We absolutely had the best day with Andre. He was super funny, very knowledgeable and made the day so enjoyable. The wineries were very fun (we ended buying wine at both of them). The lunch was amazing. Perfect day!

My wife and I and our 2 adult sons did this private tour with Andre. He was engaging and informative and fun! He made the experience even better. The Douro Valley was incredible to see! The three wineries we visited were all excellent. Wine was amazing as was the lunch at the last spot. I highly recommend this tour.

The guide was outstanding. Over the top. We would have preferred some higher quality wines with the first two stops. But overall we loved it.

João was amazing. From the very beginning he made us all feel very welcome. He is was extremely knowledgeable and I learnt more on the tour from him than I had from the museums so far! He helped us all get to know each other and we had a better time for it. The drive was smooth and engaging. The winery's were all beautiful and the tastings were excellent quality and also very informative. Lunch was delicious and again great value, as well as in a beautiful location. Very relaxed and fun, perfect for holidays. Will recommend to anyone visiting Porto. Thank you again João!

This was a wonderful experience. Joao was the best guide we have had in a long time. Knowledgeable, funny and entertaining. He watched and made sure everyone was safe as we walked and made sure to include everyone. He made it very personal. Alex was a wonderful driver. Felt safe at all times even driving on the twisty and curvy roads. The day flew by.

Excellent experience learning about wine. Andre was an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable and truly cares about his customers. The 3 wineries were excellent, ranging from a large winery to a more family-owned one. I would highly recommend this to family and friends. Three wineries are plenty. The bus was in excellent condition, with A/C and internet for the kids to play. Great experience.

Paulo did an excellent job historically describing the Duoro valley region as well as Portugal, he also adapted to our needs. For Viator specifically I requested all tastings to have table wine (not just port) for tastings and I do not believe this conveyed to the local travel tour company.

Julianna was an an amazing guide! She was so knowledgeable about the history and the wine making process of the Duoro Valley. We got to experience several great wineries and overall had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!!

Sampled various red, white, and port wines at three wineries, with lunch included. Also got to try cheese, honey, and olive oil. Vitor, a true blue local, was great and provided lots of information. Recommended!

This whole trip was amazing. The first winery was my favorite. The rest were more commercial. The food was okay. Definitely make sure to have dinner plans. The driver was so awesome and funny. It really made the trip much more fun. I would definitely do this experience again.

Where do I even begin ?! It’s hard to put it into words how truly beautiful Douro Valley is . All the wines/Port we tried was amazing but the highlight of the tour was absolutely our guide Paulo! He made us feel like family from the start . He was so knowledgeable about both wines and Porto . It was obvious he’s very passionate about his job ! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

What a wonderful day spent tasting port wines and regional wines. The lunch of regional foods was tasty. The Douro Valley has spectacular scenery. Our tour guides were knowledgeable and entertaining. The bus was comfortable, and it's driver was attentive and drove safely. Recommend your and your company.

Tour guide was amazing! We learned a lot about the region and Portuguese wine and history. The selection of wineries was not good. It is not worth the money. For a private tour it felt cheap. We asked to leave half way through the last vineyard. Not recommended.

The perfect experience to start a love of the this beautiful region. Our guide, Sarah, was professional, kind and incredibly knowledgeable. We felt completely at ease and safe. We learned so much of the region, the wines and the culture. It was like we spent the day with a friend. This was truly a wonderful day!

My wife and I from Australia and our two friends from France spend the day with Andre. We were picked up from our accommodation for this private tour and the four of us were driven in a comfortable Mercedes from Porto to the Douro Valley. The drive was very comfortable and the visits very informative. In particular the fantastic briefing we received after lunch about Port. This was particularly interesting and well presented! All of us enjoyed the day and Andre's personal touches.

Highly recommend this tour, they took us to three small quintas and we had some amazing wine. We wouldn’t have been able to visit these by ourselves. Our tour guide Rita was simply the best. Super funny, knowledgeable, and accommodating. She gave us so much information about the regions and the wines that we were having. The drive was very scenic, our driver Gabriel did a great job navigating the winding roads.

Sarah was AWESOME. We went to three great wineries and had so much fun. Our group was about 16 people and we had a great time all together - lots of laughs and great wine and port. Would highly recommend, seriously great time and great knowledge from Sarah.

