the experience was amazing!! from start to finish the guide was very fun and knowledgeable! we drunk tons of wine and really enjoyed learning bout each wine. the food they offered was good for a tour. i would recommend doing this tour.

Really fun. The guide, Ricardo, was funny and gave us information about the region and the making of Port. The lunch was was very tasty and the winery did a great job.

What an absolute delightful WY to see the Duoro Valley. The transport was comfortable, our Guide Andre was fantastic, the size of the group was great. The valley was breathtaking, the host of the River Cruise was actually inspirational and passionate about the wine making families' relationship with the earth and each other. All around delight!

Enjoyed the smaller group and shorter day. Douro valley Beautiful scenery. Lunch was delicious. I believe our guide was Andre , (sorry if I got that wrong) he was very entertaining and informative. He Went out of his way to help us get tickets to a soccer game. Definitely recommend.

The experience all in all was pretty good. Our guide was knowledgeable and a very good driver. The time on the river was the weakest part of the tour. Just a 50 minute up and down a small stretch of the river in an electric boat moving at about 2 miles an hour with a two or three glasses of wine. I was hoping to see a lot more of the river valley. The lunch was in a very nice winery building with a separate room for our group of seven. The chicken option was just ok but the wine was plentiful and very good. The tasting afterwards was nice. The hostesses at the lunch and tastings were very nice. For me, the 1 1/2 ride back and forth was a very good opportunity to see the beautiful countryside of the Douro River valley.

Had a great day but communication poor on arrival at starting point poor. We arrived half an hour early and joined a EFun trip on the wrong bus as tickets not checked. Luckily it was discovered due to an emergency toilet stop. Other than that the trip was absolutely fantastic good company, generous wine / port and food. julianna was knowledgeable and good guide/driver. (Communication at the start as to who to meet would have made it 5 star)
such an incredible trip! i actually booked a different tour with the same company and boarded the wrong bus, and still couldn’t be happier with how my day turned out. our guide, Rita, was so kind and helpful in helping me navigate this mistake and said i could either join their group or find my original and i’m very happy with my choice to stay. also incredibly knowledgeable and funny and made this such a fun and enriching tour.

Driver, guide, boat tour and food and drink were superb! The Google map pin sends you one block down from the church. The temperature control in the van we had was faulty and we had 40°C heat coming out at our feet. Strong diesel smell as well.

This was a 10/10 experience for our family. I spent a lot of time researching different tours before our trip and landed on this one for the length of time and added reviews. I did this trip with my husband and my parents, one of which is very hard of hearing, and this was absolutely amazing for all four of us. We had a smaller tour with a total of 7 people including the guide. This allowed us to be in a van rather than a larger tour bus, which was perfect for us, with my dad being about 85% deaf. He could sit next to Tiago, our guide, in the van to ask questions and hear the tour. The Duoro valley was beautiful and we had a blast trying the wines and learning about the history. Having a smaller group was also great because it was more intimate, so we got to know the others on our tour as well. Tiago, our guide, was amazing. He spoke English very well, and he was a native to Porto, so he had tons of knowledge to share with us. His love for Portugal was commendable! Additionally, the smaller van helped with the drive down to the Duoro River, as it was a longer, windy road. I get motion sickness easily, and Tiago made sure we knew that he would stop if I needed air. Additionally, he knew the spots to stop for the best photos, one of which is attached. The lunch was great, the codfish and the chicken were both good options, and they do not short you on wine or port! I recommend this trip to any couple for family looking for a trip that doesn’t take all day. We would absolutely take the same tour again!
Book this tour!!! Juliana is the best guide & a half day is PERFECT! We departed at 8:30 & were back by 3:30. The Mercedes transportation is comfy & luxurious, Juliana was very informative, doing our tour in Portuguese & English. The boat ride was stunning & the winery we went to was incredible. What a fun way to see the Douro Valley without it taking up too much time! Would recommend to anyone. Our driver Lucas was awesome too!
We had a wonderful time on this tour with our toddler son and I can recommend this tour for families. Thiago is an energetic guide and Lucas made the trip smooth and safe with his driving - both are very kind. We appreciated that they contacted us the day before to arrange the type of car seat needed for our son, which was already nicely set up on arrival. The small group, chill pace of all the stops, and overall organization was great. Obrigada!

This tour exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend booking this tour, you absolutely won’t regret it and it’s a MUST when visiting Porto. Our tour guide was amazing, so knowledgeable, personable, and friendly. The lunch is at the home turned vineyard of Dono Antonia Ferreira the “Queen of the Douro” and the home was kept as it was in the 18th century. The vineyard is absolutely breathtaking as well as the boat ride where you see the Duoro valley

This tour was certainly one of the highlights of our trip. Rita, our tour guide was amazing. So knowledgeable, sweet and thoughtful. Couldn’t have asked for any e better to share and learn about the Duoro Vallry. The sights she chose were breathtaking as well. I strongly recommend her and her company.

This a beautiful experience to a world heritage location. Be prepared for a long bus ride from Porto (90 minutes). The scenery was amazing and heartwarming. Take your camera! There is not a lot of walking. There is a boat ride that’s nice. There is also a port tasting and very delicious lunch with wine, keep in mind the table setting is kind of formal.
Awesome experience. It was a wonderful small group experience. Tiago and Lucas were fantastic. Just a wonderful time. I highly recommend this tour. It gives you a taste of everything, but nothing overwhelming. Six hours were perfect. Thanks for a fab day.

Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable guide, John. Bus driver Luke was also very accommodating . Clean and comfortable van. I was traveling alone for the first time in many years and felt welcome and looked after. The scenery was beautiful, all of the attractions were spectacular. I particularly enjoyed the lunch in the gardens of the historical home.
From start to finish our guide Tiago was amazing. His knowledge was incredible for someone so young. Brilliant lunch, bottomless wine, super boat trip and winery visit. Probably the best value trip we have ever been on. Outstanding
An absolutely fabulous trip. Tiago our guide was absolutely brilliant, full of interesting facts and information and really friendly. He went above a beyond to make our trip memorable. The boat trip was very relaxing and a great opportunity to try some different wines whilst enjoying the wonderful Douro scenary. The lunch was superb, very tasty well prepared dishes with good quality wine and port flowing. Could not recommend this trip highly enough.
The tour itself was terrific, but our guide, Rita, was the essential ingredient that made the experience exceptional. She was knowledgeable, excellent at interacting with a variety of persons, and eager to share her enthusiasm for the Douro Valley and the sights she showed us. We were able to linger at the lunch destination and engage with the property personnel for a truly personal experience, but that didn't mean we were late returning to Porto--because of Rita. Top rating for Rita for sure!
Tiago was a great guide! He was very knowledgeable and incredibly funny. He made the time in the van educational and entertaining. The food was delicious and the ports were amazing. We even bought a few bottles and shipped them home.

The half day tour was relaxing and informative. Our driver and guide, Juliana, was very friendly, easy going and always available to help when needed. Lunch was good and the brief port explanation was sufficient to keep us interested. Well worth the time!

A wonderful day from start to finish - organised, professional and informative. It was a trip booked as a gift to ourselves for our 30th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint.
