Very personalized And relaxing We had great weather and were able to ask questions - the wine ans breadsticks were nice

The boat trip departs from a point out of the city centre so you need to uber there. The boat is quite small but the driver was experienced. The guide was new to the job but gave some good information about the bridges. They were flexible and dropped us off at a point close to the city centre on the Gaia side so we could walk home to our hotel. Quite expensive compared to some other options.

A small group on a small boat that was very enjoyable and relaxing. The two staff were both very friendly and knowledgeable.

Awesome boat tour of the six bridges. Our guide, Filipe, was knowledgeable, friendly, and a joy to be with. We were a group of seven on the boat which was refreshing instead of being packed like sardines on the much larger boats. I recommend choosing the 5 pm (or whatever is the last time slot) so you can see the sun set over the water. It was truly a special experience.

It was a great experience that Guide was very knowledgeable! we learned a lot of history about Puerto that I would’ve never imagined. He shared a lot of knowledge great wine and a very positive vibe throughout the tour.. I have a few friends that will visit Puerto in December. I am highly recommending this Tour. It was great. The weather was wonderful. The morning was so peaceful and relaxing. It was our last day in Puerto so I really did make it big impact.. I will definitely be back and book again and for sure always recommend it!!

The guides were incredible. Took us through all 6 bridges of the douro river through porto. The port wine was also quite lovely. As a Canadian, the meeting spot wasn't 100% easy to find due to the address given, but the dock was the safe (and correct) choice. Would strongly recommend this nice relaxing trek through the douro River 😀

We had a beautiful sunset cruise with and we ended up being the only 2 on the cruise so got lots of photos and local knowledge from Phillipe who was very passionate about the history of the area. We thoroughly enjoyed. It’s away from the bigger tourist boats and you can get to the meeting point on the tram or very short Uber ride. Would highly recommend!

I'm so glad we found this tour on TripAdvisor because there isn't a lot of information on Google. Most of the other boat tours in Porto are very large, not personal at all and are designed to get as many people on the boat as possible. This place is exactly the opposite. The captain and tour guide were both great. Full of knowledge about the river and the city and both very funny. They had us laughing the whole time. Worth every penny. Show up a bit early and grab a coffee at the cafe at the top of the dock before heading down to the boat. There isn't a lot for signage so if you find the cafe and just head down the boat ramp you're in the right spot.

A great sunset tour under the Porto bridges! The guide, Filipe, was providing interesting facts and history about the bridges, Douro river and Porto itself. Not only telling the story but also interacting with the passengers was fun. He also made sure to play some music from each country on board. We finished the tour at the sunset and the views were amazing. Highly recommend!

Very good being in a small boat with probably max 8 people. Guide really does not need to talk all the time. Much better to answer questions. We had perfect weather but it was really windy I would not have got on this boat

We were very disappointed. We thought we had booked a tour with one of the professional boat tour companies but our captain was an independent boat owner and wasn’t very professional. The meeting place was about 30 minutes away from where all the professional boat tour companies launch, our captain was not a very knowledgeable guide and we were served two very small samples of port wine in plastic glasses that didn’t look like they had been cleaned from the prior tour. We paid about $40@ and didn’t feel like it was worth the price.

We chose this excursion because of the reviews. We wanted to be on the water for sunset and enjoy a small group experience rather than a large boat with many people. Filipe was our captain and he greeted us warmly and treated us as friends! The meeting point was easy and even though traffic held us up, he called via WhatsApp and gathered us without delay! We were able to use the facilities before the boat ride and as we came aboard we met Bruno who was an excellent skipper, navigating bigger boat waves and making the ride as smooth as possible! Filipe interacted with everyone, joked and told history of Porto. It was a fantastic evening!! Could the boat have been more luxurious? Sure, but for the time, and experience it was the best! We went very far down the river almost out of Porto, and went back and went very far to the oceans gate… you could smell the salt water! The timing was perfect. They asked days in advance to move the tour 1/2 hour prior for best sunset views due to time change and that was very thoughtful and worth it! Highly recommend! Tell Filipe NY sent you!

Our guide Philip was very knowledgeable and engaging--exactly what you'd like in a guide, personable and funny. It was a sunset trip--very smooth and effortless for us. He took a few photos of us, with one of our phones--at sunset. A romantic moment.

This boat trip was the highlight of our trip. I’ve done the touristy boat trips with audio guide in Porto before and they don’t compare to this one. The guide was very engaging, funny and informative. It was great to learn about Porto’s history and the six bridges, but also local facts and insights from the guide. The guide was able to answer all of our questions. Port wine was great too.

The TOUR GUIDE was very pleasant. Unfortunately myself and several other people were very frustrated and confused with the meeting point. It was not clearly marked where to meet. The address that was given as a meeting point was up the hill at a café, not close to the boat.

