Porto Heritage Night Tour With Fado Show And Dinner Included

Beautiful FADO MUSIC sung by wonderful singers whose songs are very heartfelt. The dinner is plentiful, including the wine. The driver who explained so much about Porto before we got to the restaurant was wonderful. David made the whole evening a night we won’t forget. At the end, he even dropped us off at our hotel which was so great. A trip you will enjoy for sure.

not the right time of the day to offer a city tour . Pitch dark, windows don’t roll down. Uncomfortable vehicle and driving like a maniac:(

We had a great experience touring the city with our guide, David, who was very knowledgeable not just about the history but also about the current developments and future outlooks of Porto. The dinner and Fado show had been our first introduction to the Portuguese kitchen and the traditional song culture, and we had an amazing time learning about both. We highly recommend this activity!

Fernando was wonderful! He drove us around to all of the historical sites in Porto and then dropped us off at a restaurant for dinner and a Fado Show. I highly recommend taking this tour!

We really enjoyed the meal and dado show. We were served wines, breads and olives and cheeses along with clams prior to the entree. I had the salmon and my husband had the steak option-both were delicious. The dado entertainment was superb. Do this!

Since we arrived late afternoon in Porto we thought this would be a great way to get introduced to the area. The experience did not disappoint. Our wonderful driver, Gisela, showed us all the sites to visit for our few days here and was very helpful locating tile stores and hidden gems. At the dinner and Fodo show, our host introduced each performance with fun stories. The food just kept coming and it was all delicious! Highly recommend fitting this into your stay in Porto.

David is a wonderful and warm presence and has a lot of interesting anecdotes about beautiful porto . He is both kind and skilled . The city is luminous and steeped in history - is just as stunning by night as it is by day . The dinner is authentic and delicious and the fado artists were the highlight of the visit for me . Beautiful in every way . Magical and unique 💫

I recommend this tour for the first night in Porto. You get a good glimpse of what the city looks like and you get to experience food, music and wine, which is a big part of being in Porto. Tiago is very nice and his car is very comfortable.

The venue was charming for the Fado Show. The food was excellent. And the vocalists and musicians were outstanding! The personal connection in this small, intimate setting made for a most enjoyable evening. The tour part of the trip was okay. Our guide took us by many sites, most of which were hard to comprehend at night. However, the overlook of the city by Porto Cathedral at night was stunning. Overall it was a very nice experience.

This was the most fabulous way to spend our first night in Porto. Our tour guid was excellent. He was so knowledgeable. Dinner and the Fado show was excellent! We would highly recommend.

Make sure your taxi know the difference in two addresses. Two location with similar address we were taken to wrong address and driver did not speak English we gave him the letter with the proper one but still took us to the wrong address

Our guide and driver, Antonio, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and adapted the one hour city tour to show us many sights we had not yet seen. Dinner and Fado were fantastic! We so enjoyed the ambiance and the absolutely beautiful voices and music. We feel very privileged to have experienced this part of Portuguese culture.

We enjoyed our private tour. Our hide was great he took us to some beautiful sights. He let us know we were lucky that it was a quiet night. The dinner was good a choice of appetizers would have been nice. We enjoyed the show. It was not sad but quite lively. The only problem was the air conditioner was not working

Splendid evening, it was a closure to our 3 day stay in Porto. The food and the ambiance was very romantic, the view is out of control.

Our guide Antonio was so knowledgeable and took us to some really interesting places by van before dinner. Our favorite was the train station to look at the tiles. Amazing! We loved learning about the city’s history and geography. Well done! The fado dinner was a mixed bag. Family owned restaurant. They were welcoming and kind. The food, however, was the worst we’ve had on the Iberian peninsula. Just keep in mind: “We’re going for live music. We’re going for live music.” And that part of the evening was outstanding. Singing with so much passion and talent. We recommend this! Great value. But don’t expect a whole lot from the food.

We (my husband, adult children and I) had a wonderful experience on this tour. We thoroughly enjoyed having Julio as our guide. He was pleasant and funny right from the start and was very knowledgeable and provided us with a lot of interesting historical information about the city. The Fado show and dinner were wonderful. Great food, pleasant hosts and the performances were great! We were also able to get photos with the performers at the end of the show which was a bonus. This tour was great value for the money spent and we would highly recommend it.

We were more than pleased with every step of yesterday's heritage tour. There were four of us and every one of us was overwhelmed. The hour long tour of Porto was excellent specially also being adapted to our request to take a different route than the normal. The restaurant was a great surprise, we would never have found it in a million years ourselves. It was cosy and the food was nice. And then the most fabulous fado session started with three guitars and three different singers, all of them wonderful individually and together. We couldn't have hoped for a better evening!

A great tour round the city with Alex, he listened carefully to any questions we had and answered them thoroughly and with a touch of humour ! We then went on to the Fado show with dinner, I've always a bit cautious about 'dinner shows', always fearing they are down to a price , not up to a standard, but it was fantastic, Food was of good restaurant quality and the wine kept flowing ! The Fado show was intimate, not a 'stage show', with several singers often walking amongst the diners. Alex 5* Dinner 5* Wine 5* Show 5* !

Alex was a fantastic guide with a wealth of local information . For dinner we had veal which was delicious . The Fado music was very entertaining . All in all a wonderful evening !

