Rua das flores was the street known for its amazing homemade jewelry stores, however for long time it was kind of abandoned, but 4 years ago they reopened the street and it gained a new life where street artists like to perform their shows
We will show you, from outside, and explain you a bit of the history of the most known bookstore in Porto, the Lello bookstore, a building from 1881 which inspired JK Rowling on Harry Potters books.
Carmelitas churches look like the biggest church in the city however this is because they are two churches separated by one of the world’s narrowest houses, an the reason, you will find out in the day with us :) .
The Clerigos Tower is one of the paradigmatic architectural landmarks of Porto. The structure is, in fact, part of the Clerigos Church, representing its bell tower. The church proper was built between 1732 and 1750, but the construction works at the Clerigos Tower started no sooner than 1754, only to be completed in 1763, this is defenetelly the most iconic monument in Porto, and we will tell you everything about it
In Porto we say that the best place to be in in Gaia (the other side of the river) , because from there you have the scenic view of Porto, however, for those that knows Vitoria viewpoint, knows that from Porto is possible to have breathtaking views of Gaia, specially to the cellars. here you will enjoy this amazing views.
We will have the time to learn a bit about the Porto Cathedral, a building from the XII century and have the chance to enjoy the beautiful view from there to Porto and River.

Great way to acquaint yourself with the city, its history and layout best experienced at beginning of your stay. Knowledgable guide, well paced and enjoyable.
Americo met Tom and me at the Vimara Peres statue near the Cathedral, a terrific start to our 3-hour+ walking tour. He clearly loves his city and knows it well. In addition to Porto’s remarkable train station, the Cathedral and other iconic sites, he shared stories and sites that added perspective and depth, including a stop at an archeological site near the Cathedral that we hadn’t noticed earlier this week. A young mother and well-behaved toddler from Gaia were delightful fellow travelers. Americo ended our tour with a walk across the beautiful Douro River to view his beloved city from Gaia.
A tour guided by someone who truly loves what he does, passionate, funny, and full of knowledge. Pedro kept us completely engaged, weaving big historical moments with his own storytelling style. Highly recommend Pedro and Daily Tours if you want to understand Porto beyond the surface.

The informative guide gave lots interesting facts and stories about the locations visited. We walked at an easy pace but still managed to visit lots of locations. Many recommendations were given to visit after the tour.
This was far more than a walk to see the key sites, the guide provided great insights & historical knowledge of portugal & relevance in Porto
Very knowledgeable guide. Unfortunately he was quite late. The tour should have been three hours and it overran by 25 minutes. I had another tour at 2pm so had to leave the end. Thankfully he ordered a taxi for me. I did just make the next tour
Pedro was unbelievable! He stayed with us more than the 4 hours the tour called for. Even when I thought I couldn’t walk anymore I wanted to hear more of the history and insights into the area that I didn’t want to end the tour! I highly recommend this tour and especially Pedro!
Wonderful fun informative walking tour experience with Pedro . Pedro made history of the city so entertaining
Great walking tour with Pedro. He made it fun and informative We had a great morning exploring the city with him. Very glad we did it as we wouldn’t have seen half the things we saw without the tour.
Very informative. Pedro is an excellent guide, full of useful information about the history of this city. He is also an excellent host and does a wonderful job taking care of his guests.
Great tour. Pedro was a really fun and friendly tour guide. Kept our kids engaged and had lots of interesting information to share. We have no complaints
Lots of history from a well informed guide. A little long with minimal rest breaks but still worthwhile if a little uninspiring at times. Needs to keep to 3 hours, not longer, and offer rest breaks more considering the terrain
Great time on the walking tour with Pedro. Interesting, informative and engaging. Great pace and fun discussions. Well worth it!
This tour was a great way to learn about the history and architecture of Porto. Our guide was Pedro, a native son who had a great sense of humor and was very knowledgeable about the city and the history of Portugal. He made sure we were hydrated on a very hot day and incorporated pauses along the way. The route was comprehensive: we saw all the top sights.
Pedro was a fantastic guide and I enjoyed this tour so much! My favorite part was his story telling and he really knew the historical aspects of each part we went to.
A very informative and interesting tour led by Pedro. A wonderful way to soak up the history of Porto. We would thoroughly recommend Pedro and his amusing anecdotes.
Our guide was called Pedro and he was an accomplished storyteller. The tour was interesting, informative and entertaining. We were a small group of five - which made it easier for all concerned. Highly recommended.
We had a great time on our tour and learned so much about Porto. We learned about the history, architecture and culture. Our guide read the small group very well and did a great job of making sure that everyone got what they need out of the tour.
Our walking tour was great! Our guide was Pedro. We walked around the city and covered all the highlights. Porto is a beautiful city with lots of hills and winding roads. We would recommend this tour. It took three hours.
We had the best time with our guide Gregorio. We went on this walking tour as part of our honeymoon. We loved learning about the city and meeting people from around the world. I highly recommend this tour and Gregorio as your guide.
