Guide did not show up . I had many emails via Viator confirming our tour however the guide never showed. We contacted the company but they could not get a hold of the guide.
Rosa was a fantastic guide! She knew so much history and shared it in a very easily digestible way. Rosa showed us all around Porto, from winding alleys to bridges, we got to see it all! We walked all around Porto but thanks to Rosa and her expertise on the area never felt like we were going up/down the whole time. She made lots of suggestions of things to do, which helped with filling our time during the rest of our visit. Rosa surprised us with cookies baked by nuns and monks as our snack, as well as a visit to Mosteiro de São Bento da Vitória. This tour was amazing and a great way to start our trip to Portugal!

This is a great tour at a relaxed pace, but still covering a good amount of ground. We stayed mostly out of the crowds and saw several sights that aren't on all of the "big attractions" lists. We loved having a private guide who knew the area, the sights, and plenty of history about the city. Speaking of guides, Carlos was amazingly friendly and accommodating with anything we asked about. He's just a super friendly and smart guy all around. I can't recommend him enough!

Highly recommend getting a guide to familiarize yourself with new city to get the lay of the land before venturing on your own. If you want to understand the history and culture of Porto – including how country formation, religion, and economic changes shape current times -- Orlando is a remarkable guide. Our guide Helena was fun but also so knowledgeable about the history of Porto and also having been a local for years, was able to talk about more recent culture and information, as well. Took us through the city to avoid less hills but still brought us to important locations. Three hours didn’t feel too long - was the perfect amount of time!
This is a fantastic walking tour. Be prepared for a lot of walking up and down steep streets though. Our guide, Rosa, was fantastic. So knowledgeable about the city and its history and showed us some local gems. Amazing secret place we stopped for a snack with her. Definitely request Rosa if you take this tour.

Jose Luis was our guide and was EXCELLENT! We stopped off at so many cool little spots like the Lello Library, Sao Bento Train Station, Porto Cathedral, and meandered through the streets of Porto giving us a great history lesson of the area. He is a local who has witnessed first hand the revitalization of Porto so it was so cool to hear the history of the country but also how the area has become such a tourist destination over the years.
We had a great morning with Jose Luis. Our conversations with him helped us understand some of the history and culture of Portugal as we visited various sites. All while minimizing uphill climbs! Highly recommend booking a tour with him.
We had a great tour with Ana. She was very nice and knowledgable, We toured many of the main attractions as well as some out of the way spots including a vintage tile, storage area and a cool store with only Portuguese made items. We had a break with variety of pasteries. We also had great views of the river and ended up near the water.
