The Fernandine Wall, in Porto, is an ancient defensive structure built in the 14th century during the reign of King Fernando I. It replaced earlier medieval walls to protect the expanding city. Although it was partially demolished in the 19th century, significant sections still remain — particularly in the Ribeira and Morro da Sé areas — serving as historical and architectural witnesses to Porto’s medieval past.
The Monastery of Serra do Pilar, in Vila Nova de Gaia, is a 16th-century historic monument known for its unique circular church and Renaissance architecture. Built by monks of the Order of Saint Augustine, it offers panoramic views over Porto and the Douro River. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a striking symbol of the region.

Decommissioned in 1991, it remains a landmark of engineering and a significant part of Portugal’s transportation history.
The Dom Luís I Bridge, in Porto, is one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Inaugurated in 1886 and designed by Théophile Seyrig, it features two metal decks connecting Porto to Vila Nova de Gaia, allowing the passage of vehicles, pedestrians, and currently, the metro. It is an architectural and historical symbol of the Douro River.
The Infante D. Henrique Garden, in Porto, is a public space located in the Ribeira area, created in the 19th century. At its center stands a statue dedicated to Prince Henry the Navigator, a key figure of the Portuguese Age of Discoveries, known for promoting maritime exploration in the 15th century. Surrounded by trees and flowerbeds, the garden is close to landmarks such as the Palácio da Bolsa and the Ferreira Borges Market, blending history and leisure.
The Ferreira Borges Market, in Porto, was inaugurated in 1885 as a commercial market and stands out for its imposing iron structure in the neoclassical style. Located in the Ribeira district, it no longer functions as a market and today serves as a cultural and leisure space, hosting events and exhibitions.
The Palácio da Bolsa, in Porto, is a historic 19th-century building in the neoclassical style. Formerly the headquarters of the Porto Commercial Association, it is renowned for its luxurious Arab Room and its cultural and architectural significance. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and hosts visitors and international events.
The Church of São Francisco, in Porto, is a masterpiece of Gothic architecture with a richly decorated Baroque interior featuring gilded woodwork. Built in the 14th century, it stands out for the grandeur of its details and the unique Jesse Tree sculpture. It is one of the city’s most important religious and artistic landmarks.
The Miragaia district, in Porto, is one of the oldest and most picturesque areas of the city, located by the Douro River. Known for its narrow streets, colorful houses, and historic atmosphere, it has medieval origins and once housed communities of merchants and artisans. It is a charming place that reflects the tradition and charm of Porto.
The Arrábida Bridge, in Porto, is a road bridge inaugurated in 1963, designed by Edgar Cardoso. It is notable for its reinforced concrete arch, which was one of the largest in the world at the time, and for its structural elegance. Connecting Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia, it is a landmark of Portuguese engineering.

Known for its century-old trees and sculptures, such as “The Boys” by Juan Muñoz, it is a place of leisure and culture, located near landmarks like the Clérigos Tower and the Portuguese Photography Center.
Part of our short walk includes seeing the Church of Carmo. It is an 18th-century work in the Baroque-Rococo style, famous for the large tile panel on its side façade depicting religious scenes. Located next to the Church of the Carmelites, the two are separated by a narrow house. It is an important architectural and historical landmark of the city.

Fantastic way to see the city highlights, hear some history and have fun in 90 minutes! Anna was awesome!
It was the perfect introduction to Porto and Gaia. Our guide not only showed us what was worth seeing, but also gave tips on “tourist traps” as well as some fun rides down steep hills. We absolutely loved it!
Excellent way to see the city and all the sites, made extremely entertaining and fun by Nunu our guide, thanks Nunu!
An engaging, exciting, and easy way to see and learn about the history, culture, food and sites of the city.
This was so much fun in the “little Ferrari”. Leandro calls his TukTuk little Ferrari. This tour was so much fun and Leandro has such an immense knowledge of Porto and its history. Very entertaining. Make sure you ask him for dining suggestions. He knows all of the good places to eat.
