Viktor provided super interesting insights into Portuguese culture and the history of the Douro Valley. He exuded friendly energy throughout the trip. The 1 hour each way trip was comfortable and the vineyards were beautiful in their fall colors. Our boat ride was enjoyable, and our lunch was great.
It was a friendly small group. Guides were friendly and professional. Great driver. Half day tour with one winery was a perfect fit and still 7 hours!

Wonderful day in Douro Valley. The small group setting made it feel intimate and not overwhelming. Our guide Tiago was the best! Only negative was the van itself...we were the last to be picked up because Viator sent us to a different location than the rest of the group so we were in the front seats of the van squeezed pretty tight.
Vent on a boat tour with 2 tastings and lunch. We had the best tourguide - Vitor, who was just so informative and had a lot of knowledge about everything. We would definitely use Viator again
The pick up was poor as one participant couldn't find the location. The coach was very cramped and full as 4 other travellers had been added as their trip was cancelled the day before. Our guide was superb informative, friendly and fun 10/10. The trip overall was great.
Excellent wines and lunch was delicious. Great day out in the Duoro valley. River cruise was good and the audio guide on the boat was an added bonus. Boat has a bar on board but was cash only. There was an ATM at the harbour but it wasn't working, so we couldn't get a drink on board. Remember your own bottle of water from the bus if you don't want to pay for a drink on board the boat trip!
Our Douro Valley wine tour was truly one of the highlights of our trip, and Pedro made the experience extra special. He was warm, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and professional from start to finish. He made everyone feel completely at ease and shared so many thoughtful local recommendations and tips that helped us enjoy not only the tour, but the rest of our time in Porto as well. It was a little confusing when meeting at Igreja da Lapa; there were multiple other large tour groups meeting there as well at the same time so it was really chaotic. I messaged for clarification and got a quick and clear response back to who to look for and to patiently wait for the other large groups to leave. The wineries were beautiful, especially the first one we went to Solar dos Dragos. Guide was excellent and walked through the wines and pairing with olive oil, cheese, and honey to fully appreciate it. Marco gave us even more wines on the river cruise which wasn't exactly what I expected but he was a pro steering the boat, pouring wine, and sharing his local perspective all at the same time while enjoying the gorgeous views! When he asks if you want a hat for the ride, take the hat! This tour was definitely a highlight of the trip! Felt bad our tour group was rather a quiet low energy bunch because our guide Tiago was clearly trying to engage everyone.

Vino (Vito :) our tour guide was great! Very nice and full of great information about the region and variations of Port Wine. The vineyards we visited were amazing. Our driver was safe and very careful as we traveled to the top of the hill's. Highlight of our trip.
We really enjoyed the tour and the wineries. Sara (our guide) was engaging and informative. The river cruise was nice but very formulaic. We more enjoyed the wineries and the traveling group. We understand it was a larger tour that usual so we had a mini bus, which was clean and comfortable. There was both karaoke and snoozing on the ride back!
It was a great experience. It was very interesting to learn the history of the valley and to see the amazing views. Our guide Sara was incredible, she made the trip unbelievable. She is obviously very proud of the region and fully enjoys telling the stories and teaching us about the history. When you have a guide that invested, it makes the trip so much better. I thought the 2 wineries were a great contrast. The first was very informative of the wine making process, and the second was an incredible lunch experience and premium port. The boat ride was great as well, it showed amazing views, without being too long. I have already told a friend who is traveling here soon to book a trip, and will tell others. Thank you!
Meeting point was not clearly defined. Multiple tours leaving at same time. Other companies sent emails with the guides name. We did not get this email. Would have appreciated signage with company name. Both wineries were good. Wines and ports were excellent. Lunch was sparse but nice location. River Cruise was very good. Would have appreciated bottled water and light tapas, e.g. Bread and olives with the wines.
An excellent tour including a guide who provided facts about the region and the wines, many photo opportunities, a cruise with 2 glasses of wine, and a delicious lunch in an old winery with more wines and port to try. I highly recommend visiting the Douro Valley with this tour.

Pickup spot was easy to get to. Tour included multiple stops that allowed you to appreciate the landscape and culture behind the wine. Generous tasting potions as well as a nice lunch. Highly recommend if you have time in Porto

It was a great experience without a single glitch. Every part of the trip, drive, boat trip, 2 wineries with wine tasting, sumptuous lunch (more like a full dinner) with more wine has been super good quality, on time and great service. Our guide, Pedro, has been knowledgeable, courteous, entertaining and managed to move things swimmingly on time. Thank you very much for the outstanding day.
Host was very good. Driver was good. 2 tasting vineyards were decent. Boat trip was scenic. only negative was the food at lunch could have made more effort. Starter was a bit of lettuce and a slice of tomato. Main was just the main dish on half the plate with no sides. Overall a lovely day out

