We had a great time with Pedro. He showed us places as a tourist we would not have gone to. That is what I really liked. He gave us a lot of history of the various areas we visited. We found Pedro to be very knowledgeable about the whole country. Great time and we would highly recommend him.

This charming city is famous for its colorful “moliceiros” boats, which run through quiet canals used to collect algae and salt. Walk through the historic center to admire the Art Nouveau architecture, taste the typical “soft eggs” and explore the lively markets full of fresh fish and local products. The fusion of canals, culture and delicious gastronomy makes Aveiro an unforgettable stop on your trip between Porto and Lisbon.
This picturesque fishing village is known for the imposing waves of North Beach, where surfers from all over the world seek to beat records. Enjoy breathtaking views from the Sitio view, erected well above the cliffs, and stroll through the lively marginal to feel the authentic coastal charm of the village. You’ll have plenty of time for lunch at a local restaurant—whether recommended by your guide or one of your choice—where you can enjoy fresh seafood and traditional Portuguese dishes. Let yourself be engaged by the magic of Nazareth, with its stunning natural beauty, centuries-old fishing traditions and exciting surfing culture.
Fatima stands out among the most important places of Catholic pilgrimage in the world, attracting visitors moved by the apparitions of the Virgin Mary in 1917. In the heart of the village is the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima, which hosts the Chapel of the Apparitions and the imposing Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of peace, light a candle in silent gathering, or simply observe the devotion of pilgrims coming from afar. The quiet aura of Fatima provides a striking experience for both the faithful and the curious, making it a powerful and enlightening addition to your journey between Porto and Lisbon.
Travel in time by entering Óbidos, a walled medieval village full of Portuguese charm. Walk through the narrow paved streets, flanked by broken houses adorned with colorful flowers, and explore the ancient castle erected on top of the hill. Don’t miss the opportunity to taste “Ginjinha de Óbidos,” a ginja liqueur traditionally served in a glass of chocolate — a delight that reflects local heritage. With its iconic architecture and stunning views from the walls, Óbidos offers a captivating glimpse of Portugal’s historic past.

Our guide Pedro was excellent on our trip from Porto to Lisbon. The 4 towns that we visited on our trip had great vibe & atmosphere. Pedro knew lots of the locals which made our trip more personal and fun.
Our guide Pedro had all kinds of facts about the history and culture of Portugal. Best of all he set us up with a Portuguese restaurant in Nazare, all local fish, delicious! We stopped in Obidos for a glass of organic ginja, a cherry liqueur, so smooth. Pedro kept us entertained from Porto to Lisbon.
Pedro was such a wonderful guide! He was knowledgeable , fun and made the whole experience memorable. I would highly recommend him.
We booked the transfer from Porto to Obidos with stops in Aveiro, Nazare and Obidos. Andreia was our driver and spent almost 10 hours with us. She was a very safe driver, gave us lots of information about the towns and we never felt rushed during our stops. The price was definitely worth it in our opinion to turn a travel day into a sightseeing day!
We had a very nice experience with Pedro from Porto to Lisbon. We stopped in Aveiro, Nazaré and Óbidos, and it was a really nice way to see some places in Portugal on the same day. Pedro was very friendly and helpful during all the trip. He gave us time to visit each place and never made us feel rushed. The car was comfortable and everything was easy. Thank you Pedro for the nice day! We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend this transfer.
We booked our lovely guide Joel to take us on a private and personalised trip from Porto to Lisbon with 3 stops . We wanted to make a trip to Lousã in which Joel happily obliged and altered to fit out requests to fit alongside our other requested stops including Nazare and Obidos. Joel was very thoughtful and accomodating to our requests which we appreciated tremendously. Joel was not just a driver but a fabulous guide full of knowledge in every town we made. He was able to not only drive us safely to our stops but give us historical information and local knowledge about the Portuguese way of life. We particularly appreciated the restaurant recommendations for Portuguese cuisine which we enjoyed tremendously. If you’re looking for a private guide/driver I would recommend Joel any day of the week, pricing is very fair and worth every cent. Fabulous day with a great guide.
Our Porto to Lisbon private transfer with Pedro through 3 cities: Aveiro, Nazaré, and Óbidos was nothing short of amazing. Pedro was very friendly, accommodating, and very knowledgeable about the history of the sights we saw on our way to Lisbon. You can tell that he is very experienced from his professionalism, how well aquatinted he was with the locals, and perfect recommendations for visits in each city. I know for certain if I had visited these cities alone I would have missed some of the places that became highlights of our trip that only Pedro knew about. I can’t recommend Pedro enough, he really made our first time visiting Portugal one to remember.
