The tour was very good - it was very well planned and timed with lots of interesting stops, lots of interesting information and plenty of free time to look around and get lunch. Our guide, Monica, was very friendly, helpful and informative. We enjoyed our day very much and would recommend this trip to others.

A great tour as you get a taste of the different places we visited. Not a lot of walking and at the right time as not crowded.
It was a perfect day. Each location was nicely timed out. Joao, our guide, was very attentive and knowledgeable in the history, people and architecture of each town. The views and Sanctuaries were magnificent. Again, a full day but the right amount of time in each town--with guided and free time. And, Francisco, our bus driver, got us to each location and back safely--a great team.. Highly recommend--excellent overview. Much better than arranging my own transport, which I had planned to do, for Braga and Viana do Castelo.
Our guide Juan was very knowledgeable and also very helpful. Our driver Francisco was excellent. We both enjoyed this trip
It was a long day but so worth it. The areas that you see are so different from Porto and give you a totally different perspective. Highly recommend. Great value for the price!
Staff were knowledgeable and funny! While 3 stops can sound like a lot, there is plenty of time to rest and chat between bus ride and some leisure time!
We had such a great time with João and Enrique. They were great guides, and our driver Lurdes was fantastic. We had visited 3 cities and all of them were beautiful. Viana was my favorite, but the others were great too. It was a great day!
This was well worth the time and money. Very nice day visiting historic sites and cities in Portugal. Take note that the tour does not enter the Castelo de Guimaraes
We thoroughly enjoyed our day visiting these three cities in the Minho region. Our guide Carlos really made a huge difference for us with his quiet, calm demeanor, and incredible knowledge of the history, architecture, and importance of each of these three cities… Also a shout out to our incredibly capable driver, Lourdes. This tour is a great opportunity to visit and obtain an introduction into this lovely historical region. It’s a long day but well worth it. Highly recommend.
Fabulous day out.The guides were very informative and made it a very interesting experience.Excellent value for money!
Really great tour of the Minho region of Portugal. It is a long day but the bus is very comfortable, well air conditioned and the tour guides are very accommodating and really well knowledges with their history and facts. Highly recommend.
An awesome taste of Portugal culture that let me wanting more. Our guides Paulo and Maria were amazing, helpful, hilarious and great at keeping the tour going. They really made the whole tour for us, and it was an amazing adventure. The timing is tight, so you don't get a ton of time in some areas like Braga and Guimarães, but I think it's still worth it to go with this one that includes Viano do Castelo!
This Was extraordinary beautiful each City has the unique architecture and history, we enjoyed each one of them. Our tour guide NuNo was great explaining each different city and answering all the questions. Highly recommended.
Mónica and Bruno are great guides, but the tour itself is a bit disappointing. You barely have time to explore the places, and some interesting spots — like the castle in Guimarães or the site with the king’s tomb in Braga — are impossible to visit with the short “free time” they give you. I actually got a bit lost in Braga, and when I called the numbers listed here to get directions back to the bus, no one answered.
The most amazing tour guides and places to see. Maria and Enrico were the best tour guides ever. Lourdes was a terrific bus driver. The bus was very comfortable and air conditioned. This team above and beyond for us. My husband had difficulty walking and they were incredibly accommodating and kind. Made sure we were comfortable and safe. I would give them all 100 stars if I could. We learned so much history and the places were absolutely beautiful. Ask for this amazing team you will be so happy you did.
Our tour was bilingual (English/Spanish). Led by Henrique & Alejandre. We had a wonderful experience as both of them are very knowledgeable and kept our bus ride very entertaining. Alejandre led the Spanish group. He made all of us feel included, informed and kept the group engaged. He made our tour fun and prepared us to make the best of our free time and trip. We really enjoyed our tour and are thankful for the great memories.
I would have loved to give a 5 Star review but unfortunately due to one of the tour guides giving us the incorrect meeting location after our free time in Viana Do Castelo we almost missed the bus. Our tour guides were Miguel and Eduardo. There were 4 of us waiting (2 ladies and my husband and I). After 20 minutes of waiting, My husband contacted the tour company via WhatsApp, they contacted the guides, then came to pick us up. Miguel apologized he gave us the incorrect meeting location. Thank goodness the tour company responded to us immediately or else the 4 of us (the 2 ladies were travelling separately) would have been left in Viana do Castelo. Overall the tour was a good balance, just wished it didn’t rain as well.
