This was AWFUL! We arrived and were given our “wine glasses” and let into the event. Whilst in the first room watching the introduction video a group of young school children were led through to the ball pit. They screamed and shrieked so that my brain was rattling. We waited for them to finish before moving through, but as we waited a second group of children came through and then a third! I was expecting a slightly camp, funny ADULT environment where people were being given the advertised 5 GLASSES of wine. Instead I felt like I was in a school playground with a dribble of wine (not even as much as a tasting in a winery) where the children had been given red bull and caffeine!! After we left we went to the desk to tell the staff how dissapointed we were, but we couldn’t be heard over the screaming coming from inside. It must have taken me about an hour to stop my head from vibrating. Apparently this happens TWICE A WEEK!!!
Incredibly enjoyable 90 minute visit. Learned a lot and had a fantastic time. Would definitely come back!
This is a really fun and interactive experience. Super fun for a family or a couple. The wines are great to taste, nothing overwhelming. It’s full of photograph spots. Like a funfair but of rosé wine!
Fun but a bit pricey for the experience. Many photo ops and 5 tastings of decent (but not great wine). The highlight is the pink ball pit and the convertible car. Not sure if I’d go back, but helped pass an afternoon with 3 adults and two girls 9 and 13 years old.
probably the best picture spots! very cutesy, definitely a lot of fun! especially after a couple glasses of rose wine ;)
Solo traveler here who loves pink. How could I not head to WOW? Staff was wonderful, indulging a middle-aged not-influencer with a tripod for all of the cool rooms. Great photos and great wine. Worth $30? It was to me, but I could see being disappointed if one was expecting a large museum or if they were with kids who needed to be entertained for any extended amount of time. For me, the wine and photos were fine--great, even!
Beautiful and fun tour to drink and learn more about rose! The staff were friendly and informative, and a great way so learn more about rose.
Short tour to get basic understanding on rosé drinks. Nice tasting experience with some fun interactive set-ups, but also allowing for questions for deeper understanding. Felt a bit like speed-tasting
Get a fun explanation ofnthe world of rose. You get 5 wine tastings and details about pink wine in an imersive environment.
Really poor, unimaginative and terrible value for money. Boring for children and adults alike. Tastings of 5 basic Ross wines delivered with no real information or enthusiasm. The whole experience was dull and lacklustre. Real shame as the whole building and area has been renovated to a high standard.
The experience was great! The wine was great! Lots of photo spots, and lots of cool rooms. Maria was great! She helped us the entire time! You get samples of 5 different rose wines. There is also a ball pit and grape juice for kids. It is fun for the family.
Not worth the money. When we got there people behind us were let in first because they were unable to find our trip advisor reservation even though I presented them with a printed voucher. The girls checking us in were neither friendly nor welcoming. There were not 5 tastings set up. The photo ops were cute but not worth the price paid. Time would have been better spent sitting in a sidewalk Cafe in Porto. Avoid this tourist trap.
Davi was an excellent host who went above and beyond to inform and entertain us. He even took some fabulous special effect pictures to help us remember the experience. We highly recommend the Pink Palace and it’s fun and knowledgeable staff
We had a fantastic time there - good wines and interesting to find out about them. We had so much fun taking selfies - the ball pit was one of the best laughs I’ve had for ages. It is a really great place - well worth a visit.
Super fun and cute. Lots of instagram worthy picture opportunities. Staff was knowledgeable about the wine. There wasn’t really a line to go in when I went in the afternoon. It was hard to find at first but once we used our map it was easy to locate.
Super fun experience for family. Reasonably priced family daily pass gave us multiple wine and chocolate tastings and more activities than we had time for. Beautiful building and no crowds. Great way to spend the day.
Amazing morning spent with friends. Vttor was an amazing host. Highly recommended for a good laugh, photos and wine. We visited on a rainy day so perfect
This experience was so fun! And also very educational. My fiancé and I laughed the entire time. I would highly recommend this for a lighthearted activity!
What a great experience. Definitely to be done after the wine experience. Great for kids young and young at heart. You are able to leave your belongings in a locker at start of the experience and are issued with a plastic drinking glass and a pink bracelet with five token pins to exchange for wine. Very fun and tongue in cheek approach to rose wine. You get an overview of the pink wine world and then journey through a ball pool, upside down world, baths and see saws, a Cadillac (pink of course) and end up in a honky tonk Western saloon.
Booked as part of a 3 experience package the evening before I went. Booked via Get Your Guide as went solo. It was late afternoon/early evening when I arrived and was very quiet. Lady on front desk was pleasant and offered a locker for personal belongings. You get a tumbler (which is hygiene wrapped) and a pink bracelet with pins that you hand over at each testing station. From start to end, its very pink, kitsch and tongue in cheek. Lots of information about wines on the walls. Lots of photo opportunities. I had so much fun, staff were all nice and gave information about the different wines for tasting. Recommend the experience whether solo or with company.
We went along on a rainy day in Porto not sure what to expect, but visited the Pink Palace and Chocolate museum and had a brilliant time. Also had lunch at VP which was delicious. Highly recommend - perfect spot in Gaia close to local port cellars and restaurants.
We loved the ball pit and the upside down room. It was informative and fun. By the end, the portion size of the five tastings seemed just right.
