From Arouca: Paiva River Canoe Rafting Adventure Tour

We had so much fun! 4 hours flew past. Alvaro was a great guide - helpful, informative and very kind. We came at the end of the season so the water was slightly lower than it should’ve been, meaning the rapids weren’t too extreme and we did end up getting stuck on the rocks - remember to wiggle and shake to free the canoe! The company provide you with full gear, a bottle of water and a small snack along the way. Being able to swim helps, but even if you can’t, the life jackets provide full support. We stopped at 2 spots where we swam - one of which had you jumping either 2m or 4m from a rock. Alvaro took plenty of photos and videos along the way, so you don’t have to bring your phone with you (if you do, it’s at your own risk). Great weather and even better company. Our group was quite small (10 people including the guide), so we had a calm and relaxing experience. It was our first time canoeing and I definitely recommend this for anyone looking for an adrenaline rush with beautiful scenery! Thank you for the experience!

Also as an extra bonus he took a lot of fun pictures of the trip! Totally recommend this activity! We will be back for sure - maybe when there is more water in the river. But evens the water levels were lower - it was still a great adventure for us. So yes absolutely 5 stars. We also booked the lunch - it was a fantastic way to extend the nice trip. Cute restaurant and good food. Thanks Pedro!!

Really beautiful way to see the river. Our adventure was upgraded due to the rain. The rapids were fun and our tour guide was experienced and warm, like a Portuguese Santa, making us feel safe and encouraging everyone to have fun. It was a little cold, but the gear we were provided was perfect, and initially nearly too good at keeping us warm in the sun. I only wish the river was longer. Very very good way to see the river and quite fun.

At first she was skeptical and then delighted with everything that followed. There followed 2 hours in which the joy of being in nature on a good and obedient river, supervised but without being disturbed by Pedro - our guide and observer are a memory to which you want to return. Very funny and enjoying activity, the guides were great and cool, everything was perfect! The river landscapes is very beautiful, the water very clean with fishes. Please do not use solar cream, it kills the nature here!

It is very tasty, an experience that we will definitely want to repeat when the waters are higher. But it's worth going no matter what time it is. My father and I loved, the guides are super friendly and do not leave quite safe the whole trip. I thank the whole team and hope to see you all again.

We sailed a nice stretch and were well guided by Lee, which is a nice addition that he takes pictures that are shared via goodly drive. This time of year the water is low, but despite that we had a few nice gears. Thanks for the nice day and hopefully back in April for rafting;-)

We have a great time with Pedro who we feel loves his work and his area. He knew how to reassure us (2 novice children 8 and 11 years) and make us discover the beautiful region , we felt like in Ardèche! I really advise them, they work in collaboration with "casa do soutinho" and value together the economy and local products.

Cano-rafting was a fantastic experience. The guides are very attentive, attentive to the safety and fun of everyone. We made the route to the Sandinho. Between one quick and another there were the pools in the river where we stopped to swim and get the most out of the day. Super recommend!!!

One of the best weekends ever! We did cano-rafting, canyoning and the jeep tour and it was absolutely amazing! There are no words to describe the kindness and sympathy of the instructors, especially Pedro Teixeira, Pedro Lapas and José Pedro! It was a weekend that will stay in my memory forever! I encourage everyone to try even if it is an activity with Just Come, there is no way not to like it! The greatest success in the world for this spectacular Enterprise!!

It is impossible to describe what was provided to us except by the word EXCELLENT! We know we’ll have a good experience when we feel at home and with friends, and that’s exactly what I felt with this team! We were accompanied by Pedro Teixeira and Pedro Lapas in cano-rafting and Conyoning, complicated activities for some but that, accompanied by these two professionals, do with both legs on the back. We also made a UMM tour of Serra da Freita where Zé Pedro was an exceptional guide, giving us to know what is best in Arouca. We tried cano-rafting because we were no longer in rafting season, so we will definitely return! The whole experience was spectacular, from scheduling, to accompanying during the activity, impeccable equipment, everything excellent!

It was a spectacular and fun morning to experience rafting in the family. The flow was not very large but still gave to feel adrenaline on the route, which was complemented with stops for dives and jumps in the water. Pedro is a guide 5*, for the sympathy, for the safety care, for all the games and the will he has with the children (including those who are always asking questions!) and above all for the calm he transmits, it is even noticeable that he likes that everyone has the best possible experience. It was the second time we did activities with Just Come and in the end there is always the desire to come back!

We loved this experience with Pedro. Although the flow in the summer dropped, it was super fun. We were 5 adults and two children - one of 7 and another of 9 years old. We always feel safe and Pedro complements the canoe ride with jumps to the water and fun moments.

Super careful guide, attentive, fix and giant “help”! Level of exceptional professionalism and with a fabulous response capacity (we called at 10h is at 15h30m the same day we were in the river! ). Good permanent mood, dream spots and tremendous scarf jumps. Pedro will definitely return to perform more descents and other of the countless experiences that Just Come has!!!
