Excellent trip with Ramone. He took us to all the highlights of Porto and some of the quieter areas too. Ramone was an excellent guide and looked after both of us very well . Strongly recommend if staying in Porto.

Starting point
The picturesque Miragaia district is known for its cobbled streets lined with villas and small restaurants serving typical Portuguese dishes.
Its construction implied the construction of the huge platform of the pier where the Customs is based and which replaced the old Miragaia beach. This set of modifications is considered by many to be one of the most profound urban and landscape changes of the city of Porto in the 19th century.
The Porto Tram Museum (Museu do Carro Eléctrico) was inaugurated in 1992 and is installed in a former thermoelectric power station next to the River Douro in Massarelos, it exhibits material related to the history of trams in Porto.
Arrábida Bridge is an arched bridge over the Douro River that connects Porto (by Arrábida area) to Vila Nova de Gaia (by Candal node), in Portugal. At the time of its construction in 1963, the bridge had the largest reinforced concrete arch of any bridge in the world.
The place owes its name to a time when there existed for many fountains that brought the people fetch water with their pitchers. Always an area of riverside fishermen, still maintains the tradition of harbor for shelter small boats and storage of fishing gear, which harmonize with the beautiful riverside landscape, where you can see the Afurada and Cabedelo, on the other side, between with the long run from the Douro to the mouth.
The Jardim do Passeio Alegre is a garden in the parish of Foz do Douro in Porto, Portugal. The area of Passeio Alegre is classified as a Property of Public Interest. The garden has in its surroundings or near several monuments and heritage classified
São João Baptista da Foz Fortress, also known as São João da Foz Castle, is located in the parish of Foz do Douro. It stands in a dominant position on the Douro river bar, providing river access to the city of Porto.
Felgueiras Lighthouse on the right bank of the Douro River, is a Portuguese lighthouse located at the tip of the pier of the same name, in the parish of Foz do Douro.
In one of the noble areas of the city of Porto, Praia da Foz is a designation that covers the set formed by the beaches of Ourigo, Ingleses and Luz.
Built in the 17th century to protect the coast from the pirates of North Africa, it is located on a cheese-shaped rocky hill, thus obtaining the name Castelo do Queijo (Cheese Castle).
The Praia de Matosinhos is the largest beach with an easy access from central Porto. The beach offers a wide expanse of golden sands and waves that are suitable for surfing,
Porto City Park, designed by landscape architect Sidónio Pardal, is the largest urban park in the country, covering a total of 83 hectares and about 10 km of paths. The park is a sophisticated architectural landscape, with lakes, flora and fauna, integrated into the city fabric.
Pasteleira Urban Park is a public park located in the parish of Lordelo do Ouro. It extends over an extensive area of forest, divided into two plots by Afonso de Paiva Street, connected by three wooden pontoons.
Small garden space that is almost at the mouth of the Douro River. It offers magnificent views of the river and it stands out in the tall black poplars, asi.
The real name of this bridge is Luiz I and not, as it is popularly called, D. Luís I. A sentimental question of the people of Porto seems to be the origin of the name by which it is commonly known. Regardless of the name, it is an ex-libris of the city and has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996.
Located right in the historic center of Porto, Praça da Ribeira, next to the quay with the same name, is one of the oldest squares in the city, already mentioned in royal letters in 1389. It was in this area of Ribeira and in its commercial connection with the Douro River that the city began its frank development and turned to the river. This led to the infamous Ponte das Barcas, where in 1809 more than 4,000 people died during an onslaught of French troops. Today a bronze bas-relief attests to this moment.

A professional and friendly bike shop. The tour was the highlight of our visit to Porto. A great way to get out of the city and see some neighborhoods and beaches. Miguel was our guide and was a wealth of information and a very lovely person to spend the morning with. The bikes were high quality and very comfortable. Highly recommended.
Loved the bikes. Our guide was very good. Not for out of shape people.
A fantastic 3 hours perfectly hosted and educated by our guide Bernardo. The bikes are excellent to manage the hilly streets.
Great knowledgeable tour guide.
David was great. Had a deep knowledge of history and was a fun guide. Well paced and felt safe with him leading on our Ebike’s.
What a great way to see Porto’s coastline. It was a little too cold for beach weather so this was a great alternative. Our guides we were informative and allowed us to set the pace. Plus, Biclas y Triclas tries to make every tour private, even if that isn’t what you booked.
Great people to deal with, polite, charming and knowledgeable Ade sure bikes fitted proper with correct helmet for each person, drinks and apples during very informative guided tours
We love a bike tour to see a city and Biclas y Triclas did not disappoint! Our guide, Zachary was amazing. He was super fun and very knowledgeable. The bikes were very comfortable and well maintained. We booked a small group tour, but to our surprise, Biclas y Triclas tries to make each tour private so that they can tailor the ride to you. Such a great bonus. It wasn’t beach season during our trip (too cold) and this tour was a great way to experience the coast and the sea while learning a lot about Porto and Portugal. Book this tour, you will not regret it!
