Excellent host, great stops for food and wine / beer. Would definitely recommend.

Guide was soft spoken and did not appear to be in tune with the entire group. This tour was advertised as a full meal with drinks. Drinks were plentiful; food was skimpy.

We met up with the group (about 10 people total) and our guide, João, at the designated meeting point. It was great to meet such a friendly and enthusiastic group. João checked in on food allergies and explained that we were going to truly local Porto restaurants for local Porto food and beverages (wine and beer) - totally awesome & exactly what we were looking for. We made multiple stops, each with a variety of small plates and complementary drinks. João took time to explain the history and food-drink pairing of each dish. The people at each stop were welcoming and friendly. The pace moved right along but did not feel rushed. Each of the stops was just a short walk away. We really enjoyed walking, which gave us the opportunity to chat more with the others on the tour. We left totally satisfied with the quality and quantity of food and drinks. João was an awesome guide.

Our guide was excellent! Our guide provided us a little history of Porto which made us appreciate the place & food even more. Not only was he knowledgeable but entertained us with his magic tricks! Our group surely loved him. The food & places he took us was superb!!!

We really enjoyed our Porto Petiscos & Wine Evening Crawl Tour with Thiago. Each stop was really well chosen, bringing something very different each time. The food and drinks were great, and the broader context about Porto and Portugal added a lot. We really appreciated that the tour supports local Porto businesses and some of the places we visited were really special experiences we could not have had by ourselves. Our guide Thiago was excellent, making sure everyone was included and any dietary restrictions were catered for while all the time sharing lots of interesting and engaging information. Our group was lovely and gelled really well, which all added to the experience of a great night out.

Thiago was a fantastic guide who took us to such wonderfully authentic spots to experience real Portuguese food, wine, and culture. It was so much fun! A ton of laughs, great conversation, and excellent wine. Having a great group of tourists to share the evening with was the perfect finishing touch. We loved every minute of it and would highly recommend this tour.

We do a food tour wherever we go and this was highly rated however we were disappointed. Honestly, we learned very little about the city from our guide and the food selection was okay.

Marta’s good humor and choices of eating venues/types of dishes made the tour exceptional on all counts. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed this tour. Granada was very entertaining and knowledgeable both about history and the food and wine we had. The stops were varied and gave us a great overview of local food and wine. We appreciated his recommendations for places to try on our own. Definitely recommend.

Thiago was an amazing, friendly knowledgable and most of all fun as the host. Our group got to try plenty of dishes, hear about the city and taste various different drinks in spots I’d never have went to on my own. I would highly reccomend and if you are lucky enough to have Thiago lead your tour you have struck gold 🙌

I had the most amazing food and drink tour! The food and drinks were so good! Our guide for the evening was Gabriel Granado. He was so energetic and nice. He had wonderful knowledge about food and drinks. If I could give out more stars for this guy I would, I have never said that about any review before. 10/10 would recommend doing this tour.

The food tour was a great introductory to Portuguese food from simple snacks to cheese to wine to main courses and finally dessert. Our guide was truly passionate about the food origins of the Portuguese culture. This tour had a mix of food, wine, beer and port and a mix of restaurants chosen by the company were fantastic blend of different varieties. Thank you to our guide, Gabriel Granado for making our tour a pleasurable experience and to introducing us to the fabulous food of Portugal.

I’ve been on many waking food tours across Europe however this one falls way below standard. It was so poor that we left after 1 hr 10 mins. Our first stop involved a very tiny amount of food and the second stop was at a sports bar with football on screens everywhere which does not constitute as an authentic, hidden gem! Our host was pleasant but the whole tour felt slow, lack lustre and poor value for money. The reviews all seemed really good hence booking this tour but we left sadly disappointed.

Great evening trying out the local food and drink. Guide , Alice, was very knowledgeable, & lovely to have as guide. One slight downside to the great wine shop that sold all the wines and spirits( can’t remember the name) - we had a wait for about 10 minutes whilst the host prepared the table after the previous tour, then due to the wait we then had to leave early as the next tour had arrived before we had finished or food & drink. Overall the tour was fantastic and we visited an area of Porto that we otherwise wouldn’t have. I

Alice was a fabulous guide for our tour, taking us off the beaten track and giving us a really local Porto experience of food and drink, with a mix of culture and history. Alice was super friendly with the group and all the restaurant hosts too.

A great way to learn about the classic Porto dishes and about the region. We tasted beer, wine and port. It was a gentle walk around the old streets and had heaps of atmosphere at night. João was fun, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. Adding great depth to all the interesting tasting experiences. Highly recommend.

Can’t say enough good things about our food tour with Gabriel Granqdo. He was like the mayor of Porto, lol, knew so many people saying hi along the way. We had such a great group and Gabriel was just so fun. Knowledgeable, animated , and surprising. Would definitely recommend a food tour with Gabriel. You’ll definitely be taken care of!!!

Our walking tour with Granado was the highlight of our trip to Porto . He was brilliant … full of information fascinating facts and very entertaining . . It was a great evening taking in several bars and restaurants all of which told a story about Porto and Portuguese cuisine and drinks . This is a must tour for anyone looking for a fun night with like minded people led by a real local and very friendly expert . Thanks again Granado you were fab .

We loved this tour. I'm glad we picked an earlier tour so we could experience Portugal cuisine starting with cafe and buttered toast..not to be underestimated. Yum! We of course tasted the Pastel de nata and learned how to identify a good one. We went on to experience cod, sardines, presunto (Portugeuse procuitto), cheeses, pork sandwiches, holiday deli, and wine tastings along the way. Marta, our guide was knowledeable, engaging and welcoming of any questions. I highly, highly recommend this tour!

Being my first solo trip abroad, I thought I’d book this tour as it had 3 things I can do well, eat, drink and walk. I couldn’t recommend it enough, as Gabriel our tour guide was awesome and both knowledgeable and entertaining (with a bit of magic thrown in for free). Despite the weather being biblically wet it didn’t dampen our spirits as we moved from one establishment to the next with great anticipation of what food delights were awaiting for us. Thank you Gabriel and the other guests on the tour who really made it an unforgettable night.
