Absolutely great experience; perfect tour, team and service!

Would 1000% recommend. We booked this last minute and we couldn’t reccomend it more. Sergio and Susanna were were incredible. Absolute highlight of the holiday. If we hear longer we would have done it again. We had such a lovely time on the boat with Susana and Sergio. There were 6 of us friends and they were both so welcoming and friendly. We were able to add our own choice of songs to the playlist, they made sure to top up our drinks, and we could just relax and enjoy ourselves without it ever feeling awkward or too formal. The charcuterie and wine were great, and the whole evening had such a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Susana and Sergio were amazing hosts and really made the experience. Would definitely recommend! We did the 6pm booking which was perfect for us.

The absolute highlight of our trip to Porto! Susana was a knowledgeable and informative guide, providing some great local facts about the area as well as some great food and wine. Sergio was a brilliant driver, taking us down the river all the way to the mouth. The views were incredible and I highly recommend doing the private hire for a more intimate experience as a couple or small group of friends.

The loveliest experience! We paid for a private tour and it was worth every penny. Susana and Sérgio are perfect hosts who clearly enjoy sharing their love and knowledge of their locality, plus they are delightful company. Their hospitality is second to none! Their boat is beautiful and the food and drink was both plentiful and of excellent quality. In the two hours we had, we travelled all way to the mouth of the river, and we were thrilled to be able to spend so much time near the nature reserve, as bird-watching is a passion of ours. Thank you Captain Sérgio for getting us so close! And Susana, we’re so happy that you got to see the flamingoes with us! PS Happy Anniversary for tomorrow! We spent a wonderful two hours cruising through Porto with Susana and Sergio, sipping wine and eating tapas. Being out on the Douro as the sun set and seeing the colours changing on the hills and buildings was a delight. Our hosts made us feel very welcome and relaxed from the beginning. They are both very knowledgeable about Porto and northern Portugal as a whole, happily providing us with recommendations of other beautiful places that are worth visiting when we return. If you want a private river cruise away from the crowds then this is the one to go for. We would have no hesitation in recommending their tour to any family and friends who are planning a trip to Porto.

Susana and her husband were great! We toured the river, looked at all of the bridges and saw the beautiful views you wouldn't be able to see on land! Susana provided drinks and snacks (you will be full :)) nonstop and made sure to accommodate our allergies. Highly recommend this peaceful beautiful baot experience.

This was a a lovely way to spend an afternoon on the water with friends, wine and a light repast. Even my husband, who is not a fan of boating or water, enjoyed it. Our hosts were wonderful and accommodating. I highly recommend this when you are in Porto.

We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children under 3 years old. Susana and her husband were very accommodating, catered to us and the kids. This was a wonderful experience and one of the highlights of the trip. If you are looking for a kid friendly private boat tour like I was this is it !

Booked this experience as a surprise gift for my mom’s birthday and it was so worth it. We’d do it all over again (and we definitely will!). The value for money is absolutely incredible, with everything this tour had to offer. We spent an amazing 2 hours out on the river and went much farther than expected, which was awesome. Susana and Sérgio were AMAZING! Some of the nicest guides we’ve ever met who gave us the experience of a lifetime (and for sure one of the best in Porto). We had the boat all to ourselves, which was perfect for what we wanted as a little private get together to celebrate. I couldn’t recommend this experience more, if you’re debating it, don’t look any further, just do it! You’ll have a beautiful view, yummy food, amazing guides, and the feel of luxury. Absolutely the highlight of our time in Porto! We had such an amazing time on this private boat tour! The hosts, Susana and Sergio were genuinely lovely, so warm, friendly and welcoming, and they made the whole experience feel really special from start to finish. We’d happily do it all over again!

Susana & her husband Sergio really made it a perfect evening. Book them for a private cruise without any distractions. Perfect boat for both sun canopy cover in back or laying in comfort in front bow. They were nice enough to take us into the ocean - no other cruise will do this! They turned the boat around plenty so we could always get the best sunset pictures. And to top it all off plenty of wine and a fantastis charcuterie spread. Susana became a friend of the course of the ~2+ hours and we chatted far beyond just Porto. Can't recommend enough!!

This experience was so wonderful!! We last minute wanted to book a sunset boat ride and couldn’t be happier we chose this. Meeting spot was easy and the boat was perfect. We learned a bit about the city as we embarked and sipped wine/ snacked but then were given time to sit on the front and just enjoy!! A perfect combo of learning and relaxation. Brilliant experience, lovely people and great fun

This is a great way to see Porto from the river. The hosts were really friendly & made us feel at ease aboard their boat. They dished up a delicious tapas with green wine which was also delicious. Susanna was very informative & answered any questions we had. A great way to spend a couple of hours in Porto. Would definitely recommend

Despite the weather, this cruise was excellent! It felt like we were cruising with our friends. Susanna and Sergio did a terrific job with wonderful wine, charcuterie, and a great cruise down the Douro river, including good conversation! Definitely book this trip worth it! The boat was immaculate!

We,really enjoyed the trip with Sergio and Sussanah. We had a private motorboat all to ourself and a 2 hour journey past all the bridges to the ocean and back with Susannah giving interesting explanations. The front of the boat had fitted cushioning where we lay out and enjoyed the sun view and music. There was also lovely generous charcuterie cheeses crackers chips and fresh strawberries along with a choice of wines and a port to finish. We really really enjoyed it thanks!

Worth it. Lovely boat and couple manning it. Sparkling wine, vinho verde, port, juice, and water along with an amazing charcuterie platter. Great narration along the way and able to answer lots of questions.

What an amazing experience! Picking a river cruise can feel daunting, but Susanna and Serge made it easy — they’re friendly, full of local insight, and clearly love what they do. Seeing the city from the river gives you a whole new appreciation for it. I’d highly recommend this to anyone!

Good wine, good food and good company! We had rainy weather that day but we still made the most of our time on the boat. Susana and Sergio offered to refund us because of the weather but we decided to go ahead with our trip and we’re so happy we did. They really took care of us. You can tell they care about their guests and the experiences they have.

Our private tour was fabulous. Very relaxing and informative. Our hosts were so gracious that you felt like friends rather than strangers. It was truly the best of our tours. Very easy to get to. Our best experience in Porto. Lovely, leisure trip on the Duoro river to where it meets the ocean. Ana and Sergio were excellent hosts and we really enjoyed our last night in Porto watching the sunset from the river on a private boat.

It felt more like spending an evening with old friends than a typical tour. We loved hearing their stories about the city, their family, and life along the Douro River. The views were stunning, but it was Susana and Sergio’s genuine hospitality that made the experience unforgettable. The cheeses and charcuterie that you served, were very delicious, as was the wine and Port. You were wonderful hosts and we both would highly recommend this trip.
