Aveiro, Costa Nova & Atlantic Coast: Full Day & Small Group Tour

We had a wonderful experience on this tour! It was a small-group, very relaxed tour, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Our tour guide, Ricardo, was absolutely fantastic — professional, knowledgeable, patient, and easygoing. He gave us plenty of time at each sightseeing spot to explore, walk around, and take photos without ever feeling rushed. I also really appreciated how responsive the tour company was throughout the process. Their excellent communication made everything so easy and stress-free. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a relaxed, enjoyable, and well-organized sightseeing experience. Four of us went on this tour (2 couples) and Pedro was our guide. He’s super knowledgeable about Portuguese history and culture and is so funny. He made our 45 min trip to Aviero entertaining and informative. The tour itself was also amazing. Casa Nova and Aviero are great local beach towns. Our first stop was a lighthouse, then on the Aviero, then a church on the beach. We had about 3 hours in Aviero to explore on our own, but Pedro offered a ton of suggestions and recommendations. We loved Pedro so much we booked a Duoro Valley tour with him the next day.

We did a full day tour visiting Costa Nova, Aveiro, Velega & Senhor de pedra. Our host for the day was Antonio who was really knowledgeable, spoke so many different languages which was really impressive! It was a small tour of 7 people, Aveiro was definitely my favourite, absolutely stunning place. We had a few hours there where we rode the Gondola, had lunch and had a look around, just beautiful. Costa Nova was gorgeous with all the striped houses. Velega is probably the most stunning church I have ever seen, the entire building covered in mosaic tiles both inside and out, breathtaking 😍 Senhor de Pedra was also beautiful, when the tide comes in making the church appear to be floating in the sea. A fantastic full day trip not be missed! Thank you Antonio!

Luis was a lovely guide and the trip was great. Lots of free time to wander but Luis was on hand if you needed anything. He was full of useful information and very knowledgable. We especially loved art nouveau architecture hunting in Aveiro. Highly recommended

Perfect tour started with really good communication where to meet, what to bring. Nice car with plenty of room, very clean. Luís, our guide, was very friendly, kind and well organised. Places to visit were perfect, interesting and we got lots of great tips from Luís. Hi could highly recommend this day tour to Aveiro. And you should definitely do the boat tour in Aveiro. We really enjoyed our day with Antonio to Aveiro, Costa Nova and the Atlantic coast. The van was very comfortable and Antonio's interesting commentary left us much wiser about so many things. He was kind and patient and gave us plenty of free time in each place, making helpful suggestions about things to see, places to eat etc. We were very fortunate as the two other passengers didn't turn up so it was like a private tour. I would highly recommend this company and Antonio Bras, the guide, in particular. Thank you for a great day out.

Lovely small group tour , informative guide and driver . Lots of interesting facts - would have preferred a shorter visit in Aveiro and a bit longer at the beach but only because the weather was so nice .

Great combo of relaxation and exploration! Saw and learned things about the region I would have never experienced if it were not for our guide. The fish market was easily the best surprise. Pedro was exceptional, knowledgeable, funny, and great driver. He went above and beyond, not just to make the day enjoyable, but with suggestions of things to do, places to eat, that could last us a week.

We did the day tour to Aveiro. Diana was our guide. We absolutly had the best day. Diana was so kind, helpfull and had a lot of good information about the locations. The group was also very nice, really good that it was small. Makes it more personal. I would absolutly recommend this tour/organisation to everyone!

Luis was a superb guide and driver - very friendly and informative all the through and accommodating. Driving was smooth and safe. Good amount of history and context for the sights we saw especially in Costa Nova.

We had a wonderful day on this tour and would highly recommend it. The places we visited were beautiful and interesting, and there was plenty of free time in Aveiro to explore at our own pace, have lunch, and enjoy the atmosphere. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared a lot of fascinating information throughout the day. What made the experience even more enjoyable was his ironic sense of humor. In fact, we were lucky to have not just one guide, but also his two trainees, who were all friendly and engaging. We spent the whole day laughing, learning, and discovering new places. The small-group format made a huge difference – it felt personal and relaxed rather than like a typical crowded tourist excursion. Everyone was kind, well-organized, and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great experience. A perfect day trip from Porto! Highly recommended.

Delightful day trip to Costa Nova and Aveiro with amazing tour guide Cheila. Trip was well planned, with own time as well as planned time in each place we visited. Four different places well spaced throughout the trip. Places chosen were interesting and fun, including a stunningly beautiul church off the beaten path, with no other tour groups visiting that site. Highly recommend this small group tour and huge shout out to our guide Cheila. She was enthusiastic, very well informed and personable and professional. To boot, she was an excellent driver!

We had a great time with Luis, super knowledgeable about the areas we visited and very very friendly. Took a chance on a trip with only one review at the time and it was well worth it. Don't let the lack of reviews scare you from booking this fun little day trip!

Nice tour, very comfortable, but the guide didn't really seem like a guide; they told very little and often didn't even speak English as described, tending to speak French due to the presence of other people in the group who spoke it.

Excellent tour, especially Antonio the driver and guide, truly skilled and professional; he took us to discover the places with friendliness, courtesy, and great professionalism.

Luis accompanied us on this delightful tour of the Coast that we highly recommend! He entertained us but at the same time left us free to be able to enjoy the local attractions. Absolutely recommended!