Pedro was the nicest tour guide ever. We learned a lot about the history of the city and how the city has changed. Was a great experience.
This 17 mile bike tour was just what we were looking for. I loved the mini climbs and cutting through the parks. TIP- before starting the ride play with the gears for your level.
Fun and easy ride around Porto. Knowledgeable guide provides information and insights into Porto past and present. Nice mix of old and new. City streets, bike paths and parks.
Biked along the river to the beach area. Then through a city park. There was only one moderate hill. Javier had great information to pass along. It’s a wonderful way to spend 3 hours in Porto!
Javier is an excellent guide and his passion for Porto is apparent in this tour. Easy ride along the water to the lighthouse, up the beach with a stop for refreshments before heading back through one of the many beautiful parks.
This is a wonderful bike tour. It was fun and we learned a lot about areas of Porto we wouldn’t have otherwise seen. I highly recommend booking if you are in good shape and enjoy cycling.
Terrific bike tour from the harbor to the Atlantic ocean. Pedro was a fun, enthusiastic and knowledgable guide. We loved seeing more of the city and learning a bit of history along the way.
Great guide, made stops along the way to highlight the history, nice pace, easy ride. Locals did not appreciate us biking on the paths!
Family of four tour Porto - along river/beach, through parks and cycle tracks. 3 hours on electric bikes. Great guide who was friendly and informative about local history and culture. Paced well with break at beach cafe. Definitely recommend.
Miquel is very enthousiastic and gives good info. Especially the McDonalds story. Also has and shares useful general info about nice places in Porto.
Pedro was a great guide and was very knowledgeable and gave us insight of Portugal during our ride. The bikes were very easy to ride and had great power so even after our 3 hour ride, we were not tired. Would recommend
We had an e-bike small group tour from Porto, along the river to the coast and back. Probably one of the highlights of our trip so far. Flavio our guide was great, he provided great history and background at each stop, assured we rode at a comfortable pace and made the tour memorable.
Aware! Never go there. The bile habe a deffect: the wheel is too big and your feet get stucked when biking. Easy to have an accident. When we askwd to change the bikes to answer was no for no reason as they had like 30 other bikes with a regular wheel. We had to call the police as they wanted to keep our money with no solution. Stay away from them. You habe plenty of options in Porto much better than this irresponsible company.
Pedro was our guide. It was only my wife and I since it was low season at the beginning of December. Pedro was a great guy. He is very passionate about the city of Porto. He told us many different stories about Porto. We went along the river and saw all the sites down to Matasihos. Bike were easy to ride
We just got back from an amazing 3.5 hours bike tour, led by PEDRO. Really enjoyed his interesting stories about the city and the historical figures. He tells his stories very passionately. Visiting a city is so much more memorable when you can remember some interesting stories and facts from the visit. I highly recommend this tour and Pedro was fantastic!
We started off excited for our first e-bike tour through Porto. Upon arriving, were greeted warmly and shown to our bikes. Our guide, Helio introduced himself and asked our names. It was a small group- only 4 adults including myself and my husband. The other couple was friendly and interested in learning more about Porto, as were we. We have been on several e-bike tours in other cities such as Montreal, Lisbon, Auckland and have always enjoyed them. Sometimes the weather is not ideal, the bikes may not function perfectly, or there are others in the group who are unsafe. But I have NEVER had a tour guide who was completely uninformed, patronizing, easily angered, and had little regard for our experience/safety/curiosity. From the start he told us he does not talk about himself and not to ask him any personal questions. Though somewhat odd for a tour guide it is understandable. . When he stopped he asked us if there anything we would like to know. If we asked any basic questions about the local housing, the economy, the food, the River, the schools- he acted visibly annoyed. Mostly he just shrugged his shoulders and said “I don’t know”. When one of the other people attempted to answer my question, he growled “don’t ask me questions you already know the answer to”. It made all of us extremely uncomfortable and afraid to speak. The scenery was beautiful and the bikes were in good condition.
We had a great time in spite of some rain. Our guide was great and he was very responsive to all of us. He was very knowledgeable & engaging which made the afternoon pleasant & informative.
We had a wonderful ride along the river and through some amazing parks and pathways. Perhaps because of the rainy weather, there was just the two of us with Philip our guide. This tour was informative and interesting plus once the cloud lifted (and it did eventually) we saw a part of Porto that was stunning.
We were guided by Helio who was very knowledgeable with a dry sense of humour. We are still not sure whether everything he told us was true but was great fun. Definitely recommend the tour which gave a brief view of the historic centre but concentrated on the route along the river estuary, onto Matosinhos and back through some lovely parks.