The tour guide Vitor was great. Extremely friendly and told us about a lot of the history of the valley and the wine. All the stops had fantastic wine and the lunch was delicious

This tour was easy to access from the cruise terminal. Our guide was absolutely amazing. He was knowledgeable and charismatic. We learned so much about ports and our guide became a dear friend by the end of the tour.

A truly fantastic and personalized tour. The vineyards were breathtaking, the wine was flowing, the lunch was delicious. I didn’t realize that I like port wine until this trip! 100% recommend. It’s a must.

We loved our driver who gave us so much information about the region and life in Portugal. We enjoyed seeing the region, which is like nothing else on earth! We did want to try more non- port wine from the region. We will certainly do this in our next trip and hope to have the same guide!

We visited the Douro Valley in a party of six with guide Steve and Anna. The tour included visits to three vineyards with lunch. Highlight was the visit to the first vineyard which included tastings of olive oil and different flavored honey all produced organically at the vineyard. Lunch was nice served in an open courtyard under olive trees. The tour also included port tasting and advise on selecting, serving and storing port. Steve and Anna were great guides with lots of local information and advice. Very enjoyable day ad would highly recommend this tour.

Excellent tour Paolo was great. They only issue was that we had a flat tire. We had to order another car service to drive us home. I feel the company should refund us the cost of the new car.

A wonderful day touring the Douro Valley with our guide, João. His passion for this region and the wine it produces was evident in the level of service he provided. In addition, the staff at each winery were engaging and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour for those coming to Porto for the first time or those wanting to experience the wines of Portugal.

We had a wonderful guide who was very knowledgeable. The food was fabulous & the winery tours were small & very personable.

Our guides were Francisco and driver Tiago. Both gave a well presented history tour to the vineyards of the Douro valley. The tasting of the wines was just delightful and the boat tour, an added bonus

We absolutely enjoyed the tour. Not much of a Port drinker, but we decided to try and see Douro Valley. Mauricio was our guide and very knowledgeable. He even recommended us some really great restaurants in Porto. We enjoyed visiting the Quintas and trying their Port and table wines. It was a great experience and we would go back to Douro again to try other places next time.

Safe visit, very well organized. Excellent choice of the various places to visit. Hugo is an extraordinary professional, knowledgeable and lively, careful and very friendly, who adapts very well to the group he is working with.

We did the english tour with Steve which showed us a great time. He was knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting facts, as well as being entertaining and very funny. All three vineyards had their charms in different ways and all were worth the visit. The ports we tried were amazing and we also got to taste several table wines. Lunch was a delicious several course meal with a fantastic view. Great experience overall and highly recommend the tour as well as Steve as a tour guide. Enjoy!

Our tour guide Paolo was terrific! It was amazing hearing about Lisbon's culture and history from a life-long resident. My husband and I loved the two vineyards that we went to and the stop in Mafra was lovely and something we would have missed in our trip otherwise. Highly recommend!!!!

The tour "began" 45 minutes late and my expectations were not high. Fortunately, our tour guide from Efun made up for the lateness of the start with an informative and pleasant tour. It helped that the weather was beautiful in the Douro Valley. The scenery was spectacular even though the vines had not started to bud out. The quintas that we visited were all excellent. Of course the Port that we tried was excellent and the vintners (quinta tour guides) were knowledgeable and entertaining. In the end in was worth the wait, but if we had started on time my rating would have been a five.

Great tour excellent driver / guide great stops , lunch was terrific opened our eyes to the traditions of port in the valley as well as the drinking of it.

Thx for the great tour Steve! We had a marvellous day. Learned everything about port and maybe more important, we had great fun and laughter with the other people joining the tour. That was possible because we were with 6 people, perfect!

We made a trip to the Douro valley in a mini van with 8 guests. It was a lovely day. Our guide Jean told us a lot about the region and the wines. We visited three wineries of which the visit to the small independent winery impressed us most. We would surely recommend this trip!

Jean was a great guide. He provided helpful commentary along the route. He picked us up at the hotel in the morning and returned us there later in the afternoon. We had wine tasting at Quinta de Percha and lunch and a boat tour at Pinhao. We didn't want a long boat ride so this was a perfect compromise. We drove and enjoyed spectacular scenery and then had a one hour trip on the boat. We would recommend this one day tour.
