Wonderful relaxing ride down the river. We saw the bridges and an introduction to Porto. So beautiful. The Porto tonic was delicious and so was the wine tasting! Sit in the front!

This was absolutely the best way to spend my last evening in Porto. It's a great little tour with tiny nuggets of history about Porto's bridges - but the sunset views is what makes this outstanding. In addition, great boat, and a really amazing Porto Tonic on offer. Recommend very highly.

Spoil yourself and book this fabulous experience immediately! We enjoyed a wonderful time, with only 2 other guests, cruising the Douro River. The boat was pristine in condition and extremely comfortable. Alberto, your host, provided a commentary throughout the trip on all things of interest, including the story of the 6 bridges, numerous points of interest and restaurants to dine at after the cruise. Drinks and snacks were provided. The conversation was informative and engaging. Great hosts! The marina and pick up & drop off point is to negotiate, we simply booked an uber there & back. Only 20 minutes from our central accommodation. I couldn't fault this trip! And the treat is at the end of the journey, cruising out on the Atlantic and watching the sun disappear! Pretty special. Alberto and Tomas were great. The tour was relaxing and informative. Viewing the two cities and bridges connecting them from a comfortable yacht, with drinks and snacks was a phenomenal experience. OPO did it right - I highly recommend.

Boat was pristine and comfortable. Service was impeccable. Drinks were tasty and plentiful. We were surprised that our group of 8 were on the larger boat with 2 additional passengers as we thought we’d booked the smaller boat and that it would therefore be just us. But we were pleased to have more space and weren’t bothered by having other guests. Highly recommend.

Tiago and Nick were amazing hosts. We got to sit on the front of the boat and the view was stunning. Tiago even had fleece blankets for us since it gets cold towards the end of the sunset. The drinks were delicious and we were given so much great information about Porto. Worth every penny. These guys are the best and you will not be disappointed. Book with them!!

Had issues trying to book our original sunset boat tour so booked this trip last minute and are we so glad we did. It was one of the best boat tours we have been on. There was 6 of us and only another couple on the boat so not crowded. Alberto and the other guy(can't remember his name now) were so lovely, friendly, professional but also a bit of craic...gave us lovely snacks and drinks...sunset was amazing. Alberto's boat was immaculate and comfy, would highly recommend booking this tour. Very good value for money.

Absolutely loved this experience! The yacht was beautiful and luxurious, and the service was incredibly professional, friendly, and welcoming. Alberto was fantastic and so knowledgeable about the city, its history, buildings, and landmarks. You could point out almost any building and he knew exactly when it was built and the story behind it, which made the experience even more interesting. The group was intimate, with only around 10 people, so it genuinely felt like a private yacht experience without the private-yacht price tag. Perfect for couples, solo travellers, or families. Just book it, relax and soak in the Porto sunset..

We had such a wonderful time on our boat tour! Our Captain Roberto was so welcoming, very attentive to our requests. The welcome drink and snack was perfect to enjoy the views with. Alberto was amazing on the two hour sunset cruise! He knows a lot about Porto and its history. When it got cold, he gave us all blankets. Alberto and his co-skipper provided a small snacks and drinks. Some were free, and others you could buy. I don’t drink much, and he offered me several non-alcoholic options. At the end of the sunset cruise, we enjoyed a dessert drink and a delicious piece of chocolate. I highly recommend this experience for anyone who wants to learn about Portugal’s architecture and history while enjoying a beautiful boat ride. Plus, Alberto is great at taking pictures!

This sunset cruise was amazing. Enrique are guide and his boat. Captain were truly the best. The drinks were great, and the service was fabulous. Enrique knew a lot about the history in the culture, and made it really fun. The sunset was beautiful. It did get fairly windy and cold, so I would definitely bring outer wear.

An excellent experience — a must if you come to Porto. Alberto was extremely kind and welcoming, the boat was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. What an absolutely great way to tour Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia and its 6 bridges along the Douro river at sunset! Captain Alberto and his First Mate provided historical details as we cruised the water and gave suggestions for food, drinks and places to visit his hometown. Making it into the Atlantic Ocean was a blast! We highly recommend taking this more intimate with room to move around cruise!

We had such a brilliant time on this boat trip! There were four of us and we did the 2-hour tour — it was the perfect length to relax, take in the views, and really enjoy the whole experience. The guide was excellent — super knowledgeable and made everything interesting. A lovely bonus was the snacks and drinks included in the package — it just made the whole experience feel a bit more special and easygoing. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun and relaxed trip. Definitely a highlight during our stay in Porto!

My husband and I went on a boat tour on the Douro River with Opo Boat Tours earlier this week and we can’t say enough good things about our experiences. Alberto, the owner was communicative and helpful and we were fortunate to have him as our captain along with his team mate Pedro. They both were gracious hosts, sharing knowledge of the area and its history. They provided a thoughtful selection of drinks and snacks. This is an excellent experience for visitors to Porto and we can’t recommend this company enough.

The sunset cruise was a highlight of our time in Porto. Not only were the views absolutely stunning, but we also learned a great deal about the history of the bridges and surrounding areas. The ride was smooth despite the choppy waves, and the beverages and snacks were excellent. We wholeheartedly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Porto.

My husband, 17 year old Daughter, and I had a fantastic experience on our Douro River Tour. The boat is beautifully maintained. Alberto and Camilo were great guides and had a myriad of recommendations of things to do and where to eat in Porto and Gaia. We enjoyed learning about both and seeing them from a different angle. We were on the water for 2.5 hours and had the privilege of watching the sunset on the Atlantic (the water was calm enough for us to actually navigate into the ocean!) My husband enjoyed the multiple drink offerings (Vinho Verde, Porto and chocolate, Porto Tonic). There were only 4 other people on the tour, and we got to sit up front by ourselves. It felt like a private tour. Very cool all around. 10 out of 10 experience. Service was top notch. We will be back!

Great boat trip with 2 crew and 8 passengers. Very informative and fun hosts with welcome port and tonic drink, a glass of local wine and port and chocolate at sunset. We had beautiful views of both sides of the river, bridges and a stunning sunset. Learnt a lot about the history of Porto. We were provided with blankets when it cooled off towards the end of the trip which were very welcome. Would recommend to anyone of any age! Thank you to the crew and Alberto for being a good communicator.

The sunset Seven Bridge tour in Porto was magical! My husband and sister had a relaxing time while listening to the history of the river and Porto given by Alberto and Paulo. The drinks were an extra nice touch and on our night we had a perfectly beautiful sunset view.

I had booked a private tour with Viator and our driver was ill. We ended up being paired up with another couple and they ended up being lovely. Viator made up to us for sharing our ride by compting us including the other couple, a charcuterie board filled with cheeses and cured meats. Plus wine and port tasting. Our guide was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and had a real passion when explaining history. A really great tour.