Pedro did a great job of explaining the history, architecture and cultural significance of Porto. Very entertaining and interesting, A great morning.
Our guide was brilliant, thoughtful, informative, charming. I highly recommend this tour company. Everyone was delightful!!
Gregorio was our guide for our walking tour. It was a lot of walking but he made it fun and enjoyable. He had a wealth of information both about Porto and it's history and made the tour really engaging and interesting, even for my young daughter. Would highly recommend taking the tour with him!
Really enjoyed walking through older part of the city in Alfama and getting tips on navigating hills with elevators and escalators to see the views.
Great tour, I can tell only superlatives about it. Our guide, Pedro, was really good and interesting. He gave us a lot of facts and information but with a great humor add on, so he wasn't boring. He had a story for everything and everyone. At the end we were given a glass of excellent Port wine. Do it, it is worthed!
This is an excellent 3 hour walking tour - the time whizzes by. Pedro has a great depth of knowledge about his city and Portugal’s history, and gave us such an interesting insight into the life of the city, past and present. His delivery is clear, amusing and engaging. At the end he gave us helpful suggestions for restaurants and visits. We highly recommend this tour.
Pedro our guide was very knowledgeable engaging and funny. He kept our interest throughout and was full of interesting facts about Porto and its history. We really enjoyed the walk and learnt loads
Pedro was a very interesting and lovely guide and he clearly loves Porto. Unfortunately it was difficult to hear him when he walked ahead so we missed much of the commentary unless we were standing beside him.
Pedro was a great guide! Informative with some humor along the way. Gave us some great tips for other things to do and places to eat. Totally worth our time and affordable!
Our guide Kevin was very knowledgeable and fun. He took us to three venues and the entire tour was flawless. Well worth doing. Thank you Kevin.
The guide was knowledgeable, considerate of all in the tour group. It was an excellent tour, but be advised that there were several hills to climb.
The trip was influenced by frequent and at times heavy rainfall but despite it all, our guide Pedro did a great job of explaining the history of the city and showing us all the key points of interest. Definitely recommend this tour for any first time visitors to Porto.
Gregorio was fabulous Interesting information We learned a lot about Porto and got good advice on sites and restaurants etc enjoyed our end of tour tasting, too!
We really enjoyed this walking tour. Our guide, Gregorio, was lots of fun and gave us all the information we needed from each stop. We saw all the main sights in Porto across the city and, even though it was hot and there are a lot of hills involved(!), our whole group had a great time. Would highly recommend this tour.
This was a great walk around historic Porto. Our guide gave us a tour de force of Portuguese history bringing the city to life. It was great fun in a horrible histories kind of way. Highly recommended.
Had a great time with Pedro……although Porto was very hilly at times, he always kept track of us, especially around the construction in the city….saw some wonderful views of the city when we went up high and he adjusted our tour a bit when it started raining so we wouldn’t get soaked.
Pedro was a fantastic guide. Professional and entertaining. Took us on a great tour, including places we would not have found. Highly recommended
The tour guider, Pedro, was an outstanding experience Porto history teller. He has an eloquent style of describing the different tour sides combining with a humor and some anecdotical sparks. I truly recommend the tour as it gives you a good overview of Porto’s historical sites and I truly recommend doing it with Pedro
Pedro, our guide, was highly knowledgeable, engaged with all group members and shared myths and debunked myths with empathy ands humor. Highly recommend this tour.
The tour was informative and fun. The guide, Gregory was both knowledgable and witty. He brought history to life with interesting twists on well-known history lessons. It was a great introduction to the city where streets and landmarks are initially confusing. Highly recommend
Pedro was an amazing guide as he led us through and up and down the streets and alleys of Porto. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and took care that we were having a great time. The wine tasting was great !
Pedro was amazing, he was attentive and has a great up beat personality. Would definitely recommend. Loved the small group.
Pedro was a very knowledgeable and thoughtful guide whose passion about his city shone through the entire tour
A fun trip on a rainy day, many nice nuggets of Portugese history as well as some good insight into the various parts of the old city. Made the city open up alot more.
We had a great time on our tour! Gregorio was knowledgeable, down to earth, and funny! We learned a ton and were able to quickly get acquainted with Porto. I also appreciated their recommendations of places to eat and things to do once the tour concluded. For the amount we learned and the experience I would say this tour was a steal price wise!
Gregorio, our guide, was fantastic! So knowledgeable about the city and its history. He had a great sense of humor and he made the tour really fun. It was a great way to get acquainted with the city on our first day. We saw some places we wouldn’t have visited otherwise. There were some nice surprises at the end of the tour too. The next day we went back to the office and they were able to help us find a good restaurant nearby. Highly recommend!
Great walking tour. The guide was new, but she did a very good job explaining things and was patient with us. Thank you Margherita:)
Gregorio was an awesome and knowledgeable guide with great sense of humor. The pace and amount of information imparted was perfect. The walking was well planned to lessen the hills- greatly appreciated. There wasn’t a question he couldn’t handle (or admit he didn’t know).
