The highlight of our trip to Portugal! Ana was early to pick us up, engaging, friendly and made the trip better than we expected, she made this feel like a trip with a friend instead of just a job to her. The cost covers lunch, a river tour, a stop in a quaint town and two wineries, the price is well worth it. Regardless of if you’re a wine lover or not this tour is worth it just for the views and if you love wine come try Portuguese wine as a California wine lover Ana made me want to start looking for Portuguese wines on the wine list moving forward.

Bernardo was our guide for the full-day private tour and was awesome! Pick up was very smooth, and he was extremely informational during the entire tour. Both vineyards we visited were fantastic, and the lunch was delicious! I’d definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting Porto.

This was a wonderful day !! We were picked up at our hotel and our guide Alexandra was wonderful. The wineries were both very nice and the lunch that was included at the first winery was delicious. We enjoyed the scenery and both wineries and the boat ride was beautiful.

His down to earth and genuine personality put everyone at ease and his knowledge of the history of the area and his approach to sharing it made the trip so enjoyable. What a truly special day in the beautiful Douro Valley! Mario was fantastic — warm, funny and incredibly knowledgeable, with a genuine passion for Portugal. He took us to breathtaking lookouts and a beautiful winery, followed by a delicious traditional lunch at Quinta. This became one of the highlights of our family trip — stunning scenery, plenty of laughs, great wine and precious time together. Mario felt more like a friend showing us a part of his country he loves than simply our guide. Thank you, Mario, for the laughs, stories and wonderful memories our family will treasure.
