Dedicated to Our Lady of Grace, it is especially venerated by fishermen and seafarers, and is the setting for one of the city’s oldest pilgrimages, held annually in honor of the patron saint. Drawn in the 18th century, this church stands out for its facade covered in traditional Portuguese tiles, which illustrate religious scenes with a very unique charm. Crystal Palace Gardens – The City’s Green Viewpoint. At the Superstar of the hills of Porto, with a privileged view over the Douro River, you’ll find the stunning Crystal Palace Gardens, a true oasis of tranquility and beauty in the heart of the city. Designed in the 19th century by German landscape architect Émile David, the gardens offer a harmonious combination of romantic avenues, serene lakes and breathtaking viewpoints. It is one of the most beloved places for Porto residents to stroll, have picnics or simply admire the view over the Douro, Gaia and the ocean in the background. From the sailboat, the gardens seem suspended above the city, a magical setting that becomes even more special at sunset.
Porto Customs Congress Centre – A Historical Icon on the Douro River. Located on the right bank of the Douro River, in the heart of Porto’s historic centre, the Porto Customs Congress Centre is one of the city’s most iconic buildings. Originally built between 1859 and 1869 as the “New Customs House” on the former Miragaia beach, this neoclassical building was designed by French architect Jean-François Colson. Its construction represented one of the most significant urban transformations of the 19th century in Porto, including the connection to Campanhã Station by a railway line in 1888.
Cais de Gaia, located on the south bank of the Douro River in Villa Nova de Gaia, is one of the most emblematic areas of the Porto region, combining history, culture and leisure with a stunning view of the historic centre of Porto. For centuries, Cais de Gaia was a vital river port, especially for the transport of Port wine. Traditional rabelo boats brought the barrels from the Alto Douro to the cellars in Gaia, where the wine was aged and prepared for export.
Serra do Pilar Monastery – World Heritage Menu Publisher with a View of the Kings. On the Superstar of the hill of Villa Nova de Gaia, with a privileged view over the Douro and the historic centre of Porto, stands the imposing Serra do Pilar Monastery, one of the most recognisable silhouettes of the Douro urban landscape. Ribeira do Porto – The Colorful Soul of the Invicta City. On the banks of the Douro, right next to the D. Louis I Bridge, lies Ribeira do Porto, one of the oldest and most authentic neighborhoods in the city – and without a doubt, one of the most charming. With its colorful houses stacked one on Superstar of the other, narrow cobbled streets and always lively terraces, Ribeira is the true historical heart of Porto. This picturesque and vibrant setting is so striking that it was recognized as a World Heritage Menu publisher by UNESCO. From the deck of the sailboat, the view is simply magical! Balconies with clothes drying, the reflections of the facades in the waters of the Douro and the hustle and bustle of local life mixed with street music. This is where Porto reveals itself in all its authenticity! Lively, proud and passionate. Here you have the opportunity to see Porto as it has been for centuries! Just outside Porto, where the Douro River meets the Atlantic Ocean, lies a true natural treasure : the Douro Estuary Local Nature Reserve. A protected area located on the south bank of the river, near the parish of Afurada, it is a sanctuary for over 200 species of birds and one of the last well-preserved estuarine refuges in an urban environment in Portugal. Here, among the marshes, reed beds and sandbanks, it is common to see several species of migratory birds. A surprising natural spectacle just a few minutes from the city centre.

This was truly so magical and so perfect. It was such a cool and unique way to see the city and Thullium was so accommodating to our group. The drinks and snacks were so good. Raquel and George took such good care of us and told us so many cool things about the city. I went with my family, specifically my dad who was diagnosed with dementia earlier this year, he loves sailboats and even wanted to retire at sea. Raquel and George were so kind and accommodating, they let him steer the boat for a bit and made sure we didn’t miss a single magical moment of the gorgeous sunset.