I chose this tour over others because it included Viana do Castelo rather htan just Braga and Guimaraes, and I am very glad I did. Viana do Castelo is beautiful, particularly the hilltop basilica with incredible views over the ocean! Braga and Guimaraes were also really interesting, though I am glad we had nice weather before an expected heat wave is set to start. Our guide Alexander was very knowledgeable and really informative, telling us a lot about Porto and the surrounding area while en route, in addition to when we were walking around each location.
Great experience. Lots to see with knowledgeable guides, Enrique and Maria. Highly recommend this tour company.
Great opportunity to see 3 cities in the Minho region in a day. Tour guides were informative. It was a large group tour — maybe 40 people. However, tour was well-organized and paced with sufficient free time. The only thing I would change would be less time in Viano, which while lively cathedral and quaint town, not much to see or do, and spend more time at Bom Jesus. That would allow arrival in Braga in time to tour the inside of the Braga se/cathedral which was closed for lunch while we were there. Overall, we very much enjoyed the tour and would recommend.
A group of about 30-40 rider on a comfortable charter bus to each destination. One guide in English and one guide for Spanish. At each stop the first half of your time is guided walking and sharing the history and significance of the sites. The second half of each stop gives you time to wander around. We did make a short list of 1 or 2 little places we wanted to maybe check out at each stop, like the Lego specialty shop in Viana. The second stops in Braga, gave time for lunch at one of the many cafes you’ll pass. Not a strenuous tour, but a full day with friendly guides and great sights to see.
Our guides, Carlos and Nunu, and our driver Carlos have been amazing. They took us to amazing places, filling us with a wealth of information about each place we visited. We learned a lot about the history of Portugal in general, and the cities we have visited. We fell in love with Braga, and felt a spiritual connection with St Luisa and Bom Jesus sanctuaries. We had a rich and fulfilling day thanks to Carlos, Nunu and Carlos! Thank you all!
This was amazing trip. The tour guides were very knowledgable. Bus driver was also professional. Than you.
The guides were fantastic, knowledgeable & humorous. The day worked like a clockwork.
Entire trip is very relaxing. No rush and no drama.
A wonderful experience and fantastic guide. I loved the combo of information and also solo time to wander on our own.
This was a long day but so worth it. Every stop was beautiful and interesting, this area is so full of history.
Overall it’s a mediocre experience for an English speaker. The guide wasn’t so grade. Though the Spanish guide was quite informative.
The tour was just what we needed: to see northern Portugal, visit cities, and visit historic sites. There can be a lot of walking, including up and down hills. If you have difficulty walking as we did, the guide was very accommodating and we were able to participate at our own pace. There was ample free time to explore on our own and not feel rushed in any way.
Bruno was an excellent tour guide. All the places we visited were well-explained in great detail. An overall good day experience and well worth it. He also gave a good lunch recommendation.
Goncalo and Carlos were great hosts. Our driver Carlos took great care of us throughout the day. The tour was a good balance of quiet time on the bus with awesome scenery and commentary by Goncalo, walking tour at all our sites and a good amount of down time to explore on our own or with others on the tour. I recommend Goncalo our guide who blended history, great knowledge of the sites we visited with humor. I highly recommend the tour.
Guimaraes : From Braga there is a bus that takes you to Guimaraes in 30 minutes. It drops you off very close to the historic center so you can walk and start experiencing its medieval streets. It is worth walking to the castle and the residence of the counts. It is said that the King was born here, which is why it is said that Portugal was born here. They have some squares that are very typical of the era.
A magnificent day, the Quinta and the castle of Sintra are extraordinary to see, Anna is a very competent guide who gives a lot of her time and knowledge to everyone throughout the day! A big thank you!
Very good, it is great to know the history of the places, see their beauties and know their peculiarities.
A pleasant excursion led by Andres and Zara, two friendly guides who took great care of the visitors. A beautiful historical and religious heritage. It's just a shame not to have had more time at certain sites.
Super complete tour, with the best stops, and we could see so much this day! Our guide Henrique was fundamental to provide us with valuable information and tips during the tour.
We had a good time! Carlos number 1!!!! Complete trip beautiful and fun we visited a lot of places was beautiful talented super professional 5 Stars recommended
Carlos the guide is excellent. Fluent in five (5) languages, has a solid field knowledge. 3 cities in the day are worth it. I love my experience today. 10/10. Thank you Carlos for showing me your hometown Guimarães
Our guide carlos very friendly, I don't remember surname but I know he was born in guimaraes and explained everything excellent and I loved the 3 very picturesque and beautiful places.
