We enjoyed the trip with Gonçalo as our guide. He gave a lot of background info and answered all of our questions. Great experience and worth starting a Porto-Visit with a tuk tuk tour.
Our tuk tuk was driven by Goncalo. He was a great guide. Informative and amusing. Highly recommend.
A great trip and a fantastic guide David. I would recommend.
The Tuk-Tuk guide was 15 minutes late, due to traffic. I guess that's something he should have taken into account at 17.00. Nevertheless the tour ended on time, so no compensation for the delay. He was young and very friendly and showed us some places we didn't know, at some spots we had the feeling we knew more than him. The combination with the boat cruise was also tricky. At check-in we learned that the last boat on that day was leaving at 18.00 on the Gaya side of the Duro river. If you take the tuk-tuk at 17.00 you have no chance of making that boat on the same day. This is an information that should have been provided before booking. Fortunately, we had the next day to do that. The boat trip was good, on the way back we had the possibility to leave the boat on the Porto-side of the river, which was very convenient for us.
Very good value for this experience We did the tuk tuk tour that went through Porto. The guide was able to explain interesting facts about certain monuments and churches then you can do the boat tour on your own time. You have 30 days to use the ticket for the did bridgr cruuse
We did a 50 minutes tuktuk tour with Sousa. He was very knowledgeable and great tour guide. I would recommend him. The 6 bridges boat tour offered a great view from Porto’s riverside. Would also recommend.
Great tours. Goncales was an outstanding tuk tuk tour guide. Funny and informative.
Gonçalo was a lovely guide. Excellent English & very knowledgeable - great historical explanations.
We had an excellent tour guide, Concalo. Lots of information and interaction. He stopped to let us take photos and answered our questions. Great personality and humour. Really enjoyed his tour!
Living tuktuk tour with our excellent guide Goncalo. He got the balance right between history and humour. We had plenty time to take photos, he interacted well with our tour group. Would recommend
The guide, Gonçalo was so professional to his job. He was so kind and gave much historical information with most effective way.
Really fun time on the Tuk Tuk. Our tour guide Sousa was knowledgeable and friendly and navigated those crazy streets really well!!
Great experience. Gonçalo was very knowledgeable & helpful. I would highly recommend.
Sousa was a great guide. Gave great explanations and told the story behind the sites of the city!!
Our tour was awesome. Gabriel was great guide . He had a lot of information. He answered all our questions very friendly and outgoing with lots of interesting facts.
We only had 3 days in Porto with no transportation so the 3 things we did—-Tuk Tuk tour, wine cellar, and river cruise really gave us an excellent overview of the beauty and historic significance of Porto. Also, our guide gave us extra information on things to see and do in Porto and the wine cellar delighted me with a special sampling of reserved wine in honor of my birthday which was special
Gabriel was our guide on the Tuk Tuk tour. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend a tour with him.
Absolutely terrible, 6 of us were rammed in a tuk tuk with a low roof, we left ten minutes late and arrived back ten minutes early,Mirande our guide was awful just pointing things out very little information, we spent half of it going round in circles, must have passed St Antonys hospital 3 times, stuck in traffic for lots of it , 5 minutes wasted at the cathedral, a complete rip off! So they gained 150 euro for a crap tour, where we could see very little because of the roof, were cramped and told very little, do not waste your money on this dreadful activity
Absolutely brilliant trip. The tour guide on the tuktuk was great. We are his people! He was very knowledgeable and funny. We got an excellent view of Porto without having to walk up the hills. The boat trip was fabulous too. A few tips for taking this tour... give yourself plenty of time to get to the starting point. The office where the trip starts is near the train station in Porto, nowhere near the port. Take the shuttle bus from the port terminal to the main gate. We got a taxi from there into the city, which was about 20 euros, but took half an hour to get through the port traffic. The tuktuk tour drops you back at the starting point, and it is quite a walk downhill to get to the boat tours. Go over the bridge to Gaia, and the boat tour is from the Quay just past the information centre with the big white umbrella. We were lucky enough to get a taxi back from Gaia, but it may be worth prebooking one, just in case. If you want to hear the commentary, sit inside the boat but if you just want the view, sit at the front but take a jacket if you feel the cold. Fabulous day that we really enjoyed.
This is a two-part tour: a short tuk-tuk ride and a river ride; you receive boat tickets that can be used until 7PM the same day or for up to 30 days. The tuk-tuk driver pointed out the sites we should consider visiting without much additional info. The office, which is the meeting point, is functional but lacks customer appeal. There are no restrooms on the premises, and the tuk-tuk driver had to stop at a nearby McDonald's to use their facilities.
Good choice. Friendly guide, informative and enjoyable cruise which can be done when you choose rather than same day. Tuk tuk guide Luis was excellent and very knowledgeable. Really enjoyed for initial insights of the city.
The tuc tuc was best white the guide Carina she was great. The boat trip was not so good for that money. But we saw all of the Bridget’s so that was good.
Great trip. Our guide Gabriel was very friendly and knowledgable.
Our tour guide, Tomas, was excellent! He knew so much about the history of each location, and the tour itself was a highlight of our visit to Porto. We saw so many locations and viewpoints we wouldn’t have known to visit. Tomas was a fantastic driver, funny storyteller, and guide overall. The staff at the booth was also very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend this activity for anyone visiting Porto!