I would highly recommend booking a TukTuk as a way to best see the sites of Porto. Our guide was excellent and provided great information and insights
Our tour guide was great and very informative. Even with on going Military events he showed us around time and we had a great experience.
This was a great tour of the city. Tanya asked some initial questions so that the tour was tailored to our needs and then we were off. We had arrived the night before and gained a great knowledge of where to go and when to do it from Tanya. It is also a great experience in the tuk tuk. Thank you Team and thank you Tanya!!
We had great time learning about history of the city. Guide was very nice and crushing around the city in tuk tuk was super fun.
We had the best experience! Nuno our guide was so knowledgeable and shared his vast understanding of the Portuguese way of life. He shared all the best advice and helped us learn our way around Porto. I highly recommend the TukTuk tour as a way to see all the best sights. And ask for Nuno! He was funny and provided great commentary about the city. Nuno was so personable. You will have a wonderful and fun tour!
A fantastic way to see some of Porto’s highlights, including some amazing photo spots. Our guide, Leandro, was knowledgeable, friendly, and knew the city incredibly well. He customised the route based on what we wanted to see and was especially considerate of my mother, who is older and has some mobility limitations, making sure every stop was accessible and comfortable for her. Given how hilly Porto is, this was the perfect way for her to experience some of the city’s best sights. Highly recommended!
Leandro was fun, friendly and knowledgeable. He took us all around the city in his “Ferrari“, showed us the best views and secret spots, drove us out to the coast for the sunset and gave us lots of recommendations (restaurants, bars, shops). It was a great way to get to know the city. Highly recommended- thank you!
Our guide/driver Tanya was fantastic. She drove us to all the major sites to see and had lots of funny comments based on her experiences living in Porto. Tanya knew all the history and it was a wonderful experience to spend time with her. Even in the Bolhao Market she knew her way around and what to see and stay away from. At the end of the tour she drove us right to our hotel!
Great way to see so much so quickly with some stops at less crowded sites with a knowledgeable and engaging guide
This is a must do tour in Porto. We had Nuno azaure Driver. He was great. I was around Porto and giving us tips on restaurants and what to do and not to do. I would definitely recommend the tour. Thanks Nuno!!
Rui created an outstanding and enjoyable experience. He was fun and informative throughout the tour. It’s hard to believe he has been doing this less than a year. We really enjoyed the time with him. Highly recommend.
Jose was great! It was a perfect activity to get acquainted with Porto and see some things off the beaten path.
The best way to quickly explore Porto when first visiting the city. We got to see many points of interests without having to walk everywhere! Our guide Ana was awesome! Very informative with great recommendations!
We very much enjoyed this tuk tuk tour! Our guide spoke many different languages and was able to speak to us in our language. We hit major sites and got local insights that we otherwise would not have known. We were offered photo opportunities. At the end she dropped us where we wanted to go. The only thing was the tour says 1-2 hrs so I didn't really know what to expect. Our tour was 1hr 15 mins which felt a little short for the price, but overall it was great.
Great way to get your bearings. We took this tour on our first day in Porto and found so much helpful information. Our driver, Nunu, was so funny but also gave a lot of great advice about where to eat, areas to avoid because they’re overpriced, etc.
History, unusual views from back streets, flexible tour based on your preference. If you need a break or want another option, no problem.
There’s a long list of sites offered but our driver decided for us that many of them were “tourist traps’ or “rip-offs” so we didn’t see many of them. When the tour was over I felt like I’d seen nor learned almost nothing of Porto. I was disappointed and went back to the list and realized how many places we did not see or were glossed over. I am a travel agent and like tuk tuk tours. This one left a bad taste in my mouth for Porto. However, my husband and I went to some of the places on our own and realized what a great city but really is. The driver was a lot at first but his personality did grow on me however, I would not recommend this tour with this company.
Our driver Nono was a fantastic guide ! He supplied historical and current information and tips on the best places to shop and to eat. He was very entertaining too and his English was excellent. A brilliant introduction to the city of Porto and well worth the cost. Highly recommended
A very informative and concise tuk tuk tour of Porto and Gaia. Given with interest and pride in his job and his love of Porto. Thoroughly enjoyed our tour and guide.
