Porto To Douro Valley Private Transfer Up To 4 Stops

We had a wonderful experience with Alfonso on our private transfer from Porto to the Douro Valley. Pickup was seamless, and he was very flexible with our schedule. We stopped in Amarante, enjoyed a fantastic lunch at DOC, and made a brief stop in Régua before reaching our hotel. Alfonso was personable, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable about the region. His family is from the area near DOC, so he brought a great local perspective to the trip. He also shared excellent recommendations for restaurants and quintas to visit during our stay. What could have been a simple transfer turned into a really enjoyable introduction to the Douro Valley. Highly recommend Alfonso!

He was friendly and easy to talk to, and shared lots of interesting information about the area, from its history and geography to the beautiful scenery along the way. We had a fabulous experience from the booking with Diana to the day with Manuel. Diana was helpful in choosing cities to visit and creating a great day for our group of two couples. Manuel was our driver and was wonderful- on time(even early) for our transfer Porto to Duoro Valley with stops. He was a safe driver and had recommendations for shopping/lunch spots in each town we visited. He even took photos of our group and sent on what’s app. Would recommend 100%!

Miguel was great. Friendly and super enjoyable experience. Born and raised in Porto and super knowledgeable about the area, as well as the Duoro and the way down to Lisbon. We loved our conversations with him. I don’t think he expects to chat through every ride with every rider but naturally, for us, it just happened and it was great. It was like hanging out with a buddy for a couple hours. A buddy who can tell you exactly where you are, some history behind each area and more. We couldn’t have had a better time in the Duoro and with Miguel as our driver/new friend.

Paulo was prompt and patient with picking me up from Porto airport given my flight was delayed by an hour. He drove very safely late at night from Porto airport to my villa in Douro Valley. So safe that I felt very comfortable taking a nap in the backseat on the 1 1/2 hour journey. I would definitely book him again on my next trip.

With only 4 days in the D valley, Lawrance Klein was able to thread the needle to see multiple vineyards,educate & view the intricacies of the centuries of wine & port production from this region. His exceptional command of the English language and world knowledge made him especially invaluable to our groups understanding of the plethora of history and complexity of this colorful country. Plan first to go to Portugal, but only if Lawrance is available during your stay.

What a delightful adventure. We had Jose as our tour guide and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better! He was kind and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Jose was charismatic and a really great driver! The cities we visited were gorgeous and he made sure that we have as many adventures as we could! Would definitely recommend and would request again when we return!!!!

Nuno is the best! I live in central Portugal and was trying to figure out logistics of my driving to meet family at OPO/Porto airport and for all of us to spend the weekend on the river in Porto. We came up with the perfect plan to park at the airport and hire transportation to the riverfront. It was perfect! Nuno was prompt, dropped us off right in front of our hotel, helped with ours bags, and gave us great ideas for food and sightseeing. We will definitely use the service again.

Easy transfer from the airport to our hotel in the Douro Valley. Clean car, no challenge finding the driver even though our flight was delayed and we arrived late.

Everything was so easy. Company called and confirmed pickup location, we got off our flight and driver was waiting for us with our name on a sign. Our driver, Pedro, was so nice and got us to our destination no problems. Definitely would use Meridian4People for other activities while in portugal.
