We had a great experience with Ricardo - he was friendly, very knowledgeable and informative. We got to see interesting sites and hear their history in a unique way, and we felt we had found "hidden" secrets in the city overlooked by the more traditional walking tours.
Although our guide was very friendly, she did not give very clear or complete explanations of the Jewish history of Porto or of the sites we visited.

Ricardo is very knowledgeable about Porto Jewish history and shared it with us in an organized and logical progression. He also had a well used collection of photographs and maps to extend our understanding of the past. He was sensitive to our physical abilities, and took the steps and steep streets slowly for our safety.

We tour the 3 jewish getto of porto. We saw where q5 century sinagog were located. We leaned how important the jewish community was to the commerce of Porto in the 14 & 15 centruy.