Leandro was an amazing tour guide! Porto streets are steep—it was so nice to tour in tuk tuk…Porto is such a beautiful city!
If you want to learn about the city, good restaurants and spots to visit, I’d recommend going with another company. We drove around on a tuk tuk that had broken seat belts and while we visited a few cool places, the tour seemed subpar at best.
Really friendly and informative tour guide. Explained everything in great detail and even took pictures of myself and hubby to remember the day. A massive thank you to Bruno our tour guide
Leandro was wonderful! Great conversation, great sights, wonderful company! We would highly recommend to anyone interested in seeing Porto without walking all the hills!
Great way to see the city and get a sense of where’s what! Nunu was our guide and he was the best! Highly recommend, especially if you’re only in Porto for a short time.
Very informative and a great tour guide. The tuk tuk was great fun. A definite must in your Porto itinerary.
Great way to see the city, guide was knowledgeable and gave us good recommendations for seeing the sunset.
Highly recommend!!! Nuno was an amazing guide! He was so full of knowledge! I learned so much about Porto and the country of Portugal! Nuno made this tour fun and interesting!! Do yourself a favor and book your Tuk Tuk tour!!
Ana is a great guide, very friendly and knowledgable. Saw all the sites we planned to see on the day.
This Tuk Tuk tour could not only get into many corners of the city otherwise too narrow but also spares you some extensive hill climbing. Our Guide, Leandro treated us to some “secret” vistas as well as the well known sites. He provided personalized commentary and was genuinely friendly and enthusiastic.
Great tour guide. He not only showed us Porto historical areas but went over to Gaia along the ocean to the little church in the water. Should take the tour early in your visit
What a great introduction to the city. Leandro was so informative and helpful! So much fun! A must do!
Leandro was great… funny, smart and happy to answer all of our questions. We would happily do his tour again
Despite the weather our guide was very knowledgeable. We covered all the main sights and even managed to get a sunset over the city. A very good and interesting trip.
We had an excellent tour with Tanya! Saw a lot in a short time, learned a bit about Porto and had a great time. I would highly recommend this tour!
The best afternoon touring the city- highly recommend. Porto is amazing and we would have never seen 1/2 of the city without this experience. 10 out of 10!!!!!
We had a wonderful time on this tour! We learned the lay of the city and saw so much! We stopped and took pictures at several stops! A must tour on your first day in Porto!
Great experience, Anna was very friendly, informative, and helpful. Great guide and nice introduction to the city of Porto.
We had the best time with Leandro. He was friendly, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. He took us to some “off the beaten path” spots and took some really cute pictures for us. He also recommended some spots for dinner and a wonderful tasting room for port wines. The tour was 1.5 hours and that was the perfect amount of time. I saw some that were cheaper and only 50 minutes. I highly recommend taking the 1.5 hour tour.
Our guide Anna was excellent, very knowledgeable, thoughtful, providing an excellent background and where to visit. This is an ideal way to orientate yourself at the start of a visit.
Leandro was our guide for the tour. We found him to be knowledgeable, helpful as well as very friendly. We felt it was a great way to learn about the history of the city. We highly recommend
Jose is a gem! What an informative and personalized tour of Porto and Jose's home town of Gaia. We learned the history of Porto and Gaia and we were brought to the most beautiful lookout spots. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Absolutely fantastic Great guide Very knowledgeable and friendly A great way to get to know Porto Highly recommend
Our tour guide is friendly. But this is one of the tours that we don't get much out of it. There are a few hard to get by spots that might takes us longer time to find and explore on our own. Other than that, the tour is only designed to serve as a transport and some basic introduction on the place to visit - I think you probably get more information with hop-on-off buses. So, if you are on a time crunch, maybe try this or other similar tours, otherwise, skip it, save the money for activities that you could do more in-depth.
Leandro Baptista was great. He gave me a t Leandro Baptista was great. He gave me a very thorough and interesting TuK Tuk tour. I couldn’t have seen half the sites on my own walking. Highly recommend.
