The location was a little difficult to find, otherwise it was a very enjoyable tour. It takes place at Villa Nova de Gaia or simply Gaia. Your is divided into coffee and pastry, Port house tour and tasting, sandwich tasting, and last stop cod and beer . Out guide was excellent and very informative. We enjoyed the port tour and tasting the best.

Start your morning with a traditional local pastry called the Bishop, a puff pastry base covered with sweet egg cream and shredded coconut, paired with a rich espresso. A delightful combo of sweet and bold flavors that captures the essence of Porto’s breakfast culture.
We have the key to the vintage room at Real Companhia Velha, the oldest Portuguese-owned port wine company in existence. We'll unlock it together to enjoy a curated tasting of four port wines: white, rosé, ruby, and tawny. Discover the rich flavors and history of Portugal’s most famous fortified wine in an iconic, centuries-old cellar.
At Mercearia do Bernardino, savor traditional Portuguese flavors with a codfish fritter, rich tomato rice, and a glass of crisp white wine. A cozy spot offering a genuine taste of local culinary traditions.
Dive into Porto’s iconic comfort food with a Francesinha tasting, Porto’s legendary sandwich layered with cured meats, steak, and melted cheese, all smothered in a rich, tomato‑beer sauce. Pair it with a Super Bock beer for a truly local, indulgent experience.
Pass by the vibrant Bordalo II street art, where the artist transforms trash and recycled materials into colorful, larger-than-life animal sculptures. A striking and playful display blending creativity with environmental awareness.

Absolutely fantastic. Loved the wine cave and tastings. Diego was a pleasure. Highly recommend this tour.
The highlight was the port tasting, tour, and secret cave! Food tasting and tour with Diogo was a perfect introduction to Porto.
We had a brilliant tour with Rib! Really informative, great fun and a lovely way to learn more about Porto. We enjoyed it so much we even made up a Diogo song for him! 😂 Thanks for a fantastic experience would definitely recommend!
Leonor is an excellent guide, and I mean excellent!
Wonderful day and much information and drink and food. The port stop was the best, such history and the port vault was amazing!
11/10, great experience! Ribas was such an amazing guide. He was very knowledgeable, so friendly, and made excellent selections for our food and drink stops.
Our host G was fab, he was so knowledgeable especially when we were in the port caves. We would highly recommend him. The only down side for us was we would have liked to have sampled more of the local food.
This was Amazing … D was super, nice sweet, funny and knowledgeable. Enjoyed learning all the history of Port Wine and D brought the extra feeling of learning about Portuguese culture . Would definitely recommend this tour.
Diogo was the best!!! Made my last day in Porto memorable…made me not want to leave!! He was also very informative and entertaining.
Wonderful tour with good food, drinks and a very great guide
G did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend this tour.
This was such a fun way to explore Porto, specifically the area of Vila Nova de Gaia. Our tour guide Leo was super knowledgeable and friendly, and it was such a fun day walking around and eating delicious food. we were definitely stuffed full at the end of it!
Diogo was amazing! We had a great group that got along well and enjoyed each other's company. Diogo was knowledgeable about the area, the food and told great stories. The port wine tasting was fantastic!
Diogo was amazing. A great food and port tasting experience!
After wandering through Porto on our own, and doing a couple of tours around old town, this tour takes you off the beaten path on the Gaia side that you wouldn’t get to experience otherwise. Leo guided us through the narrow and authentic neighborhoods where locals go about their everyday lives. The food is simply authentic, and the Porto tour was incredibly informative…which after the tastings we can’t remember half of our newly acquired wisdom.
Leo gave us such a great tour. Besides her immense wine knowledge, she took us through the narrow neighborhoods reflecting .the regional cultural telling us “the hills are the essence of the region”.
We had a wonderful experience! The tour was delightful - lots of good food, lots of good information and great discussions. This is a great way to see and learn about a new city when we travel!!
Daniella was great. Fun to learn about city and try local food. Come hungry. And thirsty.
Loved it! Diogo was fantastic. His interaction with us was just right and his sharing during the tour was just right.
Ribas was spectacular as our guide. Highly recommend!!!!!
Leonor was phenomenal!!! Her vast knowledge of port wines and exclusive access to the cellars were unmatched! This was by far the best food tour experience I’ve ever had. Her fun approach to the history and her charming personality made my day feel as though I spent it with a dear friend! I would book with her again in a heartbeat!
Our food tour with Leonor and a lovely couple from Australia was exceptional: fun, entertaining, warm, and delicious! The five of us shared a wonderful afternoon at four amazing locations, starting with pastry and coffee, followed by a delicious tasting and history of Port wines, an amazing meal of Francesinha, and, for me as a pescatarian, a wonderful meat-free alternative with astounding flavors. We ended with codfish fritters and a delicious tomato rice soup dish. It truly felt like sharing an afternoon meal with good friends. Along the way, we learned so much about the history of Gaia, Porto, and Portugal while experiencing the local gastronomy. So worth it! Thank you, Leonor! You are amazing!
A wonderful day with a knowledgeable & lively guide. Thank you Leonor
Excellent tour guide, D! Appreciated supporting small businesses.
Great way to spend time in Porto. Tour of winery the highlight

