Getting there was part of the fun! The port was good, as was the cheese, and the presentation was excellent.

Highly recommend. They are a family business and offer great wine and cheeses. I bought four bottles to take home.
We had a wonderful port and cheese pairing experience at Quevedo, the building was wonderful and Miguel, our host, was very knowledgable and friendly. We feel like we learned a lot about port and food science, and thoroughly enjoyed the port. A must do if staying in Porto or Vila Nova de Gaia and would definitely recommend to a friend.
I had a fun and wonderful port tasting experience. The wine/port guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Its a good Port tasting if you don't have that long in porto with so many sights to see, information was well presented by a very pleasant guide
What a lovely experience with wonderful Porto and paired cheeses! Our guide for the experience was extremely knowledgeable and welcomed our questions throughout our experience. We highly recommend this tour.
Very informative and educational presentation. Our host was very knowledgable. We learned a lot in a very short time. the wines port chese were excellent.
Great Experience, Fernando was so knowledgeable and friendly. The port and cheese pairing was very interesting and detailed.
The wine pairing was OK. There was a presentation about port wine and how it was made. The wine tasting included 3 fairly healthy pours of 3 types of port wine. The presentation included an explanation on how the 3 port wines differed from one another. The guide named the 3 cheeses that were in front of us. He offered his opinion on his favorite pairing; however, there was no explanation of why one might pair 1 of the cheese samples with 1 of the wine varieties. In my opinion, the explanation of “why” you might pair wine with a certain food is the purpose of a “pairing”. Although the presentation on wine was interesting, the “pairing” missed the boat in Porto!
The staff particularly Danny were great. So much knowledge and friendly. The whole experience was so much fun. The port and cheese were delicious.
We spent an enjoyable couple of hours on a rainy Oct afternoon visiting Quevedo Family port house, tasting 4 different types of port paired extremely well with the cheese. Our guide was very friendly & knowledgeable about the history of Quevedo port. To begin with I wasn't a big fan of all the ports but paired with the cheese. Wow what a difference, complemented the flavour of the port. Favourite Ruby
This event was a blast. Attentive, friendly and knowledgeable staff (Dima). The port and gin was amazing. Four of us friends had so much fun. Would highly recommend to anyone
Our host was fabulous. Excellent port tasting with paired cheeses. Nice venue and great location. Would highly recommend.
Very personal and nice tasting. Very good Porto with matching cheeses. Friendly staff with a good explanation.
I was late and they still let me do the activity in full which was great. Beautiful spot in an old building by a window with a one on one experience All the cheese & port was delicious and the info was interesting not boring No pressure to buy anything but was there if you wanted
Great welcome, great staff, especially the knowledgeable Ricardo. The port was pretty good, as was the cheese. I am determined to drink more port in the future.
A fantastic good port wine tasting, Miguel was incredibly good at explaining which cheeses fit for rest port types and especially rest that do not fit together, it is the tasting out of 6 tasting we think was the best, it was really an eye-opener. Quevedo is a small port wine house but definitely worth a visit, when buying several bottles it is possible to get the bottles home even shipping free when buying a certain value. Thank you for the experience Miguel
The activity felt a bit "short" for its price. They barely give you a few little pieces of cheese (very good, though). In about 20 minutes we were already done. Thank goodness our activity companions were lovely and we stayed for a while chatting with them; this was the best part of the activity.
That besides a tasting with food pairing, you can have some wines with some cold cuts and cheese tapas.
A very good and enriching experience with a friendly yet professional instructor (Marcia). Saying it is recommended is an understatement.
Delighted with the experience. Miguel has been an excellent guide, and the wines and cheeses have been exquisite. I totally recommend it.
We had not done any before. All the staff were very kind. Personalized and close treatment. Fun and interesting, ten out of ten!
Ines introduced us very professionally, enthusiastically, and kindly to the secrets of port wines and impressively showed us how much an ideal pairing can make with the perfectly matching cheeses. The showroom is attractively designed; you sit at tables made from barrels, under whose glass top many corks are located. In the small shop, you can buy port wines and wines without feeling "pressured to do so" - very nice! Fascinating Mayan site.
Excellent Fernando, the guide of the tasting a great professional, the products both wines and cheeses of great quality, very friendly excellent treatment
Wonderful host! Good port! Lots of laughter! Easy booking! Well worth it. Very good pairing with the cheese! Thanks!