We organized this bachelorette party with great affection, sharing ideas, opinions, and expectations, looking for an experience that would allow us to create memories. And we can say, without any doubt, that we found exactly that. ❤️ We want to start by thanking Art Porto Events, who has been with us from the beginning. Sandra presented us the different proposals and accompanied the entire organization with incredible availability. Clarified all our doubts, sent us the information in a very organized way and helped us even with small details, like practical parking issues. Even without having had the opportunity to meet them in person, we always felt that they were present and available to help us, which gave us a lot of confidence and peace of mind throughout the entire process. Thank you very much, Sandra! ❤️ And then the big day arrived and we met Innisfree, from Thullium Sailboat. ⛵️ The boat has a very unique story. It has been stopped for many years and is now gaining a new life, through a restoration process done little by little, with a lot of dedication and care. It's not completely finished yet, but perhaps that is precisely what makes it so special to perceive the project and the story behind it. Innisfree has personality, history, and a very special atmosphere — and on 9/5/2026 it proved that it already has everything to provide unforgettable moments. But, without a doubt, one of the big surprises was the crew. Marília was wonderful. Despite being very young, he/she conveys an incredible calm, serenity, and maturity. She was always attentive, dear, and caring, making us feel immediately comfortable and accompanied. Zé, our captain, was equally tireless. He explained everything to us from the beginning, was always attentive and took enormous care of us, especially with our safety. A true professional, and human being. And then we have the other Zé... or rather, Pedro. 😂❤️ For some reason, I spent the whole day calling him Pedro. At one point, I already told you: "Okay, your mother is the one who got the name wrong, because you are Pedro and not Zé!" 😂 And he completely went along with the joke. But we also want to leave you a very special word. It was a real pleasure to have you with us. Always extremely respectful, polite, attentive, and genuinely available, he had an irreproachable demeanor and a very beautiful way of being with all of us. And there was something that told me that touched us particularly. He shared with us that what marked him most in that farewell was seeing our closeness, friendship, and the way we were united as women, and that he found that very beautiful. We laughed, danced, played games, ate, drank, listened to music, talked, went into the sea, and even got to see a beautiful sunset. 🌅 It was friendship, complicity, laughter, and the desire to celebrate a person we love. The crew made us feel cared for, safe, and truly welcome. There has always been respect, empathy, and a good disposition — and that is what turns a good experience into a truly unforgettable one. Therefore, our huge thanks to Art Porto Events, Sandra, Thullium Sailboat, and the entire magnificent crew of Innisfree. ❤️ Thank you for the organization, the support, the professionalism, and above all, for the care and affection you showed us. We recommend this open-hearted experience to anyone thinking of organizing a bachelorette party, a birthday, a party with friends, a special celebration, or simply wanting to live a different day. It was a memorable experience! We chose the tour to the sunset and the view did not disappoint! The staff is very friendly and helpful, very available, providing details about the city/architecture/history. Having let us also enjoy moments alone. There is a drink menu, available in several languages, that enriches the experience. There is something special about tasting a Porto wine while sailing the river Douro! We strongly recommend. We did this sailing tour and we can only say it was amazing! The hosts were genuine sympathy, always available, explaining everything and having a super pleasant conversation – it seemed like we were among friends. The experience was very relaxing, the sailing boat is spectacular and even the smallest have special attention: there is a library on board, special glasses and everything thought out to the detail so that no one stays out. The drinks and snacks prepared were great and added even more to the moment. We had already made other similar walks, but this one surprised us by going up to the sea, which made everything even more special. Definitely an experience to repeat and recommend!

A special thanks for an unforgettable tour aboard the Thulium I want to leave a deep thank you for a truly magical experience: a sailing ride through the serene waters of the Douro, in the wonderful city of Porto, aboard the elegant Thulium. The charming Afurada, where the river meets the sea and the traditions still live in the streets. Navigating the Thulium was like slipping between the past and the present, in a landscape where every curve of the river revealed a new charm. The sailor offered us a unique sense of freedom, packed with the sound of the candles to the wind and the calm rhythm of the stream. Arriving at Cais de Gaia, with the city of Porto painting the horizon with its vibrant soul and rich history, we feel small in front of so much beauty. But the highlight of the tour was undoubtedly the sunset. The sun, saying goodbye from behind the sea, painted the sky golden and purple, reflecting on the calm waters and creating a moment of pure poetry. The Thulium was not just a boat — it was a floating stage where smiles, good silences, deep contemplations and a special connection with everything around us were lived.
