Itinerary
Long road bridge from the 1990s connecting Vila Nova de Gaia and the center of Porto, with views over the Douro River. Of the bridges linking Porto to Vila Nova de Gaia, Ponte do Freixo is the one furthest upstream from the Douro river. It is, in fact, two bridges built in a portico side by side and 10 cm apart from each other.
Ponte de São João is a railway infrastructure that transports the Northern Line over the Douro River, near the city of Porto, in Portugal. Built to replace the 100-year-old Ponte D. Maria Pia, it entered service on June 24, 1991.
Imposing arched railway bridge completed in 1877 and designed by the famous architect Gustave Eiffel. It is considered, together with the Viaduct of Garabit, as the greatest masterpieces executed by the engineer Gustave Eiffel. At the time of its inauguration, it was the bridge with the longest iron arch in the world.
Ponte Infante Dom Henrique, also known as Ponte do Infante, is a road bridge that connects Vila Nova de Gaia to Porto, over the Douro River, in Portugal. Named in honor of Infante D. Henrique, born in Porto, it is the most recent and, according to many, the slenderest bridge linking Porto and Gaia. It was built to replace the upper deck of the Luís I Bridge.
The most iconic bridge in Greater Porto. Arched bridge with road on the lower level and metro line on the upper level between Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. This construction replaced the old suspension bridge that existed on the same site and was carried out through a project by the Belgian engineer Théophile Seyrig, who had previously collaborated with Gustave Eiffel in the construction of the D. Maria Pia railway bridge.
Ponte da Arrábida is an arched bridge over the Douro River. Since the 1930s, it was necessary to create alternative connections to the old bridges (D. Maria Pia and D. Luís bridges) in order to respond to the growing flow of road traffic. At the time of its construction in 1963, the bridge had the largest reinforced concrete arch of any bridge in the world.
Ancient monastery from the 16th century, located on top of a hill and notable for its cloister and round church. The monastery is considered one of the most remarkable buildings in classical European architecture due to its exceptional architectural value and the unique character of its church and cloister, both circular and with the same dimension. The church was classified as a National Monument in 1910 and in 1996, together with the Historic Center of Porto and the Luís I Bridge, it became classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Garden overlooking Rio and the city of Porto, a very famous space in our city.
Cais de Gaia is a tourist area with terraces, restaurants and bars, located on the left bank of the Douro River, in Vila Nova de Gaia, opposite the historic area of Porto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Portugal. For many centuries, a river port was located here, from which various goods were exported, with particular emphasis on Port wine.
Ribeira is one of the oldest and most typical places in the city of Porto, it is part of the Historic Center of Porto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

I absolutely loved it! The crew, the service and everything else was just perfect! I definitely recommend it!
IT WAS AMAZING!!! We had a lot of fun and made friends!! If we ever go to Porto again, we will do it again! This was our highlight!
Carlosand John were amazing hosts on the boat.. So much knowledge. In 2 hours I learned so much about this beautiful city..
John and Carlos were so professionals . They had to change my cruise time and they made sure they kept in contact. Food and drinks were great information about the city was of excellence. Will definitely recommend.
Excellent cruise up the river. Crew were very hospitable and provided good information relating to the history of the area. Wine flowed and the snack was more than adequate for the length of trip
Fun, relaxing. We learned a bit about Porto while enjoying wine and cheese. The guides were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this tour
Guide was outstanding, great wine and snacks, outstanding views. Highly recommend.
Excellent great experience and very knowledgeable.
It was absolutely gorgeous day for a boat trip. Duort was super fun and very attentive. Kept our glasses full. Fun to see Porto and Gaia from the water

Carolina and Antonio were a very good team on the boat! We enjoyed the afternoon cruise.
A fantastic trip! Carlos and John were really friendly and informative about the history of Porto. Great food and wine too! Highly recommend!
nice boat, very friendly staff with a good selection of wine and food which made the trip very enjoyable highly recommend
Great experience. Lovely boat, fantastic staff and plentiful supply of food and drinks
Good service en all just good relexed
My sister and I absolutely loved this excursion. Being able to see the bridges and then after the sun went down, seeing the city lights, was absolutely amazing. The staff was beautiful and Caroline made sure to make our experience perfect.
I would consider the boat itself to be luxury, compared to the other options available for these cruises, and guide Paolo was very friendly, but for the money, some things could be better. Only one wine (vino verde) offered and no soft drinks (only water) for those who didn't drink alcohol. After we got on the boat, they told us that the bathrooms were not working - this seemed sketchy to me since this boat had 2 heads (both not functioning?), and ultimately, this could have been communicated before boarding so people would be better prepared. If something is billed as "luxury", service should match better.
We are so glad we chose this trip. The host Tommy was very knowledgeable about portohe gave a talk as we were cruising down the dourro. All the crew were very lovely and kept the wine and charcuterie coming😁it was all very delicious and the green wine was 👏 thank you for making everything so lovely 💓I would definately recommend booking this cruise 😀
We went on the boat for 4.45pm, lovely to see the sights and watch the sunset. Lovely cheese/meat board with wine & port. Great hosts and lovely to be a small group. Highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Porto.
we had a beautiful day on the river! Our captain Paulo, was very informative and welcoming. He did a great job answering all of our questions and showing us the sites in this beautiful river.. highly recommend!

