Ramon was so personable! Easy to get to know and had interesting information about each stop along the way. If you are looking to escape from the “busyness” of Porto city, this is the tour for you. Easy riding on comfortable e-bikes! Lovely ride along the Douro and also along the Atlantic. A big plus was we had a picture perfect day!

Itinerary
The picturesque Miragaia district is known for its cobbled streets lined with villas and small restaurants serving typical Portuguese dishes.
Its construction implied the construction of the huge platform of the pier where the Customs is based and which replaced the old Miragaia beach. This set of modifications is considered by many to be one of the most profound urban and landscape changes of the city of Porto in the 19th century.
The Porto Tram Museum (Museu do Carro Eléctrico) was inaugurated in 1992 and is installed in a former thermoelectric power station next to the River Douro in Massarelos, it exhibits material related to the history of trams in Porto.
Arrábida Bridge is an arched bridge over the Douro River that connects Porto (by Arrábida area) to Vila Nova de Gaia (by Candal node), in Portugal. At the time of its construction in 1963, the bridge had the largest reinforced concrete arch of any bridge in the world.
The place owes its name to a time when there existed for many fountains that brought the people fetch water with their pitchers. Always an area of riverside fishermen, still maintains the tradition of harbor for shelter small boats and storage of fishing gear, which harmonize with the beautiful riverside landscape, where you can see the Afurada and Cabedelo, on the other side, between with the long run from the Douro to the mouth.
The Jardim do Passeio Alegre is a garden in the parish of Foz do Douro in Porto, Portugal. The area of Passeio Alegre is classified as a Property of Public Interest. The garden has in its surroundings or near several monuments and heritage classified
São João Baptista da Foz Fortress, also known as São João da Foz Castle, is located in the parish of Foz do Douro. It stands in a dominant position on the Douro river bar, providing river access to the city of Porto.
Felgueiras Lighthouse on the right bank of the Douro River, is a Portuguese lighthouse located at the tip of the pier of the same name, in the parish of Foz do Douro.
In one of the noble areas of the city of Porto, Praia da Foz is a designation that covers the set formed by the beaches of Ourigo, Ingleses and Luz.
Built in the 17th century to protect the coast from the pirates of North Africa, it is located on a cheese-shaped rocky hill, thus obtaining the name Castelo do Queijo (Cheese Castle).
The Praia de Matosinhos is the largest beach with an easy access from central Porto. The beach offers a wide expanse of golden sands and waves that are suitable for surfing,
Porto City Park, designed by landscape architect Sidónio Pardal, is the largest urban park in the country, covering a total of 83 hectares and about 10 km of paths. The park is a sophisticated architectural landscape, with lakes, flora and fauna, integrated into the city fabric.
Pasteleira Urban Park is a public park located in the parish of Lordelo do Ouro. It extends over an extensive area of forest, divided into two plots by Afonso de Paiva Street, connected by three wooden pontoons.
Small garden space that is almost at the mouth of the Douro River. It offers magnificent views of the river and it stands out in the tall black poplars, asi.
Located right in the historic center of Porto, Praça da Ribeira, next to the quay with the same name, is one of the oldest squares in the city, already mentioned in royal letters in 1389. It was in this area of Ribeira and in its commercial connection with the Douro River that the city began its frank development and turned to the river. This led to the infamous Ponte das Barcas, where in 1809 more than 4,000 people died during an onslaught of French troops. Today a bronze bas-relief attests to this moment.
The real name of this bridge is Luiz I and not, as it is popularly called, D. Luís I. A sentimental question of the people of Porto seems to be the origin of the name by which it is commonly known. Regardless of the name, it is an ex-libris of the city and has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996.

This was the highlight of our trip to Porto! Pedro was an exceptional guide who was both informative and also tailored the tour to our specific needs. Highly recommend this tour. Thank you so much Pedro. We will always remember the beauty of Porto’s coast, interesting historical facts and our first time on e-bikes!!
Great way to spend a morning with a bit of exercise some learning about Porto.the Rio Douro and a lot of fun with the excellent multi lingual Miguel our guide and guru. Obrigado
Our bike tour around Porto was great! My kids and I had our own guide and rode through various areas of Porto. The e-bikes were easy to use and provided the extra boost up the Porto hills when needed. Our tour guide gave us good information during the multiple stops of the tour. Used every minute of the 3 hours!
Our guide Miguel was great . His passion is biking and he was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited.best bit of tour was through the large park at the beach area.Lovely cycling through the trees and seeing friendly geese being fed by local kids.In Scotland geese are usually quite vicious! First time on an e-bike and they were easy to ride .
This was a great tour to see the less travelled areas of Porto all the way to the Atlantic Very scenic Our guide Javier was wonderful
This was awesome!! Bernardo was our guide, and it was perfect. We went along the beach and then up into the main park. It was a great experience, I highly recommend it. It's a great way to see different areas of Porto.
