This was great fun. We booked the tickets on the morning and chose to go back late afternoon early evening to do the guided tour. We were lucky enough to be the only people there and ended up with a private tour - our guide was Isabel who was brilliant. Very knowledgeable and really engaged with us. The arena is super and a really unique building. The climb was fun and not difficult. You are rewarded with the most spectacular views of the gardens of Palacio de Cristal, Porto, Gaia and the River Douro. Our guide highlighted several buildings to us and you get a very different perspective of this wonderful city.

Helena was a superb guide - explained everything comprehensively but took time to answer questions too! An awesome view from the top and well worth climbing the stairs; with a wee surprise thrown in!!
I showed up at the ticket booth without advance notice and within ten minutes I was starting my guided tour! I was the only person on my tour. My guide, Isabel, was very knowledgeable about the Super Bock Arena and about the city of Porto. She was also a friendly person with a kind heart, not at all burnt out by the experience of daily dealings with tourists. I had enjoyed the views from the Crystal Palace Gardens many times before and they are not to be missed. The advantage of this experience is that you are above the trees, construction cranes, people, and other things that may obscure the view. Having someone point out key landmarks enhances the experience and really helps you orient yourself during your stay in Porto. I learned a lot and enjoyed a sunny day in Porto. Thanks Isabel, Janis Carter
The view is fantastic and there are a lot of theme for the pictures in the park and further toward to Gaia or to the Ocean. There was enough time to take pictures. My guide, Isabel, knows a lot about the city and its history. Her explanations were not about the dates, but about the real people. It was very impressive. Thank you! I visited the Casa Museu Fernado de Castro and that tour was also fantastic. The team was very flexible to support my schedule.
Amazing tour-highly recommended. Lindsey is AMAZING!!! Best views of Luis bridge and the city!!! Better than the tower
Great views even on a drizzly day. Our guide, Barbara, was very pleasant and informative. Highly recommended of you don't mind climbing a few steps.
We had booked our tour for 1000 on Saturday, 10th May 2025,the second last day of our weeks City break in Porto. However,we were a bit worried as we were the only 2 people there at the time. But,our tour guide, a lovely lady whose name we sadly didn`t gather, was happy to do the tour with just the two of us. Firstly, we climbed to the first floor where there were photographs showing the Crystal Palace, which once stood on this site, and explaining its history and decline. Our guide was very informative and her English was impeccable. Having covered the history of the building, she now led us up the winding staircase to the roof terrace. Regretably, at this point, there was a serious downfall that sent us back into the building.Of course, we were disappointed, but our guide told us we can come back later if the rain goes off and she will take us up onto the roof again. Having seen that there was definitely a brighter sky between the heavy band of cloud passing over,we opted to remain at the Arena and have coffee and custard cake at their cafe.As we ate, the clouds passed over and our guide passed by and gave us a hopeful thumbs up. By the time the rain had cleared,a Portugese family with two children had turned up and were buying tickets for the tour. Our guide asked if we minded that she would be repeating the first part ,but in Portugese, before taking us back to the roof. Of course we didn`t mind! By the time we all got to the roof, the rain was gone and the sun was splitting the sky. The views were simply stunning, out over the Duoro and over to Gaia. Our guide paid equal attention to both us and the family, pointing out the viewpoints in both languages. There was no time pressure at all and we took a lot of photographs. Then, the guide disappeared and returned with a trolley from which we were served a lovely glass of Tawny port in a chocolate tumber...Delicious! Then we descended and said our goodbyes and went our seperate ways. A wonderful experience!