We did 3 cities with Pedro and it was well worth the price! Pedro is very easy to talk to so the transport time flew by. He let us know about the main attractions in each city and gave us ample time to explore. The recommendations of places to eat and visit were top notch, and he’s built so much trust with the local businesses that they all know him by name. Next time we visit Portugal, I will want to do another tour with him!
Pedro was on time to pick us up from our hotel in Porto. He provided transportation from Porto to Lisbon, Spain by way of Fatima and several other stops that he recommended. The experience was educational as well as fun. We had a wonderful time and would gladly book him again if the occasion arises! He also made some excellent recommendations for dining and sightseeing in Lisbon! We will recommend him to our friends. A wonderful time, Diane Lizzo
We had a wonderful trip from Porto to Lisbon with Pedro as our driver. Pedro was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating throughout the entire journey. He made the drive comfortable and enjoyable, and the stops along the way were beautiful and well worth visiting. Everything was relaxed and perfectly organized, and we never felt rushed. Pedro’s great personality made the experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this trip and especially Pedro. Thank you for making our journey from Porto to Lisbon such a memorable part of our vacation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Pedro was friendly, knowledgeable, Resourceful
Pedro was our guide and driver. He showed us several towns between Porto and Lisbon. Pedro was excellent. His recommendation for lunch was great
Piedro was a generational guide, if you're the type of person that wants the insider experience from a history buff, Piedro is your guy, no doubt about it. I wish we booked more in advance so we could've done Douro with him as well.
We had a wonderful experience with Pedro from Ten for Tours as our driver and guide from Porto to Lisbon. He made the journey truly memorable by sharing fascinating historical insights about the regions, towns, and landmarks we passed along the way. We stopped at two beautiful locations, including Óbidos, where Pedro took us to a charming family-owned tasting experience that gave us a wonderful taste of local culture and hospitality. His knowledge, professionalism, and friendly personality made the trip both enjoyable and informative. Pedro also provided excellent recommendations and insider tips for our time in Lisbon, which helped us make the most of our visit. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable throughout the journey and was always happy to answer our questions. What could have been just a transfer between cities became one of the highlights of our Portugal trip. We highly recommend Pedro and Ten for Tours to anyone looking for a personalized, informative, and enjoyable travel experience. Thank you, Pedro, for an unforgettable day!
Pedro was very knowledgeable, engaging, and loves his job. We spoke non-stop from one place to another. He brought us to a family owned restaurant in Nazare where the seafood was amazing. He introduced us to Carolina, a nut and fruit vendor who was so charming. He took us to a centuries old wine store where they make their own Ginja. Luis Miguel, the owner, gave us a personal and private tour that was priceless. We enjoyed every minute of our trip and I would highly recommend it. Obrigada Pedro!
We wanted to see as much of Portugal as possible during our stay so the tour of 4 stops between Porto and Lisbon was ideal. We stopped at Costa Nova, Aveiro, Nazare and Obidos and had plenty of opportunity to experience each unique location. We were very glad to have chosen this way to travel!
Highly recommend, very professional and knowledgeable about the cities. Car was very clean and comfortable as well!!
From the moment he picked us up in Porto, Pedro was warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. His English is excellent, and he has that perfect balance of being friendly without ever feeling intrusive. He gave us just the right amount of history, fun stories, and local recommendations, all while keeping the ride smooth and relaxed.
It’s a very convenient way to move from Oporto to Lisbon, while seeing more of Portugal. Pedro was our enthusiast driver, who shared with us Portugal history and culture both past and present. We went to 3 different towns each with their own personalities. We had a delicious lunch in Nazaré which was thoughtfully set up by Pedro. Pedro may have started out as our driver but as he dropped us off at our hotel in Lisbon, we felt as if we had spent the day with a close friend or family member.
This was a great way to travel and learn more about the country. Pedro was fun and knowledgeable about the different areas! We stopped in Nazaré and Aviero and would never have been able to see these places otherwise!
We had a great time with Pedro! My family and I enjoyed the ease of being picked up in front our of our Porto accommodation, site seeing in a few cities, and getting dropped our Lisbon accommodation. It was a very relaxing way to transfer cities and see a few towns along the way we wouldn’t have seen if we took the train. Thanks friend! See you next time!
If I could give 10 stars, I would! It was our pleasure to have Pedro drive us from Porto to Lisbon, with three stops along the way. Aveiro, Nazare and Obidos. We would have never found these beautiful spots, or learned about them if it had not been for Pedro. His Mercedes van was clean and comfortable for the 8 hour day we spent together. He showed us a fantastic spot for lunch which was delicious! Pedro also gave us a list of Lisbon recommendations while we spent the next 4 days there visiting. Best day ever!