I always think a cycle tour gives you a fuller sight seeing perspective than maybe walking does but Porto is quite a unique city in that it is very hilly. I mean it would be a difficult ride. So the bike tour is ok on the flat. But the interesting parts of Porto are on the climb.. so if you fancy a leisurely ride out to a really nice are of Porto and then get the zoomies on the bike through the park. Yes bike tours are for you.. I think if you want to really get stuck in to a Porto tour walking might be best.. either way both work so maybe do both..
Hugo did an amazing job giving us really interesting insights about Porto, with genuine enthusiasm and love for this city. He told fascinating stories and gave us a unique perspective. The bike ride was fun and a great way to explore the beaches and get away from the city center. Be prepared to ride on the tram tracks for a good portion of the ride though. Nonetheless we felt safe. Overall, Highly recommend!
Best tour in Porto. You see the city from a different more peaceful side. The parks and the sea were beautiful. Miguel was a great guide and it was wonderful to see the city through the eyes of the locals. Bikes were fabulous and it was very safe. I could not recommend this highly enough. Obrigado Sara Miguel and Pedro you were fabulous. You are top of my list when we come back to Porto.
I was so glad that we decided to book this E Bike tour. We were lucky to have Flavio as our guide, who was so lovely and his knowledge was endless. Even though the city was busy, it didnt feel stressful at all. We even had time to stop for a quick coffee during our tour. The E Bikes made light work, would do this again.
Great ride along river and beach paths and back through a few parks. Informative guide enjoyed our day.
Friendly staff. E-bike fit for purpose with no mechanical issues. Helmet included. Reasonable hourly rate Supplied with contact details should they have been required.
Tour guide was very passionate and knowledgeable about Porto. Saw a lot of the city. Nice break from walking all those hills!
Great ride with fantastic varied locations through parks and along the coast. Loads of infor from our fantastic guide Javier.
Enjoyable ride away from the busy centre of Porto. Our guide was able to tell us things about our surroundings we hadn't spotted and was generally knowledgeable about the local matters.
What a way to spend our first day in Porto - we got to see the beautiful sights of Porto - with our friendly guide Helio We basically covered the whole of the historical centre plus the best look viewing spots in Porto Small group made it great to see things quickly - even had time to sit for a great tasting ice cream - morning start was good as well So if your after a great thing to do in Porto with quality e-bikes use these guys!
Fabulous! Eduardo was amazing! My husband and I saw all the beautiful spots from sunset at the Monastery, to along the Douro River and baroque architecture. We have used e-bikes before. Eduardo tailored the trip for us because it was just us. Saw so much! Highly recommend Obrigata :)
Our family joined Hélio on a three hour bike tour and had such a good time. We had two teens with us that loved the bikes and Hélio’s expert knowledge meant we all learned something about beautiful Porto. The tour took us along cycle paths out to the coast and then inland through the park. This meant we missed busy roads and traffic. He all had a great time and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour.
The whole tour was amazing, the guide super kinde and vaery informative. The places we visited where absolutely gorgeous. Would 100% do this again.
Super easy bike to ride, powered up hills - most interesting guidance round main city periphery with eduardo
My wife and I took a three-hour private e-bike tour a long the Port, Beach and back through the city. What a great way to see the town and experience its neighborhoods. Miri, our guide, was fantastic - great energy and personality. Weather was warm, so I'm glad we did the morning ride versus the afternoon. I highly recommend the company and experience.
My husband and I went on this tour on a Saturday morning. Our guide, Eduardo, was excellent!! He told us many historical stories as we biked along the Douro River towards the Atlantic Ocean. It was a pleasant ride. The E bikes were in great condition!! We stopped at a cafe for pastel de nata, which were delicious!! This tour is a great way to see the Foz do Douro area and the outskirts of Porto. I highly recommend it and Eduardo for your guide!!
Phillipe was a great guide. He is very versed in Portuguese and Spanish cultures. I messed up the directions and ended up very far from the bike shop, but they patiently waited for us to arrive. After walking around Porto for a few hours before the bike tour, I was concerned the bike tour would be difficult due the hills. I was very pleasantly surprised that it was on all flat terrain (probably the only flat area in Porto).
We had an outstanding 5 hour private ebike tour with Elio! We saw the entire city and he was great. Private was only an extra 45 euro and was completely worth it!
Eduardo was THE best guide ! we had such a fantastic time on this ebike ride and saw so many things we never would have seen on a bus or on our own. Eduardo is so passionate about his country and culture, it made the stops so much more interesting to hear about the history behind the statues, parks, etc. We felt super safe and in control with his guidance on the bikes, highly recommend this tour. definitely a must in Porto!
Great experience, with a wonderful guide Emanuel! He really knew the history and told great stories of the past. He offered good advice for meals, one of which was in the Fish area away from the tourist commercialized area .
Viator and the bike shop don’t seem to communicate. Our arrival appeared to catch them by surprise. The tour was 3 hours but varied greatly from Viator’s description. Being new to the city we didn’t realize how much was left out. I’m sure if we had asked, our guide, Eduardo, would have accommodated. We missed entire sections of the city. If you are a timid biker, Porto is not the place for you. Dodging people, cars and scooters on very busy paths and roads would be a challenge.
