights of Porto, seeing everything from a different perspective. Highly recommend this activity, do not hesitate to book, it will create some amazing memories!

We went out with Susana and her husband (Captain) earlier this week and had an awesome time! We spent 2 hours cruising up and down the Duoro River while Susana pointed out sights along the river. We went under all the Porto bridges! She also provided us with our choice of adult beverages and a nice plate of crackers, local cheese, nuts, and grapes. It was a great experience at a reasonable price for a private tour! Highly recommend going out with SSAMAZINGDUORO in Porto!

Can’t say enough about the wonderful experience thanks to Susana and Sergio. I actually proposed to my fiancé on the tour, and they were very flexible, allowing me to bring a photographer on board and working with them to figure out the best route and timing for me to ask the big question. Their attention to detail and happiness to be part of our special moment truly made it an unforgettable experience for us. My fiancé told me “Even if you hadn’t decided to propose on the tour, this was still a really good choice”. Susana gives you great information about the bridges and city sights to add more context. They make sure your champagne glasses are full and have plenty of snacks to keep you full. Getting to sit on the front of the boat allows great unobstructed views and even though it can get windy they thought of this and have blankets to keep you warm. Overall, if you’re looking for an intimate experience with that special someone or a small group this is the tour for you. You find some cheaper options out there, but this tour was one of kind and very much worth the price

A beautiful sunset tour with the most lovely host. Highly recommend this sunset cruise. Soft waves with splendid views of the sun setting better the ocean.

My girlfriend and I had an AMAZING time onboard Susana and her husband private boat. We were promptly met just before our starting time at 7pm and headed leisurely out to the mouth of the Duero river toward the Atlantic and sunset. We were provided with a tasty plate of fruit, nuts, sandwich bites, and home made pastries along with our choice of sparkling or rose wine. For sunset, we ventured to the front of the boat where were able to lay down on a cushion with a cushion backrest. From there, we watched the phenomenal sunset in a very romantic, private moment. Off the charts!! We stayed on the front of the boat for the rest of the tour as we turned around to take in the dazzling lights of Porto and Gaia river fronts. WOW!! Spectacular !! All in all, it was a bit more than 2 hours, very romantic and private. I highly recommend this tour!!

Fantastic tour!!! Boat was comfortable, beautiful and very clean. The views were absolutely incredible! Sergio and Susana were beyond fantastic and went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time. Their kindness will always be remembered. We had an excellent time on this private tour. It was beautiful to view Porto and Gaia from the river. We were on the river during the day and into the night for sunset, so we viewed two different perspectives of the cities. Our hosts provided a lovely charcuterie board and drinks. They were very friendly and comfortable. The tour was also available in English. My husband and I, and our young daughter had a great time and would recommend this tour.

Beautiful boat tour with courteous and cordial organizers. They took a lot of time, fed us with snacks and you noticed that they themselves had joy and interest. A real recommendation when visiting porto.