Very friendly, knowledgeable guides. Interesting history of bridges, wineries and area. Fun experience
Excellent trip. The crew made sure that everyone knew a good time.
I know two hours seems short but it’s perfect. We went around sunset and the pictures at golden hour were elite. You get a glass of wine and some charcutería along with a brief history of the bridges and city. Great price and super friendly staff. A nice little break after walking thousands of steps.
The captain/owner/crew were friendly and helpful as well as knowledgeable. This is not a party boat, but it was still a lot of fun-just what we were looking for.
It was a great experience with Joao as our tour guide. Great wine and great charcuterie. 10/10 would recommend.
Gonçalo, Carlos, and Joao were amazing! We had a great time and it was beautiful

Amazing experience the crew are super nice and helpful, they went above and beyond! Beautiful cruise, smooth ride and amazing views worth everything!
It was superb! The yacht was beyond beautiful with plenty of space to accommodate all of the guests comfortably. The hosting was amazing. Provided wonderful stories about our sights ahd scenes. The green wine, white port and charcuterie trays were fabulous.
There were four of us (my parter and two friends). This was the highlight of our time in Portugal. This was recommended by family who had gone during their time and we were so glad that we booked this. The yacht was huge and pristine and the staff was awesome.
The boat trip was amazing, from the attentive staff to the private nature and the wine and snacks. Big shout out to Nuna who communicated with us when we were late and ensured we didn’t miss the trip. She then kept the wine flowing and was so attentive and great conversation. We were a group of 5 and there were just 4 others on the other end of the boat so it felt very private! Highly recommend and great value for money.
Everything was perfect, very informative yet relaxed and enjoyable we had a great time!
10/10 recommend! Best wine I had in Porto and views immaculate
Amazing - great value for money.
Very fun and relaxing cruise. Great wine and snacks! The crew was amazing and knowledgeable and fun to just talk with. Great views of both sides of Porto and Gaia and the 7 bridges were amazing!

We had a wonderful time on this tour!! We sat at the front of the yacht and it was perfect. The staff would explain the sights and bring us drinks and snacks. They were amazing!
Caroline was a great captain and an amazing crew! Definitely would recommend this trip! Very relaxing!
This was a great way to see porto! We did the sunset cruise and had a great time. Lots of sparkling wine as well as delicious port. Also included meat/cheese/crackers. Would definitely recommend. Guides were great.
This was a great cruise! Our captain was amazing as a narrator on the river and fun to chat with. She’s an owner of the business. The wine and snacks were tasty (but don’t expect top tier). Boat was really nice and also clean. Everything was on time.
Fabulous experience. Exactly as described Staff were amazing Knowledge of Porto was excellent and well received Drinks flowed well and charcuterie was lovely Great value for money Highly recommend this trip
Highly recommend! This was one of the highlights of our trip! Beautiful sightseeing, delicious wine and snacks, and knowledgeable crew.
Outstanding! Amazing way to see Porto and the sunset. Drinks kept coming and there were excellent snacks.
If you’re booked onto the five pm sail you must allow extra time to deal with the rush hour traffic. Also some time to find the meet point on the pier. On our trip when we arrived there was perhaps 30 people gathered in front of the bar/restaurant and bang on 5 the skippers arrived, there was three boats and we had 10 people on ours. The skipper and crew were really friendly and informative along the journey. Deli boards of cheese, cured meats and crackers were served with what they called green wine. I’d recommend this trip however I’d perhaps take my own wine along next time.
Carlos and David made this the highlight of our trip to Porto!
We had such a great time! Kudos to Carlos and Ricardo! Luckily we had beautiful weather, great wine and snacks. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip, and we would do it again if/when we come back to Porto!
The sunset cruise was outstanding! The ship was high quality and the crew was friendly and accommodating. They provided us with history of the area and bridges. We traveled down the river to the point where the river meets the Atlantic Ocean. We took this tour mid October so make sure to bring a jacket because is becomes cool when the sun goes down. David the first mate made the trip special. We appreciate the professionalism and kindness he offered.