Highly recommend! One of the best wine tours we’ve done. The Douro Valley is stunning and wineries and their wine, particularly their Ports amazing. So many varied wines and port to try from various wineries. The river cruise and the Lunch was amazing too. Best of all was our tour guide Giuliana, so knowledgeable and welcoming and funny. She was so passionate about her region, wine and culture!! We had a great small group that clicked so was a great day!!! A must tour to take!!
This tour in theory was good value for the money, but due to a triathlon in the Douro valley we had a huge detour. We were in the car for 4 hours in the morning and only went to one winery. It was also somewhat hard to find the pickup spot, everyone on the tour got to the right spot by asking other tour company guides until our guide showed up. It was frustrating that the company didn’t research the annual triathlon ahead of time to account for the detour, and they gave us extremely minimal information while we were stuck in the van.
The Douro Valley is beautiful and our guide, Vitor, was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the area and the wine making process. We were with a lovely group people and had a fun day. The lunch was excellent and the boat ride was very relaxing.

Great small group visit to Douro Valley led by Vitor our tour guide. We really enjoyed learning a lot of different aspects of the area so popular for producing Port wine. The history of the production of the wine in the valley is very interesting. The 2 wineries were very accommodating and the lunch was good! Thank you!
The pick up point was at Lapa Church. With over 100 people descending all at the same time, all looking for different tour companies, it was a bit confusing. Ideally a message the day before, telling us our tour guide name and bus description would've been helpful. Our guide Thiago was absolutely fantastic. He was very charismatic, knowledgeable and fun and made our tour very interesting. The port on the river cruise was plenty, and the guide on the boat was very friendly and informative. Lunch was a 3 course meal, this was OK, but could've been better, though the wine was plentiful and kept on flowing. The port tasting at the winery was fantastic. We had a great group of people, in total 19. We had lots of laughs and lots of singing. Great tour.
A wonderful tour with João Silva whose commentary was audible even in back seat of minivan. Very good stops including a snack of wine, local cheese and delicious ham, and a delicious cod lunch with port tasting at an old estate. The Douro Valley is beautiful and hilly. If you get carsick easily, wear your scopolamine patch!
We really enjoyed our trip to the Douro valley, it is so beautiful! Our guide was great, he gave us some history of the location and was very knowledgeable about the local wines! We enjoyed the wine tasting and the boat ride. Lunch at the winery was great. All in all it was a great way to spend our day and see the region.

We had an absolutely amazing experience touring the beautiful Douro Valley, and Andre made the day truly unforgettable! From the beginning, he was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and so much fun to be around. Andre shared so much interesting information about the Douro Valley, the vineyards, the wines, and Portuguese culture. He made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire day, and you could tell he genuinely wanted us to have a wonderful experience. The scenery was breathtaking, the vineyards were beautiful, and the wine was fantastic—but having Andre as our guide made the experience even more special. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal! If you’re visiting the Douro Valley, I highly recommend this tour and especially Andre. The boat ride down the Douro River was lovely and the lunch was amazing, in such a magical location. Lucas was so filled with knowledge and funny too! We met lots of lovely people on our tour and the 6 of us all agreed it was highlight of our trip! Highly recommend!
The whole trip was exceptional. The lunch provided was excellent at the first vineyard and the tastings were fun and informational. Coach trip was very comfortable and tour guide knowledgeable and very friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed this trip and would definitely recommend e fun tours. Maybe the meeting place could be a little less chaotic but it worked out good in the end. Too many groups and no signs to say who we were to wait for- minor issue that could be improved on
Better organize the bus transportation so so travelers know which group they're in and which bus to get on. Like some drivers did, approach people at the meeting point and ask them which tour they're taking so to advise them who/which is their driver /bus. Beside that, the experience was excellent. the communication was great with the Sagrada Familia tour. Keeping us informed via text/Call/WhatsApp about the driver's arrival was well appreciated. The meet up was a bit chaotic, with multiple tour guides and companies trying to find their people. Once we got going. It was fun! Viktor and Alex did a great job! The boat trip and the first tasting were highlights. The lunch was fine but not outstanding. My only suggestion is that the tour company (EFun) wash the van windows so tourists can see the beautiful scenery.
We enjoyed this experience—our travel guide, Vitor, was very knowledgeable but at the same time fun and funny. The trip took us to two vineyards for tasing of both table wine and Porto. The lunch was delicious—we had the cod and unlimited red and white wine, and those who had this lunch raved about it. I didn’t get the best feedback about the other offerings. Altogether the trip was fun and I would recommend it.
Igor was a great guide! He was very energetic and entertaining. Kept the travel part of the tour engaging and fun. Sing-a-longs were soooo great! The one major improvement would be the food at lunch, very blah. A great time nonetheless the less. Thank you.

Rita, the tour guide was outstanding. She was funny, informational, spoke all day in 2 languages and made us feel at home. There are curvy roads, stairs and hills to climb but we could go at our own pace.
