We visited one of Porto’s most famous food markets, sampled all kinds of traditional fare, explored local bakeries, visited a specialty restaurant, and finished up at a fantastic food hall. Our guide was wonderful! Lots of great food through out the tour and history of the different foods typical to the region. Go with an empty stomach, because you will definitely be full at the end of the tour. Also many different wines, beer and other drinks.

It is amazing ! Just come back from the food experience tour with Sue. She is amazing accompany to walk around the market, the city. We tried different wine, olive oil, tapas, meat, seafood dishes in different place. I learnt so much from her related to Portuguese food scene and daily life. We both have a great accompany with each other and have a great time. I highly recommend to everyone who would like to know more about food in Portugal.

Gemny hosted a wonderful tour with more than 5 different bars and food spots in Porto, starting at the famous Bolhao Market and not missing local specialities! we loved it. It is a pleasure to be able to have this experience with a guide who knows perfectly about the history of food in Portugal. We really enjoyed the Bolhon market. The vendors have been in the market for over 60 years and were run by their owners. We visited 5 different places in Porto, each with a different history and taste.
