Aveiro And Costa Nova Half Day Tour From Porto With Boat Ride

It was a nice ride out to the coast. Our guide Bruno A was awesome adding information about both areas we saw as well as historical perspectives.

The tour went perfectly. Bruno A. is an excellent guide—attentive to the group’s mood, positive, and very punctual. I was really pleased with how well he looked after everyone. Our driver, George, also did a fantastic job; throughout the entire trip, not a single pothole on the road caused any discomfort to my aching lower back.

Bruno A and Jorge, were a great team. Jorge is a great and safe bus driver and Bruno A was funny, informative and very helpful. The tour had enough time to wander ourselves as well as go to the next place. Highly recommend !

Our tour guide Henk was great in his knowledge and explanation of sites and the reasons of why it was done. Henk was very accommodating in accepting us from the English tour to his tour. He was our guide and driver and made sure what to see/ visit and where to meet to be on time. He was flexible and was great to everyone in the group. I highly recommend this tour while in Porto.

Good short jaunt out of Porto. Not much to see in Costa Nova. Enjoyed boat tour in Aveiro. Diego and Rui B were great. Only issue- there were two different meeting points listed on the tickets. Had to message morning of for clarification.

The chauffeur and guide were good and very friendly. That’s kind off the only positive thing I can say. The program was very poorly. After 70 min driving from Porto to Costa Nova, we literally had 20 min (including time to go to the toilet) just to walk 200m to make some pictures. Then we drove to Aveiro, where we had only 15 minutes (!) to explore the city centre before entering the boat. The guide on the boat was very difficult to understand because of the (electric) motor and because he turned his back a lot of times to address the other passengers. The sightseeing from the boat was not very special. After the boat tour, we received one small pastry and half a shot glass white port. Then we had 10 minutes to buy something in the store where they gave us these consumptions, after which we had to return to the autocar (the autocar I must say was luxury). But honestly.. it wasn’t worth the price nor the time. It was a race against time and we didn’t even suffered a traffic jam.

Great trip, very knowledgable guide in Mario, with lots of stories to tell! Costa Nova was very pretty and had just enough time to have a little wander around. Aveiro was good and little boat ride was enjoyable, probably needed another half hour there though!

Great snapshot trip to see these two places. It's an hour each way on the minibus. We didn't bother with the boat trip so we had more time in Aveiro to wonder. Our tour guide was knowledgeable about the area.

We had a great morning with Bernardo as our guide, we went on the traditional boats and saw the colorful houses that were very pretty. Recommend !

Great trip for a shorter tour experience. We got to the meeting point early and had no idea if we were in the right place. There were no signs nor representative waiting. A bit stressful. However, Christian was excellent and Manuel got us from Porto to our location and back safely. It was a wonderful experience and the boat ride was relaxing and informative.

Joao was an excellent guide for the tour. A little rushed but perfect. Had a very nice time.

Perfect tour when being alone. Last Minute booking was possible which was great. The tour could be maybe little bit longer or more time to at least enjoy a coffee for example at the beach in Costa nova. But otherwise everything was great.

We had a wonderful 4-hour, half-day, tour of Aveiro and Costa Nova with Paulo, in Portuguese. He was very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, showing us the best spots and making sure we had a fantastic experience. He was also great at entertaining both my mother and me, making us feel comfortable and turning the day into something truly special. Despite the tour lasting only four hours, we were able to enjoy so much thanks to his excellent guidance and thoughtful approach. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Paulo and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Aveiro and Costa Nova. Thank you for making our day so memorable!

Really nice experience with our guide Bruno A, he’s really nice and made our guide unforgettable. The boat tour was amazing. I woul recommend an extra hour for sightseeing Aveiro.

Bruno A was great. Pick up /drop Off easy enough. Loved Costa Nova & Alveiro but would recommend more time is needed to explore both areas independently / visit cafe’s etc after the boat trip which was fun.

Lovely trip but we did the half day experience which is a little rushed. We would have preferred longer at each of the stops. 30 mins wasn’t long enough to do anything other than take a few photos. Great if you are pushed for time and just want to experience the sights.

IT was a very beautiful Trip with Geoge & Diego! The explanations were eays to follows und they are realy nice. The only two things we had a bad notice: No. 1: ist was to Shirt! We liked to have more time in Aveiro so engoy the beautiful City! No. 2: die Front-Glas of the Bus was Borken. The windshield kept fogging up during the drive in the morning. We were traveling with our 3-year-old son, and, due to the poor visibility, we were unfortunately concerned for our safety.