This Porto tour was super, ebikes are a great way to see the waterfront! Our guide was very informative and friendly! The bikes were really nice. I would totally recommend this tour.
The experience of visiting the main tourist spots in Porto on an e-bike was very interesting. I believe it's always worthwhile to explore a place on foot or by bike. We explored the main attractions, but the rating was slightly affected because the guide seemed unmotivated, was late to start the tour, was very concerned about the end time, and provided little information about the sites we visited. Personally, I would repeat the tour again, but with a different guide.
Helio was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and good fun and brought us on a wonderful route out to the coast
Our guide was very friendly and fun The bike were excellent and the location and ride was perfect Thank again
It was such a great way to see a different side of Porto. Also our children of 19-21 loved it. The guide was very fun and had many stories to tell. It was relaxing and the bikes were very good. The breeze was perfect but make sure you put sunscreen in the summer. Porto is up and coming but there’s a lot of construction going on, so this bike tour is perfect to get you out of all the noise and shows lots of different neighborhoods and parks.
Edourdo was our guide and he was full of great knowledge..He showed us all over the city of Porto and places you would never know existed. He was really pleasant and friendly and made our day. This is a great value trip and a lovely way to spend your time in Porto.Well recommended
We booked 3h bike tour in Porto, super guidance, frequent stops for explanations, well organised, fast bike replacement
We had an incredible experience on our private bike tour in Porto. It's difficult to find something that a 6 year old boy, 12 year old girl, and a grandma can each equally enjoy, but this fit the bill. It was a lovely tour of the Douro River down to the beach of the Atlantic Ocean. The stops along the way were informative and our guide did an exceptional job of knowing when my grandson had heard enough and moved us along. There was plenty of time for self initiated stops for the kids to play on different playgrounds. The pastry shop we stopped at was spot on in delivering a delicious custard tart. I would recommend this to for all ages. It was wonderful.
Filipe was an amazing tour guide on our 3 hour bike ride in Porto. He is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly! We enjoyed chatting to him while he cycled through some histrionic and beautiful sites. We have done bike tours in other cities in Europe and Filipe was the best host we have got so far! Highly recommend.
This tour was amazing! We ended up having a private tour with Eduardo who even went back to the shop to get us rain capes because the it was raining hard. The pace and the route were good. We got to see places we probably would not have on our own. Highly recommend!
Helios gave us a great insight into the history of Porto and lovely route round. Bikes in good condition and safe. Even stopped for a custard!
Felipe was the best tour guide we could have asked for to start porto trip! He was super friendly and had alot of information to share!
Our young guide (Philippe) was very informative and had a great knowledge of Porto and Portuguese culture. He was very interesting and made the tour fun. Would recommend the electric assist bikes as it’s quite hilly and makes the cycling easier and more enjoyable. We saw a lot in the three hours. Exactly right.
Our tour guide Artur was fabulous and so informative of all the sights of Porto. We had such a lovely morning and the trip was in no way rushed and we got to stop for pastel de nata and some drinks en route and the scenery was breathtaking. We got to stop for plenty of photos. This is definitely worth the money and Artur is a hard working guide trying to make a good life for his family he is definitely a grafter and worth getting him as your guide.
We had a lovely morning tour with Philippe. The electric bikes worked seamlessly, the staff at the shop were friendly and efficient and our tour guide Philippe was knowledgeable on the city, history and happy to share stories about the culture and language. Despite Porto being hilly, we took a tour down the river, to the coat and port so it wasn’t hard cycling although there were other options to choose from. We’d happily recommend to anyone wanting to experience real life in the city.
Fun bike rides on 3 different parts of Istanbul on two continents, separated by ferry rides with great views. Mustafa was very knowledgeable and friendly. The snack and lunch breaks were great! The coastal rides were the best part, a nice change-of-pace from busy touristy places.
Really fun cycle ride out to the coast with Philipo . Enthusiasm of our guide added to the experience.
This was a fun experience even though it rained for much of the time! Our guide was helpful and friendly! Highly recommend!
The route past the Foz, where the Duoro meets the Atlantic, was beautiful and the ride along the coast then through the city park was relaxing and gorgeous. Our guide, Sofia, had packed apples and water for us. She was patient and answered all our questions.
Great experience while exploring porto. Our guide Artur gave us some really interesting insights in the history of Porto. I highly recommend him!
This tour is a beautiful loop along the river and coastline of Porto and then on the way back, you wind your way through a gorgeous park. Philippe stops along the way to give you interesting facts and information about Porto and Portugal.
Our guide Arthur took us through several unique and interesting areas of Porto while giving an overview of the history. He was always cognizant of where the group was and kept the group at a pace that was comfortable for all participants