We had a great experience on this tour. Adriano was a great character.He demonstrated a vast knowledge of Porto, Portugal and its relation to England. The journey was calm and very enjoyable and finished off beautifully with the sun setting under the bridge. Thoroughly recommend this small personal tour.

Delightful tour, knowledgeable guide, well-piloted boat, smooth ride. The only thing that could make the afternoon better was more signs to help us find the right boat!

My girlfriend and I took the 6 bridges tour last week in Porto on the Douro river. It was an amazing experience seeing the city from that vantage point. Our guides were extremely informative, friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home on the boat. It was an intimate size and relaxed pace. They even provided us some treats that weren't listed on the Viator site when we booked the trip.

Excellent sunset boat tour, we can’t recommend it enough! It was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Porto. After spending the day walking all around the city, ending the day on the water with Captain Felipe and his co-sailor Maina was absolutely wonderful. They were both so informative, friendly, and warm, and they made the experience feel incredibly special. We loved that it’s a much more intimate boat ride compared to the massive, touristy tours you see around Porto, with space for only about 10 people. They even served us three different kinds of Port wine, and honestly, it felt like we had rented a private boat! They were also extremely communicative and flexible about adjusting the departure time so we could catch the sunset, which was a beautiful touch. And what a sunset it was, absolutely gorgeous! If you’re visiting Porto, this experience is not to be missed. We watched an unforgettable sunset, enjoyed wonderful company, and made some truly special memories. Thank you, Felipe and Maina, for such an amazing experience! ❤️⛵️🌅

It’s a smaller boat with direct interaction with the captain and the tour guide. Philip was knowledgeable about the river and the bridges and about Porto. The location was a little bit hard to find. My only suggestion is to have a bigger sign to help others find where to meet.

This tour was a top highlight. The guides are so knowledgeable about the history of the river/bridges, and always included some fun facts as well. The driver was clearly an expert navigating the water and always brightened the vibe. It was the perfect combination of informative and relaxed. They were accommodating of multiple languages and helped us find a great cafe to sit at before the tour.This tour is a must! Don’t miss this one - it was the best boat tour I’ve ever been on.

My grown daughter and I learned a lot and had a fun time on our river boat tour with knowledgeable Philippe! He gave the tour while a skipper drove. Mavina (sp?) was also on our boat which made us two women traveling alone feel more comfortable, especially at the beginning. It was just us on the boat, so we could ask all the questions we wanted to. They also took photos for us. We hope to come back with the rest of our family to do it again! Know that this boat takes off from a dock west on the river, not from the main tourist area. It is small and not busy, but rest assured you are probably at the right spot. You can use their WC on the dock before leaving but may want to use a nicer one elsewhere before arriving. Highly recommend!

Small group tour is the way to go. We got a great tour and lots of bits of knowledge from Phillipe and Alfonso. Wasn't quite sure we were in the right place for pickup but Phillipe found us right on time. Would recommend this to anyone!

Wonderful way to experience the 6 bridges tour. Learned about their history, local culture, and our tour guide even took a couple of really wonderful photos of my friend and I. Would highly recommend if you recommend a smaller more intimate tour vs some of the bigger boat offerings we saw.

Small, intimate group trip. The energy was a 10/10, really enjoyed our tour guides and they truly went out of their way to make sure they knew everyone. It was a beautiful sunset and even the boat didn’t feel very bumpy as someone who gets seasick easily, I felt they were very experienced and knew what they were doing. Absolutely loved the attention to detail and would definitely recommend!

I booked a tour and no one showed up. When I tried to call they finally called me back and said the boat was broken after o was at the dock for 40 minutes. I would NOT book this tour.

The captain was incredibly accommodating and went out of his way to make sure everyone on board had a great experience. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and had a great sense of humour, which made the trip even more enjoyable. We also really appreciated the port and biscuits provided along the way – a lovely touch while taking in the beautiful scenery. Overall, it was a fun and memorable experience.

Filipe is an engaging guide, and Bruno is a great navigator of the river. One thing that I liked about this cruise is that, although port is poured and savored, the vessel and cruise do not promote one of the port companies.

A fantastic boat ride along the Douro. The guide was informative and friendly giving us lots of information about the 6 bridges and many other landmarks along the river. We also got lots of tips for other activities for the rest of our trip. The port tasting was a nice touch too. Note that the starting point is about a mile from the centre, but it's easy to get there on the number 500 bus.

Smaller boat means you get personal attention and the ability to ask questions as you hear the history of Porto and Port wine. It includes a glass of Port wine and crackers. The meeting location is further down the river, off the beaten path; we parked in the restaurant’s lot on a side street.