LEO IS EXCEPTIONAL. She is so knowledgeable , charismatic and confident!
Leo was amazing and the food was incredible! Great education and culture
Leo is incredible so informative, and sexy!!
Diogo was super knowledgeable and kind. We started with pastries and coffee, followed by port wine tasting, and finished with a two course lunch. I was worried we’d get too full or walk too much but this wasn’t the case. The highlight for me was the vintage wine cellar full of mold and it was quite an experience. We appreciated the fact that we went to all the local spots with a local guide to explain all the culture and history.
Excellent food and port wine tour! Diogo, our guide was excellent. He took us to some great local restaurants and to the very old winery where we got a real behind the scenes tour. We were tasted 4 lovely ports, a white, rose, ruby and tawny. The 10 year old white was tje favorite! For food, we started the tour at a little coffee shop for espresso and pastry. After that we walked to the winery for the tour and tasting. For lunch we had 2 local dishes and were offered beer wine or soda. There is about 40 minutes of walking on the tour, so comfortable shoes are a must on the cobblestones. Overall this was a wonderful intro to Porto food and wine. Thank you Diogo for a great day!
Goncalo was an amazing tour guide. Friendly, personable and extremely knowledgeable. Food and wine was outstanding, would do it all again@
Ribas was such an amazing guide! He was so lovely, friendly, and welcoming, and made the experience feel like I was just hanging out with a friend. He made everything so fun and relaxed, and you could really tell how much he cared about making sure everyone had a great time. I couldn’t recommend him enough!
Such an amazing experience! Ribas was our guide and we had such an incredible time and learned a lot about the history of Porto, Port Wine and Porto culture! Thank you so much!
Wonderful experience with Ribas!
Loved it! Tried so many fun things and good included drinks. G was great
We absolutely loved our tour with Diogo. He was friendly and knowledgeable and we would highly recommend him. He was patient with our constant questions and a wealth of information. Thank you Diogo!!

Great tour with lots of delicious food! D was a fantastic guide with lots of stories from growing up in Porto. Worth your time and money!
Absolutely amazing, all stars go to D!
I had an absolutely wonderful experience on my tour of Portugal with Leonor. She was amazing from start to finish; friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing the history and culture of Portugal. We had great conversations throughout the tour, and I learned so much about the country, its history, and its culture. Leonor made the experience feel personal and enjoyable rather than simply being a typical tour. It was a beautiful experience, and having Leonor as our guide made it even more memorable. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely wonderful tour guide! Thank you, Leonor, for such a memorable experience!
This was the best tour ever. Leonor was such an insightful guide. We truly enjoyed this tour such a knowledge and kind soul. 100% will recommend you ask for her when you book.
Hugo is an excellent guide. He is a chef and a local, so he knows how and what the locals eat,how the food should be cooked. What should be authentic or not. It is a true experience of what Porto people eat.
G was a fantastic guide. Not only did he give us information about the food and wine, but also the history of the winery and the city. He had a lot a local knowledge of the town and the people. We even met the owners of the restaurants who were local families. I highly recommend for anyone visiting Porto and definitely ask for G!!!
