Douro Private Tour With Wine Cruise And Viewpoint Half Day

We had a brilliant half day trip with tour guide Diogo and driver Manuel. Diogo was very knowledgeable, providing lots of interesting information along the way in excellent English. The trip was nicely paced with coffee/toilet stops at the right points. The winery visit was interesting and we tried some delicious wine. Christina the guide at the winery was brilliant too. The boat trip was good and it was lovely to see the scenery around the river. We were a small group which were lovely and friendly from all around the world. We also stopped off at a picturesque viewpoint on the way back for great photo opportunity. It's a great trip for sightseeing but without losing too much of the day. Thanks for a great trip, Diego & Manuel.

Living Tours was very accommodating with our schedule. Jose, our driver and guide was punctual, friendly and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the day with him. The wine tasting with with Andre was fantastic. We highly recommend Jose and this experience.

Great experience, views are stunning and wine tour was very interesting. Only downside is long bus journey which is unavoidable.

Our family of 4 went on a half day tour of Duoro valley, that included a tour of a winery followed by a river cruise. The guide, Mr. Mario and driver, Mr. Gabriel were fantastic. They drove us in good time, and kept us engaged with highly informative discussions, small talk, and some jokes. The initial concern about lacking lunch on the tour was quickly allayed by the stops they made to Duoro Valley and on the return. We got to see the best of Duoro Vally on this abbreviated tour and were very pleased with the overall experience.

A wonderful private half day tour with Henk to Duoro Valley. Henk was an amazing guide and was very chatty,friendly and went out of the way to make us feel comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

Andre is a brilliant driver, very safe and professional. Slimmy is a great guide, full of facts and lots of historical knowledge, really made the trip! We enjoyed the boat trip, was very scenic and relaxing! The wine tour was gorgeous as well. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing tour + staff. Our tour expert Cuber was funny and our driver Rui was great. There were staff who checked us in/met us when we arrived 30 minutes early at the meet up point. Meet up point was easy to locate. The tour started promptly. There was a mishap with the bus as it stopped working 5 mins into the journey but they did manage to sort it out in the next 15 mins and got a replacement bus for us. Well worth it for its price as it is the cheapest half day option when I booked but didn’t feel cheap at all. The tour ran a bit longer than expected so try not to pack your day with activities and accept that things won’t always go as planned. Otherwise we really enjoyed this tour and looking forward to tour with living tours again.

Guide Cuber and driver Maykel were just fabulous. They made the whole trip so fun. Obviously the sites were amazingly stunning. Cuber's telling of the history along the way was also very enlightening. Recommend this tour highly!!!

We had such a fun time on our tour. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide and bus driver. Cuber was so attentive. We brought our baby on the tour and he was great about checking in and making sure the music on the bus wasn’t too loud. Cuber was very entertaining and even sang to us in Portuguese. He went above and beyond. I’m so happy he was our guide. Joe was a great driver and we felt safe in his hands. Cuber and Joe deserve a raise.

Our guides were Cuber and Franco and they were amazing! Went as a group of 3 college students and it was perfect for us. This city is so beautiful and the wine was delicious! Would do again in a heartbeat!

I went on the half day trip to the Kopke Port tasting, boat tour on the river in the douro valley and as last the viewing point over the whole valley. Our driver Novais was really great, they played a theme song (space mountain song and pirates of the Caribbean) whenever there was a challenge for him (driving wise). Also our tour guide Pedro Costa made the tour feel like it was a family trip. He is very careful and he always makes sure you are alright. His tips for which wines to buy are a very good bonus! They are a good duo and our day was amazing. 5 stars!
