The boat tour on the Douro river was very informative and fun. Allen and Paulo were our guides and that day we were the only guests so we were able to ask lots of questions. It took about 90 minutes traveling under the 6 bridges in Porto, and was well worth going.

This was the most Amazing trip that we have had. The crew Alan and Paulo were so so good. We had a fantastic time and we learned a lot from them about Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. The boat ride was full of laughs and total happiness. I would highly recommend this trip. If you get a chance please do this one.
The tour guide (a teenager!) and the captain were both charming. We enjoyed it very much. One word of caution: the boat is small. There were five passengers—a group of three and then my husband and me. The other folks boarded first, and there was only one traditional seat left. My husband and I sat/lounged on the front of the boat for the whole trip. We were fine with it, but it requires a bit of agility that not everyone has. Also, no bathroom. And I specifically chose a trip with no snacks, but there was a glass of port.
We completely understood their explanations to us and we were satisfied. Thank you for everything!!!
We loved this experience!! We didn't realise when we first booked that it's actually quite far away from Porto / Gaia, it was around 20 minutes in a taxi so I'd include that in your budget. However! I couldn't recommend enough, it was a small boat for 5 people, really personal and being away from Porto meant we caught the perfect sunset on the way back to the little fisherman town. Our guide was very informative and generous with the port! And took some lovely pictures - thanks for a such an amazing time. It was our favourite sunset so far in Portugal
Francisco and Paulo made this tour my best experience in Porto. They are very knowledgeable and entertaining. The trip is well the money and I would do it again
This experience was by far our favorite on our trip to Portugal. The scenery, especially at sunset, is beautiful but it was our guide Paulo who made it magical. While Francisco steered the boat, Paulo shared interesting facts (of both the past and present) about what we were seeing. As a Porto native, he is incredibly knowledgable and a great storyteller. He even took photos for us the whole time so we could just relax and enjoy the ride! I cannot recommend this tour enough.
It was a really nice experience. The crew greeted us wholesomely. The tour was informative. The end was the best part, calmly watching the sun set.
This was the second time I chose this shared tour, and it was incredible once again. Visiting Porto with this experience made the city feel even more special. The crew was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate, and the group atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. Even though it wasn’t my first time, I still learned new things and discovered details I had missed before. Everything was well organized, engaging, and authentic. I wouldn’t hesitate to choose this tour again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Porto for the first time—or the second!
This boat tour was absolutely fantastic and exceeded all our expectations. Even though it’s a shared tour, the group was small, which made the experience feel relaxed, personal, and very enjoyable. Seeing Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia from the Douro River at sunset is truly something special. The views of the bridges, the Ribeira, and the city lights reflecting on the water were simply breathtaking. The boat was very comfortable and well maintained, and the pace of the tour was perfect — never rushed, allowing us to really take everything in. The crew were extremely friendly, professional, and welcoming. They shared interesting information along the way and made sure everyone felt comfortable at all times. The welcome drink was a lovely touch and added to the overall experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Porto. Whether you’re traveling as a couple or family, this is a memorable experience and well worth it.
My husband and I had a great time on the sunset cruise. Philip and Alan were entertaining and informative. Blankets were offered as it can get a bit chilly in April.
This was a lovely private cruise with our guide Alan giving us some history along the way - never intrusive. Paolo was our captain and did a fantastic job navigating the waters and keeping the boat pretty steady.
We thoroughly enjoyed our boat trip with Philip and Paolo. Philip was very knowledgeable in both current and historical Porto and Gaia facts. Paolo and Philip were truly masters of their boat. They made us feel comfortable throughout the trip, including a nice glass of port and warm blankets. Thank you for a wonderful boat ride on the Douro!
It’s a lovely trip to go under six bridges, and the experience was amazing! We all had a wonderful time together with our friends and the weather was perfect for the day to see the beautiful sunset with our helpful guides/captains.
Top notch. Incredible views, cenary and staff. João, our captain, provided a very smoth ride. Highly recommend this experience.
Very informative, lots of information on the bridges and history of the river. We had a great time. :)
We had a very pleasant family trip, the team was very approachable and we felt very welcomed. We definitely recommend it.
This tour was an excellent idea to finish our vacation in Porto. Despite it being shared, there were only 4 of us, which was perfect for a calm tour. The hosts were very friendly and efficient We definitely recommend this activity!
We highly recommend this experience - it's a shared tour but with a maximum of four people, which we thought was good because on the other boats we saw a lot of people. We were also happy to have chosen this boat as it allowed us to see the six bridges, which would not have been possible on the sailboats. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Porto!
This was a wonderful tour. The crew was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. It was possible to observe the 6 bridges between the cities. We would highly recommend the tour.
Sara and João provided a truly delightful family experience. Extremely friendly and very attentive to every detail. I highly recommend the fantastic food boards. Thank you.
This was one of the highlights of my month-long solo trip. The staff are super nice and the ride is nice and calm. It's a small group ride (4 people). We got to sit on the deck to take in the sunset. They handed us blankets once it got cold. Highly recommend this tour.
A very good experience A fantastic tour, with extraordinary attention from the two people from the company, who provided us with all kinds of explanations in good Spanish.
We chose the Naugit cruise for our last evening in Porto and we completely recommend it. It was a special moment in a small group accompanied by Allan and Francisco, who took excellent care of us. We particularly enjoyed their anecdotes about the bridges and buildings along the coast, all accompanied by a glass of port, of course! Thanks to them
Magnificent experience; a peaceful walk enjoying the sunset. Alan and Chico were very kind and attended to us incredibly well.
Nice 1 hour walk that allows a good perspective of Porto It is taken in Ribeira, popular and tourist area full of terraces and restaurants. Bookable on the website.
