We loved our afternoon with Boating Porto! Jonas and Marcel were incredibly friendly and hospitable. We learned so much about Porto and the wines we tasted, and loved the gorgeous fall/winter scenery! We would highly recommend a river cruise with Boating Porto!!

We had a relaxing 2 hours on the Douro river sampling local Portuguese wines and Port. Our guides Maria & Marcelo were very knowledgeable and super friendly. As there were only 5 passengers it felt like a very personal and relaxing experience. Would highly recommend.

A charming boat ride with the promised 6 bridges and very nice wines, including 2 ports, with our glasses freely refilled. The snacks were tasty and appropriate to the wine tasting. Very relaxing after being on our feet all day. My only quibble was that the marina was outside the main part of town, we Ubered.

It was a great to see Porto from the water away from the crowd while sipping on some fine wines. I will definitely recommend this specific boat tour to my friends.

Jonas and Marcelo were excellent! There was an issue with our booking and Jonas quickly made arrangements for us to get on the next trip. Marcelo explained all the wines and how the snacks paired with the wines. He also provided excellent history on Porto and Gaia. We also met great people on the trip. Highly recommend this adventure!

The best boat trip we have ever been on. It was to celebrate our silver wedding and it proved very fitting. Only 6 people on board, so it was intimate. The two guys running the trip were friendly, helpful and informative and the snacks and wine were plentiful. 2 hours was a nice duration, as it wasn't rushed at all. Highly recommended.

Lovely experience. It definitely helped that the weather was fantastic but the two staff members (Maria and Marcelo, I think) were so good, informative and friendly, it helped make the trip a memorable event. We were lucky enough to share the trip with a group of Canadian bikers, who were great company.

We had a fantastic morning. Ricardo moved us to a bigger boat because the weather was a bit rainy. He was very knowledgeable and welcoming. Thoroughly recommend! (Wine and Port was great as well).

Jonas, our guide was wonderful very personable, knowledgeable, and friendly. Wine was more than I expected and very good. The green wine was my favorite but the ports were good too !!! So personal i felt a friend was taking me out on his boat!!!

This was a very enjoyable and relaxing boat cruise on the Douro River which included 3 very, tasty wines/port wines. Our guides were very friendly and provided interesting facts and information about Porto. Our boat was upgraded from what we were expecting which allowed us to sit up front in the open. Boat was very clean and nicely maintained. I would highly recommend this excursion and found it good value for the cost.

A perfect way to spend the afternoon. Our guides (Harry and Maria) made easy conversation with the small group and gave us all a history lesson of Porto, all while enjoying the wine and snacks. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our 2hr boat tour with port wine and snacks, really relaxed experience with excellent guides. We booked the 5.15pm tour and it was a great way to spend the evening. Generous with the port tasting too! 🍷

The marina is a bit out of the way and is about a 35 minute walk from the Luís Bridge. Once there it’s a bit confusing where to go, but walk straight down to the marina side next to a bar and the gate that takes you to the wharf side. Be aware that there are simultaneous boat trips going on which is a bit confusing at first. Once on the boat the guides and captain were very obliging and were more than happy to share information on Porto etc. Great views of Porto and its bridges would recommend

Great guided boat tour with awesome guides!

I really enjoyed this boat trip in Porto, which was recommended by a local. From the moment we got on the boat, I was impressed by the beautiful and picturesque views of the city and the river. The boat was clean, comfortable and well-maintained, which made the experience even better. I was also pleasantly surprised by the fee, as I thought it was very reasonable for such a great experience. We didn’t have to wait in a queue, which made everything feel relaxed and easy. Overall, it was a fantastic way to explore Porto from a different perspective, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

River Cruise from Porto almost to the ocean with tasting of three different local wines (1x Vinho Verde, 1x white port, 1x red port) and a well-paired snack selection. Our small group enjoyed the comfortable boat a lot. Both guides spoke very good English, explained a bit about the city history and wines and gave lots of recommendations where to go and eat in Porto. Would definitely recommend!

This was an absolutely wonderful boat tour that was loved by everyone from my 3 year old son to my parents in their 70s. Maria and the captain were extremely knowledgeable about the area and provided interesting facts about the bridges, Porto, and Gaia. The local wines and snacks were delicious. This was a highlight of our time in Porto!

Had the best tour We were asked to move our tour and we couldn't do it due to travel plans We ended up on the tour with 2 other couples and had the best time Our tour guide was amazing The vinho Verde and port wines were delicious Will recommend to others

Had an absolutely wonderful day with Helena our guide and Americo, our amazing driver who made us feel safe on some very interesting roads..Helena is very knowledgable about the Douro region and added all sorts of stories on the way. A trip not to miss if you are in the area and looking for some spectacular scenery

We recently went on the small boat ride on te Duoro for an evening cruise. It was my wife, her sister and husband with me. I had paid extra for it just to be us, but there were a couple of other people who joined us. Other wise it was a nice trip and the people taking care of us on the boat were wonderful.

Maria and the captain were perfect hosts and the ride was lovely. The port was wonderful too - both white and red.. We had 6 of us so we booked the private tour which was same amount as 6 tickets on a group tour. They played great music for us and we all had a really fun time!

Lovely boat, very comfortable (not the one in the photo, it was better!). Said max was 8 people, but there were 10 ( maybe because it was a bigger boat?). Really should show the boat and keep to using it. Great guide, plenty of wine to taste. Tour started at 12:45, but there was no one there to greet us. So we all milled about wondering what went wrong. Really should have a person there BEFORE the start time, not 5-10 minutes later.

Outstanding knowledge was imparted to the small group by the two smart boatsmen. Both are great at what they do, care about their customers and made the cruise a great excursion. The wine/port was also excellent and most importantly, we felt in good hands while on the water at all times.

This tour had only 10 guests and was an ideal way of seeing the Douro local to Porto. The guide was knowledgeable and very attentive (can’t recall the young ladies name). We had a tasting of one white wine and two Ports, red & white accompanied by snacks. The trip lasted two hours and reached the mouth of the Douro. We felt having a small party was more enjoyable.

What a wonderful relaxing scenic afternoon. We were looked after royally by Ruben and Marcel - they made us feel very spoiled. Three delicious wines were served with accompanying snacks in a warm and informative style by Ruben which made for a very chilled and comfortable experience. The boat exceeded our expectations - it was very clean stylish and well equipped. We were treated to some stunning views of Porto, the Dour, its bridges and the surrounding area. - there are plenty of fabulous photo opportunities. I highly recommend this trip.