Pedro was professional, friendly, and punctual! He was a pleasure to drive with and got us to Lisbon in good time.
booked a one-way tour from Porto to Lisbon with stops in Aveiro and Nazaré and it ended up being one of the highlights of our Portugal trip. Our guide, Pedro, was incredible super friendly, knowledgeable, and just a great person to spend the day with. Aveiro was like a little Portuguese Venice, and Nazaré completely blew us away with its ocean views and crazy surf history. Pedro shared so many cool local stories and even recommended a killer seafood spot for lunch. Instead of wasting a day traveling, we got a full-on cultural experience on the road. Couldn’t recommend this more!
This was such a great experience. I was looking for a way to get from Lisbon to Porto and this tour made it so much more than just a transfer. We stopped in Tomar, Batalha and Fátima, and each place had something unique to offer. What really made the day special was our guide, Eduardo. He was super friendly, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. You could tell he really loves what he does. The day was well paced, we never felt rushed, and the van was very comfortable. I definitely recommend this tour if you want to see a bit more of Portugal on the way to Porto. Totally worth it.
We had the very best day on our private tour with Joel from Porto to Lisbon. He is so knowledgeable about the area and all the places we visited on our trip. We started the day with a stop to explore in Aveiro and then on to Nazare where we enjoyed the spectacular views and a very special lunch arranged for us. Next stop was the magical medieval town of Obidos, Joel went above and beyond to make our day special. So many laughs and wonderful memories!
BOOK WITH JOEL! I never write reviews but he far exceeded our expectations. We hired Joel for a private tour from Porto to Lisbon. The day started in Aviero which had the most lovely laid back vibe. Joel gave us plenty of time to explore without feeling rushed. We continued on to Praia do Norte where we were able to overlook the beautiful beaches of Nazare. We enjoyed the most intimate personal lunch of local fish and delicious wine at Rosa dos Ventos, this restaurant is a do NOT miss! The last stop of the day was Obidos which was the most quaint and beautiful walled city. Joel is incredibly knowledgeable of the rich Portugal history as well as incredibly kind with so much attention to detail. We never felt rushed and left feeling like we had known Eachother for years. Thank you Joel for an incredible day in this beautiful country.
If you want an outstanding tour to all the beautiful places between Porto and Lisbon, then you must book with Joel (Piedro). He is an excellent communicator for all organisational details for your trip. His luxurious van is comfortable and he makes sure you have every comfort. He shared so many facts and historical details on the drive. He was able to give us detailed recommendations for each stop. All of his personal contacts and recommendations were excellent. The Mercedes luxury van was super comfortable and spacious, making the long ride really pleasant. Definitely recommend this service if you want a hassle-free and stylish way to travel between the two cities.
Kicked off in Porto and hit the road south toward Lisbon, but instead of rushing straight there, we made a few stops that turned the drive into a wicked awesome day. First up was Aveiro — they call it the “Venice of Portugal.” Cute little canals, colorful boats, and the smell of pastries everywhere. Tried an ovos moles — sweet, creamy, and way better than it looks. Next stop, Nazaré. Even if you’re not into surfing, this place is unreal. The waves are massive, and the view from the cliff will knock your socks off. You just stand there, wind in your face, thinking, “Yeah… this is something else.” Last break before Lisbon was Óbidos, a picture-perfect medieval village with stone walls and cobblestone streets. Grabbed a little shot of ginjinha in a chocolate cup — because when in Portugal, why not?
I had an incredible experience on the Porto to Lisbon tour with Eduardo. We kicked things off in Aveiro, where we cruised through the beautiful canals and tasted the delicious ovos moles. Next, we visited Nazaré, and Eduardo gave us fascinating insights into the massive waves there, along with stunning views from the top. We ended the day in Lisbon. It was a perfect mix of culture, nature, and history – highly recommended!
I did the Porto to Lisbon tour with Pedro, and it was an awesome experience. We first stopped in Aveiro, where we took a boat ride along the canals and tasted the famous ovos moles. Then we headed to Nazaré, where Pedro shared fascinating facts about the huge waves, and we enjoyed breathtaking views from the Sítio. The day ended in Lisbon. It was the perfect way to explore both the coast and the cities. Highly recommend!

Our guide, Eduardo, made the trip even better — super friendly, knowledgeable, and full of interesting stories about every place we visited. Aveiro was charming, with its canals and colorful boats. I loved trying the traditional ovos moles. Óbidos was like stepping into a fairy tale — the medieval walls, narrow streets, and ginjinha in a chocolate cup were unforgettable.