Our guide, Helio, was very knowledgeable about the area we toured. The bikes were in very good condition. Helio engaged each of the four people in our group and was very considerate of the limited biking skills of our group. The ride along the Douro River and along the Atlantic was beautiful. Because we biked on a Sunday, there were a lot of people on our path. If you wanted a more peaceful ride, I would suggest traveling on a weekday.
Great way to see the areas outside of downtown Porto that one normally wouldn't be able to visit by foot. Our guide was very knowledgeable (to the point of telling us almost too much!) Would have liked to do a bit more riding and less stopping.
The tour covered a quieter side of Porto out to the beach and through the park. The designated bike lanes are amazing and very safe. Sofia was a great guide and gave us lots of information.
Great bikes, great tour around the City, very helpful staff. Our guide Edwardo was impressive....we all ( 10 men, average age 60) enjoyed our 3 hour tour....bar next door was very well placed for a pint at the end!!!
Elliot was a great tour guide. He was very informative. Excellent trip and a great guide. I would definitely recommend this tour. We were able to see hidden gems in the city.
Seeing a vast area in a quicker time than it would have taken on foot. Well maintained bikes and an informative guide in Felipe.
Friendly and efficient. Heights provided in advance so bikes were ready and waiting. Philippe was a great guide and took care to make sure we had fun and were safe. Wonderful views of the Porto coast. Lovely way to spend the morning
Atur was an excellent guide. This tour offers plenty of interesting places and discussions to be had along the way. Not too hilly. The electric bikes are brand new!
Great bike tour of Porto. Helio did a great job, I highly recommend the tour. Beautiful city, great commentary, loved it!
It was fantastic even though the weather was cold, rainy and very windy. Equipment was in great shape and our guide was very miagable.
An absolute highlight from start to finish. E-bikes are so easy and perfect for taking in the city. A lot of Porto is under construction for the new Metro line so our guide Ellio mapped a route that would avoid congestion and works. We visited lovely parks, traversed the upper and lower bridges to Gaia, went into Bento Station (stunning) and popped in for quick tour and nip to the top of Cathedral of Porto. Ellio is very relaxed and informative. We were very lucky to be the only ones in our group, so essentially had a private tour for 3.5hours.
Lots of fun, electric bikes, are easy to use, got to see a lot more Puerto Van if you’re walking, nice stops along the way. Even in the rain we had fun.
Fantastic tour with friendly guide. Best way to discover Porto : many locations (including non touristic highlights), good bike and elaborate explanation about history, culture, ...
My husband and I went on a Private Tour with Ellio. He was a pleasure and so knowledgeable about the history of Porto and Portugal. We learned a great deal and had fun riding through Porto. Request Ellio if you go, he was the best!
Good equipment, good host. We liked it so much that we came back and rented ebikes again the next day.
This ride takes you mainly down the waterfront to the beach, then through a nice and huge park before taking you near the main bridge. It's a nice way to see different areas of Porto than you typically visit as a tourist. Our guide was great, telling interesting stories along the way. The bikes all seemed quite new and we didn't have any technical problems with them. There is a little bit of riding along the road and tram tracks but not too bad. Also most of the ride is fairly flat. Just a few parts had hills. They keep the groups small (ours was 8) which is appreciated. Unfortunately for us we had a rainy start so in order to make up time, our guide hurried us through the later part of the tour. I would have liked to stop at least a bit in the park. Also the last part at the bridge could be completely eliminated from the tour. It is in a very congested area with a steep hill and better seen on foot--more frustrating than it was worth and not a great note to end on. If you are not an experienced city biker this may be a stressful ride for you. Between the pedestrians and various road hazards it's not a relaxing ride. That's no fault of the company, it's just how Porto is.
Thoroughly enjoyed this going up the river to the sea. Our guide Eduardo spoke excellent English, was punctual although we arrived back a little late which was not a problem. The staff at the shop were helpful and there was nothing that I could find fault with. Highly recommend
We had an amazing guide Sophia. She was interesting & funny and we loved our bike tour. The park she took us through was beautiful 🤩
Tour was great! Great way to see a side of Porto that we wouldn’t have. The e-bikes were super nice too.
This was an amazing tour. Our guide was knowledgeable providing historical information about the neighborhoods we rode through. Great way to see Porto’s water front. We went at 10am which was nice because the streets weren’t as busy with tourists.
We had an amazing 3 hour electric bike tour with Eduardo. We covered many historical places and also a great ride following the river out to the sea to some of the lovely surf beaches. We had a stop at cafe for coffee and traditional Nata. Then returned through a beautiful park with man made lakes and picnic areas. The tour covered a large area and would highly recommend choosing this tour if you would like to see the outskirts of Porto. Eduardo was a very knowledgeable and personable guide. Loved the whole experience and so enjoyable on the e-bikes.
Amazing - Miguel was our guide and he was brilliant! - Completely enjoyed the experience - Ebike was really easy to use