Our tour guide, Tiago, was extremely knowledgeable & made sure we were comfortable. LOTS of info on the history of Porto

First, it looks like there was a glitch in the app. The app sent me to the wrong meeting point. Tiago, the driver/tour guide was very kind to pick us up from the area the viator app sent us to. After driving through the city highlights, Tiago drop us off to the restaurant where the event took place. An appetizer was served an hour before the dinner. (It was a long time). An hour later, three people sang “Fado” songs with guitar. This genre of music is different. The food was delicious, it’s a pre-set menu. This tour is overpriced for the overall experience. I will not do it again.

Our guide was great but the Fado evening itself & the dinner were both disappointing. The city tour before going to the restaurant was good and covered key points of interest. On arrival at the restaurant (we were on time), we had to wait nearly 30 mins as they hadn’t completed setting up. Once seated we were given some flattened brown sliced bread with ham & cheese. Not great. Dinner choices was fish, meat or vegetarian and we had to wait nearly 45 mins for them to arrive. Dessert was awful - a choice between 3 flavours of mousse. I chose lemon, which didn’t taste of much & was very heavy. The restaurant consisted of 2 rooms with the Fado singing repeated in each one. Whilst intimate in terms of venue it wasn’t really the traditional Fado performance I’d read about. Would not recommend. I’m sure there are better alternatives.

Dinner was delicious… I had the cod and it was definitely the right choice. The performance was amazing and the singers had the audience participate at times which made it a lot of fun. Well worth the money. We had a great time.

Antonio was absolutely incredible. Very knowledgeable about the history and culture behind the area. Friendly and professional. The food was amazing and the music a night of fun and magic.

I will suggest making sure that if you book this tour and you specifically ask for your choice of language emphasize that you only want the whole experience to be in that language, we were disappointed that the other half of the group spoke a different language which the guide had to repeat the information in both languages! That’s not what we signed up for!!! We were disappointed :(

Most enjoyable evening! Had a bit of difficulty finding the meeting location. Contacted Touch Tours who quickly connected us with Alex our Tour Guide. He was enthusiastic and provided us with a wonderful tour and commentary of Porto easily manoeuvring the tight roads. The Fado Show & Dinner was a real treat, felt very authentic. Amazing voices. Well worth including on your itinerary.

Tiago out tour guide was excellent! However the restaurant left a lot to be desired. The table cloths were dirty, plates chipped and cracked and worst of all we were expected to keep our knife and fork for the whole tree courses!!!! Food was at best average. If we had walked off the street to the restaurant I would have refused to pay. Having said that the Fado show was good.

We had a lovely ride around the city and dinner was a relaxed experience with music between the course. Be aware there is a long break between the first couse and the show starting. That's a little confusing if you don't expect it.

We had an amazing evening guided by Tiago. He was professional, kind and was so knowledgeable about the area. The dinner just kept coming, and between courses, we were entertained by beautiful Fado music. Highly recommend!

The guide was so nice and very helpful. Specially, since he had to interpret three different languages. He did a great job, and I admire his ability to do so the dinner was wonderful. The music was wonderful. However, I cannot believe you placed three people that cannot talk to each other with different languages at the same table. It was so awkward and challenging.

My group of 5 did the fado tour and dinner in April 2024. We had a GREAT time. Tiago was early to meet us and drove us through Porto along the coast showing us all the sites. He offered to let us stop and take photos too, which was great. He then dropped us off for our fado dinner. The musicians were MAGICAL. The dinner was so delicious. The server told us her favorites and we were not disappointed. Tiago picked us up promptly and showed us sites on the way back to our hotel. He was so knowledgeable about the sites he showed us and we felt very safe throughout. 10/10 recommend this tour experience and especially Tiago as your tour guide. Thank you!!!!

Dinner was delicious. We had front row seats for the Fado. Our tour guide was kind and loaded with historical information and shared with us as we toured the city. It was a wonderful evening.

The show was great and dinner was delicious. Our tour guide Maximo was wonderful. He was on time, attentive and had good suggestions for our time in Porto. He suggested a really good place for Franceshina. We loved the fado music. Definitely a must do in Porto.

This was a fantastic evening! Our guide, Alex, was very informative and passionate about his beautiful city. He took us to some beautiful spots and took some really lovely photos of us. The night tour was really fun, especially with the city all lit up for Christmas. And the Fado! Truly incredible. The owner of the restaurant spent some time getting to know us and was so welcoming. We were the only non-Portuguese speakers there, so it was definitely authentic - some people in the room were even singing along with the songs. The music was so lovely, and the musicians were wonderful. They interacted with us and made us feel like we were part of the experience. The owner even customized our dessert for us, and wrote us a recommendation list of Fado albums for us to try to find. And Alex followed up our trip with a list of recommendations in both Porto, and our next stop of Lisbon. Truly wonderful evening, not to be missed!

The tour with Maximo was excellent. He knows so much of the city's history. He took us great places to take a lot of pictures and being stunned by the view. After that we had a nice dinner, great Fado, a ride to the accommodations. We can call it, a perfect evening. Gabriele H.

He also provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. The show and dinner were excellent. We were dropped off at our hotel afterwards and were very happy with our evening. Well worth it!