This tour from Porto to Lisbon was incredibly well-organized and offered a perfect balance of scenic stops and cultural highlights. Aveiro was charming with its canals and Art Nouveau architecture. Nazaré impressed with its dramatic coastline and famous waves—truly breathtaking. Óbidos felt like stepping back in time, with its medieval walls and picturesque streets. Each stop added something unique to the experience. The pace was comfortable, the guide was knowledgeable, and the journey between cities felt seamless. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to explore more of Portugal beyond just the major cities
This full-day tour from Porto to Lisbon, with several short stops in Aveiro and a longer one in Fátima, was one of the highlights of the trip. Everything was well-organized, comfortable, and perfectly timed to enjoy different parts of Portugal without feeling rushed. The day started early in Porto. The guide was professional, friendly, and shared interesting insights about the regions we passed through. The vehicle was modern, clean, and air-conditioned—perfect for a long journey. We made three short stops in Aveiro, each offering a different side of the town. One stop by the canals with the traditional boats (moliceiros), another in the historical center with beautiful Art Nouveau architecture, and a quick stop to try the local ovos moles pastry. It was a quick glimpse into Aveiro, enough to enjoy its charm without staying too long. The next stop was in Fátima, where we had more time to explore. The sanctuary area was calm and powerful, with enough time to visit the Basilica, the Chapel of the Apparitions, and walk around at our own pace. It felt respectful and unhurried, which made the experience even better. We reached Lisbon in the late afternoon, with a relaxed drive into the city and a smooth drop-off at the hotel. The whole experience felt effortless, with a great balance of sightseeing, comfort, and travel. Highly recommended for anyone looking to make the most of their journey between Porto and Lisbon. It’s a great way to discover a few special places along the way, without the hassle of figuring it out on your own.
Alright, so I booked this tour not really knowing what to expect — figured it’d be a bunch of old churches and some photo ops. Turns out, it was actually awesome. Aveiro? Kinda like Venice’s chill cousin. Cute boats, cool vibes, and they fed us these sweet little egg things. Weirdly good. Nazaré? Absolutely wild. I’ve seen some waves in Montauk, but these? Monster waves. Even in the off-season, the place has serious energy. Fátima was calm and powerful in its own way. Not exactly my usual scene, but something about it just hits you. You don’t have to be religious to feel it. The guide kept things moving, gave us space, didn’t overtalk — 10/10. Would recommend if you want a break from the city noise and a little taste of Portugal that’s actually worth your time.
I did a tour from Porto to Lisbon with stops in Aveiro and Nazaré and loved it! Eduardo, our guide, was amazing — really friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to everyone. The car was super comfortable, a Mercedes, which made the trip even better. The places were beautiful, and the stops in Aveiro and Nazaré were perfect. Highly recommend it if you want to explore these spots in Portugal with someone who really knows what they’re doing!
Our private tour from Porto to Lisbon was an incredible experience from start to finish. We began the day in Porto, soaking in the city’s character and rich history. Along the way, we stopped in Aveiro, often called the “Venice of Portugal,” where the tranquil canals and traditional moliceiro boats offered a unique and charming atmosphere. Next, we visited Nazaré, famous for its dramatic cliffs and massive waves — truly a breathtaking sight that captures the raw power of the Atlantic. The final stop before reaching Lisbon was the enchanting town of Óbidos, with its medieval walls, cobbled streets, and delightful local shops. Sipping a glass of Ginja in a chocolate cup was the perfect way to end the journey. Every destination offered something unique, and the tour was perfectly paced and thoughtfully planned. It’s a fantastic way to discover the heart of Portugal in just one day.

Fantastic day‑trip from Porto to Lisbon! We stopped in Aveiro, Coimbra, and Fátima—each stop offered something special. The Aveiro canal boat ride was charming and the ovos moles were delicious. Coimbra’s university and Joanina Library were breathtaking. At Fátima, the basilicas had a peaceful, spiritual atmosphere. Our driver was friendly, informative, and punctual. Highly recommend!
The best day trip I left Porto early and reached Aveiro first — charming canals, colorful moliceiro boats, and tasty ovos moles. It felt like Portugal’s little Venice. Next, Fátima felt peaceful and meaningful, even with just a short visit to the Sanctuary and Chapel of Apparitions. Then Nazaré: I took the funicular up to O Sítio, walked the cliff‑top streets, and watched surfers chase giant waves at Praia do Norte. Lunch by the ocean was unforgettable. The drive to Lisbon was relaxing. I arrived in the evening feeling I’d truly experienced the highlights of Portugal in one day.