Tomas was fantastic, highly recommended
This was a great tour. Renan was a really friendly and knowledgeable guide for the Tuk Tuk tour. He was great with the kids. He taught us lots about Porto and Gaia and he showed us all the sights. The river tour was also very good. It was not too long (about an hour) and we got to see some more sights from the river. Thanks very much!
The experience was sold as a Tuk Tuk tour and river cruise. To me that meant a combination of the two organised together. It was a Tuk Tuk tour with a voucher for a boat ride which ran out of Gaia on the other side of the river. Poor business from my point of view. Luis the driver on the other hand was very good and informative. A poor review because it wasn’t clear you’d make your own way to the river cruise.
The tuktuk was amazing our guide (Diogo) was funny, warm and knowledgeable. He took us to a bunch of interesting landmarks with crazy facts, gave some super suggestions for coffee, food and shops. Overall it was an amazing experience and we can’t thank Diogo enough if I could I would rate him 12/5 stars! Will come again!!!
Really good tour guide Carina, very friendly and knowledgeable. Enjoyed the Tuk Tuk ride!
Eduardo was y incredible guide. Polite, informative, entertaining. Would recommend 😍
It was a really nice experience! Our Tourguide told us a lot about the city and we got to see thr beautiful sites of Porto. We also enjoyed the boat tour where we could see the city from another perspective!
The guide Diogo made a tour not just better, but exceptionally. If you can get him as your guide - be sure, he is THE Guide. If I would take this tour again, i would take it only because of him and with him
Our guide was named Gabriel. He was very friendly and told interesting stories about the city. He gave great tips on places to visit, where to eat, and so on. It was a fantastic experience.
Gabriel was fantastic. He was really nice and was very informative of the area
The tuk tuk portion of the tour was lovely, a nice relaxing alternative to walking or bus tours. I appreciate that the guide was a local with lot of personal tips and historical insight. Morias was very knowledgeable, funny and kind. The boat portion had flexible scheduling, and was a nice slow pace to really allow you to enjoy the sights as you cruise on the water. I would definitely recommend this tour to a friend.
A great experience with a fantastic guide in Gabriel - so knowledgeable and welcoming!
Very fun esperienze with eduardo
Great time. The guide was funny and informative.
Had a fantastic tour , a great guide in Ivo who looked after us really well with a balance of great humour and knowledge of Porto and finding some great spots to take photos
Had an amazing time, very fun and learned so much about the background of Porto. Had Ivo as a driver who was phenomenal! Highly recommend!
The tour guide Bruno for the river cruise and Raquel for the walking tour are very knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed both tour very much
Had the best tour of the city with Domingos being the best guide. He went above and beyond, should have us some places where we would have never found.
It was a great experience! Despite the rainy weather, our tuk tuk tour guide - DOMÍNGOS was very kind and pleasant! Also very informative, and gave us the heads up that the last river cruise was ending at an earlier time due to the rain. We had a a great time!!! :) would definitely do again
Look for Maria and Ana. They are the best travel tour guides you will find in Living Tours. They are always available even when the rain started to pour. They are all professional and know their stuff
This tour is worth your money and time. We had Andrea (AM) as our guide and he was great. He clearly loves the city and sharing information about it. He has a sense of humour and is happy to take photos of you whenever you ask. He’s honest about what he likes and doesn’t like and leaves you to kake yoirbiwn decisions. The cruise was lovely, take the 4.30 one and you’ll catch the sunset (in autumn).
My recent trip experience in Porto was made truly unforgettable thanks to ky incredible guide Joana.Beyond her expertise, her genuine care and attention to detail made the trip truly amazing and very special. With her guidance,I was able to explore Porto to the fullest.
Beatriz was very nice and we enjoyed the tour together, many interesting informations about Porto, thank you and see you next time
With the help of one of the excellent Tourist Information staff at Terreiro da Sé, we booked the combined Six Bridges and TukTuk tour with Living TukTuk. Since we had to wait until 15.30 to get a TukTuk, she recommended us to do the river tour first. Our operator was Rota do Duoro, and it seemed like a long walk until we found them. But the walk was well worth it. We sat just inside the shaded area of the boat and were able to hear the whole commentary as we went up and down the river. The bridges are amazing and they are extraordinarily close to one another. And you can see why when you look at the height of the hills on either side of the river. We could not have chosen a better day weather wise either. The tour only lasts an hour but it was a really pleasant and informative trip. We got the Funicular up to meet our TukTuk. We were very lucky as we were assigned to the lovely Helene as our driver. She explained about the limits on where we could visit due to the Rose metro works and and some issue regarding licences too. But Helene made sure that we had a great tour, all the same. She took us across one of the magnificent bridges to the Gaia viewing point. From there we were able to see the whole of Porto including the historic centre, some of the bridges, the river Duoro and the funicular. She explained about how the city had developed and that Gaia is the modern part of the city were people like ourselves live. Then she took us down to the Riverside passing the Rabbit, a beautiful piece on the corner of a building near the River. And finally we went back, across another bridge to our starting point. She gave us lots of good advice for the rest of our trip. Thanks a million, Helene! Total price for three people €99.00 - good value for an excellent day of activity.
Andre was so interesting taking us through the old streets and telling us the history of the area. We enjoyed his stories.