Pedro was really gentle and he showed us the beautiful view of the city. It was a great experience and i enjoyed it a lot; i recommend it
I really raccomend visiting this place for enjoing a beatiful view of the city and especially with the guide Pedro! It was a beautiful experience
A really beautiful and spectacular visit. You can see all the city from the top of the building. I really really recommend it
Place where we were is very special in history both Portugal and Porto city. Super Bock Arena is crucial place because in previous time there was a lighthouse which helps a ships to navigate along the river. I highly encourage to visit and explore this place, and because of transmission of the knowledge from our guide ( very passionate and experienced lady from Brazil ) and looked at breathtaking views you can feel unspoiled vibe of the city on the top of the hall.
We turned up on spec to look at the stadium and a tour was starting in five minutes. So we joined in. The 360 tour which was great fun. A very informative and friendly history was given by our guide. Super views from the top. A mystery treat was given during our walk around the top of the roof.
So glad we stumbled across this. Barbara took our tour and she was amazing! So informative and fun, she really made our experience the best.
Interesting and unusual experience, with a helpful and friendly guide. Great views. Possibly a little over priced and had hidden fees added online so was a 4 not a 5
We went to the Crystal Palace Gardens and decided to take this tour. It provided a great introduction to the history of the gardens and to Porto. It is an easy climb to the top where you get great views of the city. Isabel our guide was friendly and informative and provided a very pleasant surprise at the top. All-in-all a great experience and recommended as part of the visit to the gardens.
Too expensive for the visiting time.
And with a cup of chocolate with Porto wine. Perfect
I was very positively surprised by this experience. The visit is very well organized and, along the way, we will get to know the history of the Super Bock Arena and the Gardens of the Crystal Palace. The highlight is undoubtedly to reach the top of the dome and enjoy the 360° view over the Porto, Gaia and the Douro River. Our guide was Isabel and in addition to being very friendly, explained everything clearly, making the visit even more interesting. It is a different experience than usual and an excellent way to get to know a less known side of the city. I recommend it both for those who visit Porto for the first time and for those who already know the city and are looking for a new experience.
Fabulous views, worth it, plus the very friendly guide. He didn't speak Spanish, but he understood himself without problems
Pleasant, but providing little 'adrenaline'... I thought it would be a more exciting experience, eventually on a larger ladder. It is worth the views over the Port and the river, and it is one of those things you must do to get to know, taking advantage of what the city has at its disposal.
Interesting the climb to the top of the Pavilion Rosa Mota (Super Bock Arena), through the outside staircase of the dome, at the Crystal Palace. Good views over the cities of Porto and Gaia, if the climate allows... It is good to do in days and hours with good luminosity, so it is worth admiring the landscape. The staircase doesn't 'frighten' anyone, the climb / descent is made without much difficulty. Give good pictures!
My mom and I loved the experience. It was a very interesting and fun visit. Our guide Angela was of an extreme sympathy and availability. He showed us the Pavilion and told us the story in a captivating way. The view is wonderful! We caught “a day at Porto”, which provided beautiful moments. We highly recommend this visit and then a nice walk through the Gardens ☺️
Super interesting experience, even for those from Porto, there are surprises like this in the city. The views are stunning! Congratulations to the fantastic guide Angela who in addition to being a sympathy, learned to explain in a clear and exciting way the history of the place and the building, in a perfect English!
The views were amazing, we took lots of pictures. The only other way was the inner wheelchair that gives access to the entrance where the bars are filled with dust to the point that my niece has been left with black hands. The bar area could have had a milder air. Because it's almost impossible to stay there for more than 2 minutes. But the sympathy of Priscilla and guide Barbara are SUPER. Thank you
The views are beautiful but the price is excessive to the level of experience. From the palace gardens we have the same views and even more beautiful surrounded by the greenery of the trees.
Simply spectacular! Porto 360° offers one of the most amazing views of the city of Porto. The feeling of being on top, with a 360-degree panoramic view of the river Douro, the iconic bridges and roofs of the city, is breathtaking. It is the perfect place to take amazing photos and enjoy the most beautiful sunset in the city. The environment is super welcoming, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. A must-see point for those who visit the port! — Jean Carlos and Diego Vitorino JDPORTUGAL
