Great experience, our guide (from Venezuela) was very welcoming and knowledgeable! Wine and food all great and the venue was also very nice. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent port and chocolate tasting - we had a personal tasting and Priscilla was very knowledgeable and great fun - gave great background and information about each port - good size glasses and delicious chocolate pairings.

This was a truly unique and amazing experience. Pairing some of Porto's finest ports with artisan chocolates was a delight, and each combination brought out something new in both the wine and the chocolate. Rita was a great host: knowledgeable, warm, and clearly passionate about port wine and Porto. She made the tasting fun and easy to follow, whether you're new to port or already a fan. A big thank you to Hannah as well for helping make the experience so smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Porto who wants something special!

Rita did a wonderful job walking us through the ports we sampled including tasty pairings and a fantastic history lesson. Not knowing a lot about port, we learned a lot of interesting facts that kept us entertained for the full hour. The conversation was great - and even our son enjoyed himself.

It is in a house that gives no indication of what a beautiful room and outside terrace is inside where the tasting takes place. Our tasting host was Rita. She was excellent. Very knowledgeable and friendly. She made our experience great fun. Highly recommended.

We had a great time today doing a paring with chocolates and port! Our tour guide was Priscilla and she was very welcoming and warm. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very accommodating. The orangerie where the tasting was held was a bit warm, but it was also a very hot day in Porto. Priscilla made sure we had plenty of cold water. The port selections were varied between vintners and varieties so that we had a broad selection to try. The chocolates were also delicious and she let us know where to go buy extra (a shop in Porto!) we had a great time and would definitely recommend a tasting to any friends going to Porto!

Allow for an hour. The entrance to the hotel isn’t obvious so count the ‘house’ numbers so that you know you’ve arrived. The hotel was cool and airy and comfortable. Our host - Gabriella - was very informative, relaxed and engaging.

Kudos to Priscilla for her extensive explanation, patience with all of our questions and big smile. The port wines were great and especially the food pairings excellent!

I had a great experience at this Port wine and chocolate pairing! Rita explained each wine and pairing so well and could answer all of my questions. The wines and chocolates were very good and high quality. Don't come expecting a full meal- its more like a dessert experience.

My wife and myself had a tasting today with the wonderful and knowledgeable Rita, of some of the ports of Porto. Rita was brilliant, personable, knowledgeable and gave us many tips on what to do in Porto other than drink delicious wine and port. The tasting was exceptionally quick at an hour long but well worth every penny it cost. Highly recommend this experience.

We enjoyed trying for different ports from 4 different well-known houses. Each drink came with its own story and an explanation of how the ports were made. Each port was paired with a different dessert, and it was lovely to enjoy the ports both with and without their pairings. Priscilla was lovely and knowledgeable about the various ports and really made the experience fun.

Priscila was a delight. We thoroughly enjoyed our port tasting. It was nice tasting from four different producers vs. just one. Loved learning what foods go with the different varietals and how that affects flavor. I look forward to serving port to friends when I return home.

We had a really nice experience. Priscilla was a super host and guided us through this tasting. It was entertaining and tasteful and we liked the port wine selection and their pairings. The only thing I would like to point out is that I would prefer to smell / taste the aroma and the flavor before she says which flavors you should smell / taste. But overall a great experience! ♥️

It was an amzing experience all together. The hotel itself is a hidden gem with the open kitchen and the beautiful outside area. Priscilla was such a nice hostess and knew a lot about the history and brought it in a very enthousiastic way. The ports themselves including the complementary snacks brought the different ports to live. Would highly reccomend! At a price of just 25 Euro pp you get a lot of value for your money.
