This was a perfect way to start a city tour with a super overview of the city. Anna (our main guide) and a new guide (Isabelle) were very knowledgeable and passionate about the city of Porto. They brought us to all the key sights and highlighted historical references. This was a great way to get your own personal touch and connection with Porto.
This was a very fast tour covering a large area of up & down stairs & hills. If you aren’t very mobile, avoid this one. Mayinka was quite knowledgeable & pleasant to listen to. Knowing I had hearing issues, she spoke up at a level I could better understand considering her accent which was not as bad as I worried it might be. She covered a great deal of territory & filled us in on many things from start to finish. I enjoyed her candid take on life there in Porto explaining many of the changes that had occurred through the years. I would recommend this tour to anyone able to keep up with a fast pace wanting to learn a great deal about Porto in a relatively short amount of time. Thanks Mayinka 😊
I booked this private walking tour during my stay in Porto and had a great time. Gustavo was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared lots of interesting stories about the city along the way. Visiting places like São Bento Station, Clérigos Tower, and Porto Cathedral was much more meaningful with his explanations. The tour was relaxed, informative, and a perfect introduction to Porto. It was an informative walking tour. We walked for 2.5 hours and covered much of the city. It’s an easy city to navigate and it was good to make my own way back to where I was staying.

Our guide took us all over town and gave us really awesome stories of the history and culture as we went through. There’s so many little fun facts I would never have known about! Especially the “lice” restaurant or the wooden staircase in the Harry Potter library. I love the old fire alarm system they used to have too!
