Port : 7 Bridges Cruise, Local Wine With Sunset Option

We booked last minute and so glad we did and found this 2 hour 7 bridge cruise with only 8 in the small group . Our guide Jose and mica were fantastic , went over safety and kept an eye us to make sure no one falls off the boat , Jose knows history of Porto like back of his hand as he is a local . Very informative and relaxing but the most important part is he gave us the best sunset in Porto ! Snacks and wine were served plenty since we’re a small group , they served us more ❤️ I would definitely recommend them and Pedro the operator was good on responding to my questions ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We just returned from 15 days in Portugal. While in Porto, we booked the 7 Bridges Cruise at sunset. It was absolutely wonderful! David and Maria were excellent hosts on board. They served drinks and snacks that were great for the short ride. The weather was spectacular and the ride out to the ocean at sunset was a perfect end to the trip. We totally enjoyed it and would highly recommend booking this trip. The trip was scheduled to end at 7:15 and we pulled up to the marina at exactly 7:15.

The sunset from the boat was beautiful! The crew were friendly and knowledgeable and the wine devine.

The skipper gave us much information about the bridges, the buildings along the Douro and Porto. The marina with large yachts hauled out along with 5 star restaurant a 5 minute walk away! And the Port was excellent! Worth the cost and more!

The two guides were friendly, welcoming, fun and informative. Was a lovely 2 hours going up and down the Douro, with a lovely group (6 of us). The ports were all delicious. Would recommend on a sunny day!

This sunset cruise hosted by Jose and Mica was the ONE! Luxurious boat, coupled with the beautiful scenery, lovely fellow guests and loads of insider Porto knowledge from Jose. Couldn't have asked for more for a special intimate and memorable anniversary occasion! Ending with a sunset out on the ocean...

Jose, our captain and Nica, met us and helped us board the spotlessly clean boat, which was lovely and spacious, one of the nicest boats on the river. They provided soft blankets in case of a cool breeze, but it was actually very balmy. Jose evidently loves his home town and entertained us with many stories and histories. Both staff were attentive, engaging and knowledgeable. The entire experience was very relaxing and enjoyable from start to finish. I would heartily recommend this company’s tour. I know that the weather isn’t something they can control but for us, it couldn’t have been better - the sunset was spectacular, and Jose made the most of every moment for us.

This tour was everything as advertised and more, a great way to get an overview of Porto, see a sunset and taste great wine.

Loved it. It was the perfect size number of people. We all had plenty of room. Everyone was friendly. Wasn't expecting the surprise of going near the ocean at the end to see the beautiful sunset. The length of the trip was just right and perfectly timed!

Great cruise along the Douro. Captain Eduardo was extremely knowledgeable and even added personal stories. Started in the fog and mist but as we went up the river it cleared! Small group which is more personal!!

This wonderful yacht tour is a great start to time in Porto because it helps orient one to Gaia and Porto, while immersing you in the beauty of the river and its impressive bridges. It was exactly as advertised. The yacht was fantastic, the captain and the helper (I forget their names) were absolutely amazing, funny and knowledgeable. We were on the sunset tour on October 7th in the yacht.

This Bridge Cruise was perfect in every way! Eduardo and David were personable, knowledgeable hosts who balanced our trip with information, as well as allowing for personal time. The limit of 10 people ensured a comfortable, relaxed experience as we passed scenic sights while sipping our wines. Excellent value for money - book it!

Very well done. Felt spoiled on this river tour of the bridges. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and kind to everyone. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Fortunately, the weather was fine. Mota was our guide and showed a deep knowledge of today’s Porto as well as the extensive history of the area. I recommend this trip and operator.

We loved our 6 1/2 Bridges Tour (one is under construction). Our Captain and First Mate were great and the boat was very comfortable. There were only 8 of us, so there was plenty of room and fun to talk to other travelers. This was a step up from the bigger boat tours with 30+ people, or the 50 minute boat tours and we preferred it (and there was a W/C on board). If you are considering a bridges tour- treat yourself- it wasn't much more than the cheaper options, but was so much more special!

This is the BEST way to see Porto, if you are tired of walking or want to just have a relaxing part of your day this is the tour for you. Spending over two hours with two wonderful hours on a luxury boat with two wonderful guides telling you all about Porto really makes you feel like you are living the life of luxury. Ensure that you plan to have dinner in Gaia post tour to make the most of your journey out there.

Brilliant experience cruising on the Duoro. It was a perfect sunny day and sitting with a wine on a boat seeing the sights of Porto was simply wonderful. Would definitely recommend.

I was pleased that the participants were divided among several small boats, and that the boat we were on had plenty of space. My wife's son and I sat on the deck of the boat in front of the skipper, along with a young couple from Estonia. And the five of us had our own personal guide, Mica, a Porto native, who was not shy in her opinion that Porto was far superior to Lisbon. Having visited both cities, I tend to agree with her She was very friendly and a good conversationalist. We enjoyed sampling a couple of the local wines while on the cruise. The trip was well worth the money and time.

Such a beautiful way to end the day! The guides did a great job of balancing time where they gave us information about the bridges and sites with time to just relax and enjoy the scenery in peace. The boat was clean, and we felt safe. A free beverage of your choice was provided. Highly recommend and hope to take this tour again some day.

Mika and her crew were so warm and informative. The marina is crowded so it can be confusing however a crew member came and found me as I was in the bathroom. This was truly exceptional because I feared missing my cruise I was traveling alone, but quickly made friends The sunset didn’t disappoint and having a glass of wine made it even more special Thank you so much Alicia

David and our wonderful guide Rita offered us an amazing tour. Rita is delightful, personable, has an excellent sense of humour, and is very knowledgeable about Portuguese history and all things “Port wine.” The scenery is spectacular. We were offered several delicious port wine to sip and learned fascinating facts about the making of port wine. We had a relaxing boat ride down the Douro River. We had an amazing tour with Eduardo and Martim (hopefully the second name was right). We split into two smaller groups of 4 and 6 people on the lower and upper deck and started with a little welcoming. Eduardo stayed with the upper group and was a great sympathetic guide who explained all the surroundings of the river, added information about Porto in general and answered our questions, while asking us questions or referring to where we came from. We stopped spontaneously and quite a bit for interesting sights for example kids making a show jumping off the bridge or dolphins swimming in ocean infront of the stunning sunset. I really enjoyed this and would recommend it to everyone!

Our guide, Reta was informative, clear, humourous, knowledgeable and she communicated clearly in impeccable English. The boat was modern,clean and comfortable, offering a variety of places from which to observe the view of this impressive river with its equally impressive bridges.

We had a wonderful time in the 6 Bridges tour. Sofia and David were so lovely. It was great to get the history of the area and bridges going out and just relax on the way back. Highly recommend!
