Absolutely loved it! Such talented musicians and the singer’s voice was beautiful and powerful. A lovely host got us all seated with a round or two of a Port wine tasting to set the tone. And the artists gave us a brief history of Fado music that was interesting and perfectly timed. 10/10

This was a truly special experience for our family. The venue was very easy to find. You have a beautiful view outside to take photos before and after the show. The musicians and the singer were incredibly talented and mesmerizing. The length of the show was just right. The atmosphere was intimate and felt like we were transported to a different world. Even our teenage kids enjoyed it very much. The glass of port was icing on the cake. There is nothing negative I can say about the experience.

The guitars started and I could instantly tell I was in for a special treat. The heart of the singer reached everyone regardless of the language barrier. An hour I will never forget. Thank you!!

A truly special and intimate Fado show set in a wine cellar in Porto. The atmosphere was warm and authentic, and the musicians were incredibly passionate. you could really feel the emotion in every song. A wonderful, immersive way to experience this important part of Portuguese culture. Highly recommended for anyone looking for something genuine and memorable.

Excellent musicians, lovely intimate setting, be prepared for a bit of audience involvement too! Also good to be given a little background to Fado music. And it didn't feel too touristy - several local people were in the audience when we went. Definitely recommend.

A very historic and intimate setting that helped us get in the mood for a memorable and relaxing fado performance. Glad we went. We don't have anything like this in Canada. It is always a benefit when you get to experience the heart of another culture.

We arrived a little early and were able to enjoy a beautiful outdoor river view before entering into the intimate concert setting. The guitar players and singer were excellent and there was an intermission in which a staff member taught a bit about the history of Portuguese Fado. The glass of port was tasty!

Beautiful, soulful music heartwarming to listen to. The venue was intimate, with great acoustics. Would highly recommend this, they spoke multiple languages so everyone can understand.

My mother and I attended this show during our September 2025 trip to Porto. The music was beautiful, and the location is absolutely stunning. I really enjoyed that the host for the show gave us a bit of history and background on the tradition of fado in between the songs. Overall, I would happily come back for another show during my next trip to Porto.

We saw this performance two nights ago. The venue is very traditional with good acoustics. All three performers were very good but the musician playing the Portuguese guitar was simply outstanding. I can't recommend this venue highly enough.

An enchanting evening of music (and Port). Claudia brought goosebumps with nearly every song, and both Miguels brought the music alive with their guitars.

As a solo traveler I wouldn’t recommend this place. The hostess wanted to put me in the very back of the place even though there was space for me in the middle, she said “a couple might be coming and they have a preference because they are a couple”. I think the place is first come, first serve, so it just didn’t make sense to me why she was prioritizing a couple instead of me since I arrived first. The table in the very back was big enough to sit 4 people if necessary. In the end a couple arrived after me and sure enough she gave them the preference. I was about to leave and I asked for a refund but the person who I think is the manager and also the musician, told me to sit next to him while he was playing. I couldn’t see anything because I was facing the audience. Anyways, I didn’t feel good about it. If I were the manager I’d have apologized and give the client the money back.

What a incredible experience. So glad I choose this experience. The location in the old wine cellar added to the event. Hosts were absolutely fantastic and kept our glasses topped up. Both the singer and the two guitars players were fantastic. The music was beautiful and we even got to join in which was fun. It was really interesting to hear about the history of the music and the songs too. Cannot recommend this enough

A great experience - learned about the 2 types of fado and experienced Lisbon Fado. The musicians were super talented and the singer had the most powerful voice. The ambiance of the place added to the experience. One warning for those who aren’t able bodied - descending steep stairs is required.

Do not miss a Fado performance while you are in Porto. I was taken by the performance. The musician’s adept guitar work was impressive and the vocalist’s singing was passionate. I appreciated the information they shared about Fado. The wine cave was perfect for this genre of music, however, tight with the number of patrons in the space. Highly Recommend!

We loved the music and atmosphere. Such a delightful performance by Ana Ferreira and Giuseppe D Mello (I hope I have their names right and I’m sorry I can’t recall the name of the other guitarist who was amazing too! Such a lovely way to end the day. No need to understand the language - the feelings and the emotions had such an impact. Well hosted too.

This experience is an absolute must visit. The setting was in a cellar which added to the authenticity. . The musicians and singers were so talented and you could tell how much they love what they do. They described the history & art of Fado, as well as invited the group to participate in certain songs.

Excellent show!!! Can't miss it, even if you don't like fado, it is definitely worth. Musicians are excellent, the venue is unique, cozy, awesome. I would suggest expanding to 2 hours, with some tapas and more wine.

Great atmosphere, amazing trio, tasty wine, authentic music. We loved not only getting exposed to Portugese music but also receiving information about tradition and history. the experience was awesome! Highly recommend!

A truly magical musical evening with three top-class musicians. A classical guitarist, a Portuguese guitarist and a singer treated us to a wonderful performance of different kinds of Fado music, explaining to us at the beginning of the show and during the interval a little about the history and origins of the genre. This was a really high quality musical performance in every respect.

The Fado performance with Ana, Manuel and Diogo was ourstanding. Loved the atmospehere at A Casa do Fado, and we were mesmerised throughout. Mostly tourists, but not "touristic". We learned a lot about Fado.

This fado was recommended to us by our Hotel and i am glad we went. There were only about 20 people. It lasted an hour and included a glass of port as well as an explanation of the origins of fado. well worth it!

What a fado performance! The acoustics were amazing in this old cellar and it sounded superb. The music was amazing. Different styles of Fado were performed and explained in perfect English and French.

The musicians were truly amazing; perhaps the best we have seen in Portugal. The setting is an intimate small cave-like room and you get a small glass of port to enjoy during this 1 hours show. This was a great way to experience Fado without needing to take up a whole night. Highly recommended!

A very good time spent, from the welcome to the moment with the musicians and the beautiful singer, an incredible experience, there is a time to tell us the story and there is also interaction. The audience participates to the rhythm of a few songs. The venue is unusual, we highly recommend the Fado show.

A very nice experience, the two musicians charmed us by their interpretation before entering our singer of Fado. They alternated so we never tired of hearing them. We are received with a well filled port glass.