We visited WOW as part of our trip to Porto and we did the Wine Experience then the Pink Palace. We would definitely recommend them both. We got a top tip - do the Wine Experience first for learning then the Pink Palace afterwards for fun :) They stagger the entrance to the Pink Palace, so you're not crowded in with loads of people. We barely saw anyone else which was a bonus. We went solely for the fun and the 'instragram' factor but were pleasantly surprised by the wine and we definitely ended up learning some things too. Overall a good fun experience
Very fun and relaxing experience. You can also learn more about rose wine while tasting 5 different ones.
Absolutely amazing! We had so much fun taking pictures in all the spots and were drinking our rose while doing it! If you’re looking for a fun time this self guided tour will not disappoint.
We felt like two children at an amusement park. We had so much fun. And it only got better with each glass of wine.
This has to be the worst Value for money experience in Portugal! It's a self guided tour amongst neon pink bad taste - we went to learn more about wine, but the hosesses really didn't know anything apart from their script. The wines chosen were not at all classy or thought provoking. This really should be marketed to 20 year olds, who want to take selfies and pose in a a pink cadillac or ball pond or a mirror room - none of which had anything to do with wine!
Someone on the street handed me a flyer for WOW that included some information about this place. I am so glad I went! I love rose, and the cute decor / many photo opportunities this place offers made it perfect for me. I enjoyed tasting the wine (the portions are generous) and staff were informative and also helpful when it came to taking pictures (I traveled alone). I have been to museums/experiences like this before and they are often very crowded - this one was not, and that made it all the better. It's cute, fun, and you get to taste different roses - a perfect afternoon stop!
The surroundings and the marketing set the expectations much higher than this experience could deliver. For 25 eur per person you should get more than five small below-the-average rose wine servings and a decor & information boards that look more like a booth from a fair than an "immersive experience" that was promised. If you know rose wine and want to learn more, don't bother. If you want to get tipsy by drinking Mateus and alike and take some nice selfies for your social media, then this might be worth your time. But not worth the money.
We has a truly unique experience in this amazing fun filled place dor adults. Definitely worth the time!
Fun and informative The tasting tour progresses according to intensities and each attendant provides us with explanations vs wine
it was incredible and a lot of fun, my favorite part was the ball pit
I don't drink alcohol but I really liked the experience, especially dive in the ball pool. Mrs. Liya was very friendly and helpful.
On the 5 experiences , I recommend the museum of chocolate , fun and very interesting . We were able to taste 100 / cent chocolate (even if I had already bought some) and tasted roasted raw chocolate beans. We also experienced the wine museum. The tasting is nice. Too bad there are not many people on the terrace of restaurants. Probably because of the higher price than downstairs, near the douro. Besides, it's very well placed. You still have to walk a little to get there.
Incredible experience with children. They had a great time with the different activities they offer, ball park, mirrors, convertible car, costumes, etc... For the elderly they explain the different types of rosé and white wine in the area, and it is a tasting of the most entertaining, passing through the different rooms. Recommended 100% especially with children or friends
It was very good our experience was very good, especially with the care of David! He helped us with a problem with our ticket and left us alone.
10/10 experience. Super interactive, creative and spectacular museum. I recommend everyone who is in the city of Porto to take some time of the day to visit the museum!!!
The museum is really very nice but the pink palace does not deserve the money spent, or rather, it is probably more suitable for children but it is not a real experience is just for wine lovers, where it is preferable to choose other. Cute spot photo even if only when I left I discovered that there were other rooms, which evidently I did not see, no suggested route, a little disappointed, I expected better (25€ wasted )
A perfect experience for couples or friends! The Pink Palace is an excellent activity to do as a couple. We particularly enjoyed tasting 5 different rosés, each with its unique flavors. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the ideal setting for a moment of relaxation and discovery. An activity that we highly recommend to wine lovers and beautiful experiences!
We liked the experience and were very well guided by Davi Silva. Very fun moments besides tasty ones.
Overpriced, not worth it. Very, very entertaining. You can do a wine tasting anywhere in Porto. We were disappointed because we expected something different for the high price.
Het proeven van de verschillende soorten rose en de leuke momenten om foto’s te maken met alle decors
...in the whole WOW. An interactive museum that is great fun. We were lucky enough to be there alone. Super friendly staff.
Very explanatory and interesting museum. Wines also very well chosen. We were very well received by Salomé at the ticket office, always with a smile on our faces. When we entered and enjoyed the experience we were always accompanied by Morgana, who always kept us captivated and ready to answer our questions. Overall, the team is well constituted.
Fantastic fun place that had everything to wish for if you are a bit childish, like me. Beautiful Instagram pictures, nice colors and fun things to do. However, I thought it was a bit too much for middle-aged children. People were both afraid of hurting them in the sea of balls and they also threw balls wildly around at people's heads. Would have had a limit on the number of children at certain times or that children between 4-7 were allowed to be there from opening to 5 pm, for example, all to minimize mess and risk of injuries.
I highly recommend it, wow has several experiences, I went to 2, the pink palace and the wine experience, super interactive, educational and not to mention that the wines we were given to try are great
As the last boutique from WOW, this one is nice. You get to taste 5 rosés. This is more for fun and aimed at a younger audience. Not much explanation about the wine.
Great recreational museum! Great information on Rosé, the information is well distributed, not too dense. Above all, an excellent time with the delicious Rosé tastings and all the activities and photos to take during the visit. A real pleasure :)
Fantastic I hope to come back more often I enjoyed all the wine tastings To the clinic The clear was super top
