Great way to spend a couple of hours with a Lovely sized group of 12 on a comfortable boat. Hilarious guide ‘John Silver’ had us in stitches whilst supplying tasty wine, Port & nibbles. Would definitely recommend 👍

Beautiful day for the river cruise. Very welcoming and accommodating guide. Three tastings of wine/port with nuts and dried figs. If you are travelling to the marina from Porto city, the 9015 bus brings you from Parque des Camelias and saves you walking for over an hour!!

This was a fantastic boat tour. John Paul and Manuel were both very knowledgeable and personable. The wine was delicious and the little snacks of cashews and dried figs were a nice surprise.

We had a lovely 2 hour trip listening to our great guide and taking in the fabulous sights. We tasted some lovely wines too. A great success and a lovely, relaxed way to get an impression of Porto. The staff onboard were charming and very knowledgeable.

This is a great option to spend a few hours on the water while tasting wine and learning some interesting facts about the region. They led the tour in three different languages (Portuguese, English, and Spanish) and provided the wine, snacks, and blankets for when it suddenly became chilly. I recommend this tour.

Absolutely fantastic experience on the Douro! Everything was really well organized from start to finish. We were lucky with the weather, and the views along the river were simply spectacular. The wine selection was excellent, with some really high-quality wines offered throughout the tour. A special mention to the crew as well — both the skipper and the sailor were super young, friendly, professional and really good fun to have around. The boat was comfortable, the scenery was amazing, the wine was great, and the crew couldn’t have been nicer. Definitely one of the highlights of my time in the Douro river. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Porto!

We had a lovely experience on the tour. Afonso was very accommodating for us. We had issues with a few taxi’s cancelling our trips after making us wait for 5-10 minutes at a time, so ended up being about 10 minutes late rather than 30 minutes early. We text Afonso to let him know and he was great. The tour was brilliant and Afonso told us about a lot of the history of Porto. His knowledge of the bridges and the surrounding areas was insightful and entertaining. The boat was smaller, which in my opinion, is a positive. This meant we had a smaller intimate group and he paid attention to everyone on the trip. Afonso also took a Polaroid picture of each person at the front of the boat with a great view for free. We didn’t expect this, and honestly this small little detail was such a nice touch to add to the tour. The wine was great too. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone.

This was an incredible outing!!! Antonio and Ricardo were the best hosts we could have asked for. They were so kind, knowledgeable, and spoke 3 languages! They made us feel so comfortable and like we were long time friends. This is a MUST DO activity in Porto! Highly recommend sunset time.

We had such a wonderful experience on the water. The views are incredible, the wines fun and light. The conversation and tour was amazing. Met some lovely people from Scotland that complimented the trip. Father and son shared their experiences locally and made great recommendations for lunch and dinner. A relaxed cruise under all 6 Bridges, small groups which allowed conversation between other guests discussing the wine samples. While the big tourist boats were crammed full and moving quickly we took in the sights and would slow or stop at certain key points. The starting point also inspired us to explore areas we wouldn't have made it to. Highly recommended.

This experience is a great way to mix two must do Porto activities - port wine tasting and a boat trip. We ubered to the pick up location but it is also possible to walk which another passenger decided to do. Overall a great experience which I would recommend

Fun, friendly, fabulous views, informative, delicious wines. The trip was really enjoyable from start to finish,

the excursion was cancelled, rescheduled for another day after too many messages (with unclear, strange and late replies) and then cancelled again. In the end, the person in charge of the boat tour told us that we had to cancel the excursion with Viator if we wanted our money back. We replied that he should be the one contacting Viator, because he was the one who wanted to cancel the excursion.

We had the best time with Afonso and Carlota on our boat trip. Everything was spot on from start to finish. They were both super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the trip. The views were beautiful, and the boat had everything we could have asked for to make the experience comfortable and fun at the same time. Highly recommend! :)

This is a lovely way to get to know Porto and Gaia. The operator were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I have a disability and they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe. The trip is safe and the wine was delicious!
